Palmitos Park – Maspalomas

The Zoological Palmitos Park Maspalomas Gran Canaria is one of those activities you have to do at least one time while on holiday in Gran Canaria. If you live here, like us, you will probably go at least once or twice per year, usually when friends or family are visiting the island. It is a really peaceful experience looking at the animals in the lush gardens and valleys of the park. There are several shows, like bird shows, dolphin show, and a parrot show you should not miss while there. You will probably need at least 4 hours to see it all. You can take sandwiches along or simply eat at one of the restaurants or stands.

We loved the park, even though I have to say it’s quite pricey, we paid almost €90 for two adults and a child under 5, that’s quite steep. But nevertheless, we have a great time! The animals looked healthy and vivacious and the shows were also nice. I especially liked the part where you can feed the Loris birds yourself, that was a fun activity! You need to know that the park is in the mountains and you need to walk uphill quite a bit so I’m not sure how suitable it is for wheelchairs. All in all we had a memorable day here.

Very nice park with plenty of animals to look at. Primarily a large veriety of birds, but also others such as monkeys, turtles and crocodiles. There is also an aquarium with many different kinds of fish. Included in the ticket are shows with both dolphins and birds. There are several places to buy food and drinks and restrooms are plenty. The park is clean and beautifully maintained.

It’s a nicer place than we expected, in the middle of mountains and has nice view. And there are places you can feed the birds and fish, kids enjoyed those. The family photo points are great and photos are in reasonable price (10 euro for one, 17 for two) We used bus to travel there (using google map) from Maspalomas, it was easy and cheap. We had coupons from airport for 3 euros discount for each entrance ticket up to 4 people, so we bought the tickets on the gate and there was now waiting

I personally feel that this isn’t the best place to visit when visiting the island. Admission prices are quite high and there are other attractions that are better value, that involve animals.I also feel that some of the enclosures for the animals are too small and some of the animals do not look the best of health, this includes some of the monkeys. We did watch the dolphin show but we left after our 5 year old got upset seeing on the the dolphins fins bleeding during the display, whilst I don’t feel that these aren’t look after, it isn’t so nice for them to see.The restaurant was busy when we visited, this had table service. The food prices were high but nothing that you wouldn’t expect from a tourist place like this.I’ve given it three stars, as some of the staff were nice but couldn’t give it the full 5 stars due to the look of some of the animals.

What an amazing place to be with family! Children literally enjoyed the place. This place is beautiful with stunning view points, beautiful gardens with vibrant colored cactus and orchids. Different varieties of Birds of different countries, show casing their shows. Dolphin show is a top notch which everyone enjoyed. I advise to occupy the afternoon show and not 16:30, they just wind up a lot more fast at this time. Ideal time to visit is around 11 am in the morning either by car or Bus. Tickets can be purchased on spot but if purchased online on the official website costs much cheaper than on spot booking. Please be noted with the restaurant timings in the park and more importantly, please be on time if you’re taking the bus back home. Else you will end up paying huge price for the taxi.

Nice zoo to visit with kids. Location is amazing. Dolphins and birds shows are really great. Aquarium is nice especially for toddlers because the aquariums are placed low so toddlers can see themselves without parents to lift them.In my view, there are could be more varieties of butterflies (there are only a few of them I could see), they variety of parrots in the contact areas could be improved also.Otherwise, it’s well maintained zoo but I think is a bit pricey but if you consider shows than maybe it’s ok.Children age 11 and up considered as adults. I find this strange. For 35 € you can get two photos with a dolphin. For 2€ feed fish.

Palmitos Park in Gran Canaria is a place definitely worth visiting. The animals are beautifully cared for, and their enclosures are large, clean, and very well-maintained. You can clearly see that the park is run by people with passion and genuine love for animals, which creates a truly special atmosphere. The only aspect that raises mixed feelings is the conditions for the dolphins. While the pools are well-kept, with six dolphins in total, they could be larger to provide them with even more space.Overall, the park leaves a great impression and is a fantastic place for both adults and children. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend time close to nature and beautiful animals!

We are so pleased we visited this park. Built within the canyon, it is creatively laid out with beautiful landscaping throughout. There are so many unique animals to see, and all seem to be well cared for. There is interesting information about all of the types of animals. We went to every one of the shows and we were thoroughly impressed by each. The shows were entertaining and informative. The dolphin show is the best I've ever seen, and I loved the birds of prey show when the birds flew down the canyon and eventually made their way back.

Palmitos Park is a great experience nestled in a scenic mountain area. The drive there is on a narrow road but very well-maintained, and there’s a large, free parking lot, which is a plus. We booked our tickets online (same price as at the gate), and having an online ticket allowed us to use a separate, faster queue. We arrived on a Tuesday around 11:30, and it wasn’t too crowded. The park is exceptionally well-maintained and clean, with great facilities, including restrooms, shops, a restaurant, a cafe, and even a picnic area. There’s so much to see, from reptiles and exotic birds to a wonderful dolphin show, which was the highlight of our visit. These amazing, intelligent creatures put on a fantastic performance!Even with some improvement work underway, it didn’t disrupt the experience at all. Palmitos Park is perfect for both adults and kids, and you could easily spend a full day there exploring everything. The animals are clearly well-cared for, and overall, it was a fantastic day out. Highly recommend it!

An awesome experience in this unique place! Beforehand, enjoy amazing interactive shows conducted by highly experienced trainers with animals like birds and reptiles. There are also unique and spectacular performances featuring the smartest dolphins, happening multiple times a day.The beautiful environment is filled with flowering plants, trees, and cacti, all set against a highland backdrop. Keep in mind that the weather here may be slightly cooler compared to the seaside and lowlands, so dress accordingly. Possible to get nice burger or pizza for around 15 eur at the beautifully decorated cafe within the park.

What a great place to spend the day.I'll admit, I wasn't expecting much especially after visiting similar places in America. But...This was great, we were both really impressed. The bird of prey show was great and the presenters were very informative and quite funny. The exhibits were clean and appeared well looked after. We had a meal in one of the eateries, it was a bit pricey but quite nice.

A great family outing. The best part about this park is the shows and the timings of the shows. The first show starts at 10:30 which we decided to skip but going up the hill to the predator bird show it starts at 11:30, perfect timing if you’re taking it easy. Then after the bird show is the dolphin show at 14:30. There’s only one route so it’s easy to go with the flow of the park. the cages are clean and the animals look well cared for. Though I question whether a snowy owl should be kept at this temperature. The place is incredibly hilly so not suited for people who have difficulty walking. I also didn't see any change tables but I didn't check every toilet. We decided to bring sandwiches and water bottles, I'm glad we did, it meant we didn't spend an inordinate amount of money on mediocre lunch and drinks. All in all, it was a great family day out.

Lovely park with plenty of animals to see and some great shows. Park very clean and staff friendly.Only real issue that we found on our visit is there is no baby changing facilities in the male toilets or separate baby changing which makes things more difficult when visiting with a young family. Would make a difference if this was addressed.

A lovely little zoo with birds of prey and exotic bird and animal encounter shows. The main attraction being the Dolphins and their show. I've been twice and the 2nd Dolphin show of the day was really quiet if you're not a fan of crowds. The food was excellent and way more than what I expected from a zoo cafe!

Brilliant animal park with a dolphin show and bird of prey show. It's spotlessly clean. The animals look well looked after. It had all sorts - flamingos, crocodiles, meerkat, reptiles, an aquarium, and the dolphins are a must-see. We got drinks but not food as we took a packed lunch. There's plenty of shade throughout the park and benches to sit on. It's quite hilly. The dolphin show has a shade, but the bird of prey arena doesn't, so it was too uncomfortably hot to sit there for long. We sat to the side in front of the drinks stand. I guess it's due to the birds flying so low over the crowd, which looked fun. The trainer was so knowledgeable about each bird. The gift shop is very reasonably priced. All the staff are friendly, polite and helpful. The parrot show towards the end of the day is fun. It's set in the mountains, so it's a picturesque drive there.

More than I expected. In all honesty, I thought this was going to be your generic zoo. But wow it is so beautiful within the mountains with lovely scenery. It was so quiet when we visited, I'm from London so this was quite the contrast. It made everything 10x more enjoyable. My main highlights were the dolphins (incredibly cute) and feeding the birds, which was a great interaction for my 2.5 year old. Strangely, I enjoyed the hilly paths, maybe because I was on holiday and excited to see the dolphins, but I was also pushing around a double pram. Very jealous of the lady in the dolphin show haha. We saw most of the animals but unfortunately didn't get to do anymore shows as our toddler was having a meltdown so we left. Would definitely visit again to get the full experience.

The park is located in the middle of the mountains and is beautifully constructed. All 4 shows are great and unique. The birds can fly around freely during the show and the eagles sometimes fly for hours before returning. Many of the shows are also interactive. The dolphin acrobatics are also fascinating. The animals are very well looked after

We bought the joined tickets with the water park and they work out about €10 each cheaper!Be warned this place is amazing but is pretty much built in to the side of a mountain! There are probably 3 flat bits where you eat and the gift shop 😂 everything else is up or down!Strategically placed umbrellas and seats really help when it’s hot out!The weather was fantastic but really hot so breaks are welcome! The selection of animals is brilliant!Really good day out!It truly is in the middle of no where! Advise getting a cab as it’s just easier and all cabs on the island are extremely reasonably priced. The dolphins are definitely the icing on the cake! The trainers do the tricks with them which is really cool to see! The guy was basically Aquaman in the flesh! There is a small Aquarium just after the dolphins!Butterfly enclosure is cool! The small bird enclosure was really cool as they basically land on your head if you have some of the feed for them!Speaking of which make sure you take some 1 Euro coins with you to use the “feed” vending machines as this really adds to the experience! Most people will share the feed in the bird enclosure after they use it but they might not either! So best to be prepared! All round great day out! Highly recommended

An experience of a lifetime. Stunning scenery whilst watching spectacular shows, including birds of prey that were allowed to free fly, exotic birds, aquariums, turtles, alligators, other reptiles and much more. A fun packed family day out. A dolphin experience that I highly recommend, it isn't cheap at €150 but if you are a dolphin lover like me, I'm up close and personal in the water with them,an experience you will cherish You can also do a cheaper mini experience €90 having photos with a dolphin and an amazing show to follow.A must do experience when visiting the island.

Fantastic place with beautiful nature and a good selection of animals and plants to see. Even though there were lots of people, the place doesn't feel busy and crowded. There is plenty of room in the show grounds for where birds show and also for a dolphin show. Both shows were amazing and well-presented. There are cafes dotted around, so it is always good for a cool down with a drink or an ice cream and also a restaurant area with good choices and prices for food. The restaurant sitting area is cool and spacious with a wonderful Amazonian effect. We loved seeing all the animals, which seemed to be well-looked after. The only thing to be careful about is that the area is very hilly and not a disabled person friendly. However, there are disabled toilets and ramps everywhere. I think it would be very hard to go around with a wheelchair or in crutches etc. The souvenir shop is not badly priced - same as any in the UK etc. The photos are amazing- there is a good choice of them and no pressure of buying them. You can have one with the dolphin and also holding the parrots. I would highly recommend this zoo- it feels peaceful and it is really stunning with waterfalls and an amazing nature collection. We will go back again when we visit Gran Canaria again 😊.

What a fantastic day out, really well laid out and plenty of shaded areas almost everywhere except when going to see the birds of pray exhibit (which I highly recommend). Very hot when we went (July) so recommend taking plenty of drinks. Food was nice too, and reasonably priced for what it was. The dolphins are amazing to see, and they’re definitely worth seeing. It is quite hilly so might not be suited for everyone!! Actually had more water than the “Aqua’ park we visited a few days before!!

We visited on a Sunday, it wasn't overcrowded and the park is immaculate and animals are generally well looked after. There are some very steep walks in the park.We loved the birds of prey show and how they released them for a while to roam. Beautiful cactus garden higher up with a view. There's a lot of wildlife around the park and many of the rangers were friendly and approachable. In summary I would go again. The surprise photos with the parrots were unexpected, being flashed around a corner our photos could have been better - mine was the side of me. There were plenty of paid photo opportunities in the park but very expensive. There are no picnic signs in the seating areas we walked past, we took our own food due to my dietary requirements. The food and drinks were very expensive at the kiosks and restaurant.
Breath taking views. The best bird show I think I've ever been to, the guys that run it are very friendly. the birds get close. You can pay to take a photo with the dolphin. But also a great show for you to see too. this is not recommended if you don't like to walk or pregnant. A big claim up to the top. But when you do the views are more then worth it. One of the most unique places I've ever visited

Absolutely stunning day trip! Gotta praise the bird show and the dolphin show - we were amazed how clever these animals are and what tricks the trainers taught them, well done all of you. Lots of places to go the toilet, stands with drinks and snacks on every corner and overall very pleasant experience! Also the drive there is amazing, great to see such a different country to ours (UK and Czech). 100% recommend!

Our family was so happy in the park but only reason for a 4 stars is the price for everything. We all know the park cost a lot for water, food, and other things but you can easily spend €200 for this event. Also there is so hot. There is nothing ebove your head when you're on the dolfins show.Otherwise the shows and the park is great. You can buy tickets and food online and some money. The pizza was great, chicken nuggets with chips also. The coke was huge.Check the shows timetable and you can save some steps.

Not a bad zoo by any means, but not sure if it's worth the price. Definitely a lot to see, but nothing particularly spectacular. Add the steep uphill climb and the scorching hot weather and it becomes quire a risk for heat stroke. There are a few shows, of which we seen the one with dolphins and it was nice. Quite a lot of exotic birds which was nice. There is a restaurant there but it is really expensive for what it is. So would recommend bringing your own food.

Lots of animals, especially birds. You can hold birds in your hands, on your head, and on your shoulders for pictures, but it costs money, it didn't bother me at all. 4 different shows per day. You can buy a ticket with which you can take a photo with With a dolphin. You can also feed fish and emus for two euros. Emu can bite a little. There is an aquarium and a butterfly room and a greenhouse. I highly recommend.

Fantastic wildlife park. Reptiles, exotic birds, birds of pray, dolphins and some more. It is a bit off geographically, a long drive on a winding road but well worth it. The dolphin show is amazing, and if you can afford it, the dolphin encounter is fantastic. 30 min together with the dolphins and a trainer.Included in encounter is a couple of photos, but if you want all you have to pay a ridicolous amount for the rest. You get a feeling that it is all about the money, but still the connection between the dolphins and the trainer is amazing to see.

Great zoo with plenty to see and do. It’s built on a hill so be prepared for some walking but it’s very much worth it. Plenty of places around to get water and drinks when it’s hot and plenty of toilet facilities too. Don’t miss the indoor bird house where for €2 you can get a little tub of bird milk and the birds will land on your hand to drink it. absolutely beautiful park. we booked tickets through our hotel and got a €3 discount per person and our 2 year went free.the dolphin show was amazing! there were many seats available and lots of shading. we also saw the birds of prey show and i got to catch an eagle on my arm. however there was no shading for this show so it got quite hot sat in the 90°F weather.this park does require tons of walking so be prepared for that. expect to spend at least 4-5 hours here especially if you are with young children.
It was a beautiful last day of our holiday, and we paid the extra €150.00 for the dolphin Experience. Sadly I couldn't see the children in the water but the photos were wonderful. The price was 3 for €25.00 and €5.00 each afterwards. We also got photos taken with parrots, it was such a great family experience. The dolphin show was wonderful and you could see how much the trainers really cared and respected them, it was lovely to see their relationship. We ate in the steak restaurant and shared pizza which was delicious, with cool Cola, exactly what we needed.Lots of photo opportunities and animals to see in a leisurely walk around the park.So happy, thank you!

We loved it that is so unexpectedly green. The surrounding green is well designed. We loved the birds of prey show. The lead is so funny. The dolphin show is a blast. The entrance to the park is very easy, yet the park is quite far away from most things so it will cost a bit in a cab or just get one of the busses. The queue times where not long at all to get in and very quickly got us in. When you arrive make sure to check the timings for the shows as some are one after the other. Be very prepared to do some hilly walking and overpaying on food. The dolphin show is amazing and so are the birds of prey (some of the birds do like to do their own thing). Nonetheless it was a great day out. Remember to pack a lot of water hats food and sun cream for the shows as there not under shade.

Palmitos Park is a gem of a zoo that offers a delightful and spacious environment. The collection of beautiful and exotic animals is truly unique, providing a rare sighting opportunity. The shows are entertaining and educational, making the €35 entrance fee well worth it. It's a top recommendation for your holiday, offering 5-7 hours of fun and a fantastic backdrop for stunning photographs. Don't miss the chance to experience Palmitos Park—it's an unforgettable adventure!

Brilliant park, very well laid out with places to get out of the sun/heat. Lovely seeing the animals. The Dolphin show was my favourite part of the park oh and the Birds of Prey.We ate in the restaurant and the food was good with friendly staff 😋My only complaint would be the busy service No.70 from Global Buses, an absolute disgrace.
Amazing animal park that surprised me with the quality of the layout and variety. Make sure you go to the aviary show and the dolphins show. Brilliant day out and one I will remember fondly for a long time.

One of the best places I’ve ever visited. I thought €35 was expensive, but once you go, it’s completely worth the price. We saw the dolphin show which was exceptional - they care so much for them. We also saw the exotic bird show which was amazing. The scenery is beautiful with lots of plants to look at. The staff are super friendly. The highlight was the photo with the parrots! Yes the drinks are expensive, but I think the price is fine considering it could be more.I would recommend this to anyone considering going.

Very good park with real and beautiful dolphins and birds shows (comparing with Loro Park), reach collection of animals. The area is very green and lots of shadow, if you come with kids. No regrets we were there.PS: we bought combined tickets with Aqualand, it's cheaper
"Worth a special visit"Very cozy and atmospheric. Closest experience with animals I remember,. All park is green and full of shade - we were comfortable during the all +31C day.Shows are very good, you can tell staff loves their wild friends. You can see all in half a day rush but I strongly recommend to plan the whole day for a calm relaxing visit.

We visited this park with two small children, aged 4 and 2. Both kids were allowed entry free of charge. The park itself is definitely worth a visit. It is easily reachable by car (a 20 minute drive from Maspalomas). The selection of animals is rather limited (don't expect elephants, tigers or lions) but they have a magnificent selection of beautiful birds and beautiful aquaria. You can come close to the animals in their free flight zones. The butterfly zone is fun with little children, and the dolphin show was very nicely executed and fun to watch. The difference with most other animal parks is that the animal enclosures are nicely integrated in the environment. The surrounding nature is omnipresent. The only "bad point" are the fairly expensive food options. It is best to come relatively early so you get to see some of the animal shows as well.Overall worth the trip if you have little children.

Palmitos park definitely exceeded my expectations, although at first there may not seem like a lot of animals to see, my opinion changed throughout the park, obviously it was going to be different to a zoo you'd visit in England. The shows that are on throughout the day make it all worthwhile and definitely great value for money. Just hope the eagle that wouldn't return finally did 😅.The dolphin show is also a great watch with all staff and entertainers doing a fantastic job.Reasonable price for photos with a dolphin too which I wish I had paid for.Would recommend if you are in Gran Canaria

We went to Palmitos Park and I was rather disappointed in comparison to other zoos on the canaries.Beautiful orchids in the orchid garden.I enjoyed the dolphins, definitely go to both shows if you have time as they are different shows. The road travelling in is a bit hairy in places. The signage could be better.Large car park.Lots of toilets.Great restaurant, reasonable priced meals. The gift shop is expensive.

An amazing day out. You must see the free birds and dolphin shows!! An absolute must or you would be missing out hugely. The scenery is amazing, the staff are friendly, plenty of toilets, spots where you could buy a meal, a gift shop and a few kiosks. The staff went out of their way to give the kids a moment to remember. Hard to have an experience like it anywhere else!!

Park is located in valley on outskirts of urban areas. Getting there takes a bit time and is via narrow and winding roads. The visit for family 2+2 costed 122 euro and is only worth 5⭐️ if you will manage to see the shows. So make sure to plan your visit and adjust to show’s schedule! That’s is the main attraction.Park is well maintained and staff is friendly. We were visiting it second time and maybe will visit again in future.Negatives:- Don’t eat in the restaurant there, you will be disappointed or 🤢 I recommend take a lunch box with you.- There is very poor cellular and mobile data signal in the valley- There is a bit too much commercial push to buy/pay extra for photos, toys etc.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this zoo! It was massive and we spent nearly 5 hours there!! So much to see and different shows on at different times! The dolphin show was amazing! Such talented and amazing creatures!! You can tell their animals are well cared for and happy! There was lots of restaurants also but we didn’t eat there! They also had an aquarium and a butterfly house! I recommend buying tickets before hand as it is cheaper!

This was a very nice experience for us, there was no line at the tiket office, plenty of room to park the car and the place - huge! We didn’t watch the dolphin and the birds shows (it was too much for us, we old :] ) however the stroll was something else. We found different species of birds, some more curious than others, a diversity of fish, the orchid garden was lovely (i love orchids so for me it was heaven), the butterfly garden was also heaven (i also love butterflies, you can probably tell :]), butterflies were literally crashing into you (one or two actually bumped into me and they were pretty large!), crocodiles, snakes, mammals of all kinds! This is a great place to create holiday memories. I recommend it for everyone!

Fantastic park in Gran Canaria. If you hire a car 15 minutes drive from Maspalomas. The park is in the mountains so only recommend well experienced drivers otherwise use taxi or bus ( both reasonable price )We stayed 5 hours but can easily spend more time.Be prepared a comfortable shoes and clothes lots of walk up and down on the hill.Highly recommend Birds of Pray and Dolphins show.Birds of pray show there is no shelter so take a hat, suncream and plenty of drinks with you. Dolphins show perfectly in the shades.Food and drink price is the same like every other tourist spots but queue is quite long.Plenty of bench so you can sit and ate your own pack lunch. You can have a photo with dolphins, eagles or parrots for a bit extra money.Overall highly recommend and fantastic memory for our family !

Brilliant day out, worth every penny! Fantastic bird show and dolphin show was great! Staff very friendly and welcoming! Very hilly so I’d advise comfy footwear. Lots of different animals to see. Food is quite pricey but very good quality and tasty! Perfect day out for all the family.

Honestly cannot fault this place. The eagle bird of prey show was fantastic and they are let free to roam the valleys until they decide to come back. Dolphin show was superb. The animals are very well looked after. It's position in the mountains looking down a valley is so beautiful. Would definitely go again.

Very nice place for a solo trip, couples, families... Everybody will find something for themselves to entertain. Clean, beautiful place, nice and helpful stuff. A lot of spots to sit and relax. Animals looked looked healthy, you can see that people care about them. I loved the dolphin show! It's amazing how the dolphin coaches communicated with those smart animals! Very entertaining! Also the Birds of prey show - beautiful animals showed in spectacular show.

Amazing park in Gran Canaria with lots of local animals, a big variety of birds with very interesting bird shows in the mountainous areas. dolphin shows are also very entertaining. It’s perfect for family day out. A really fun and lonely experience. Definitely should visit if you are at the island and love animals 🙂

Fun park with all types of animals, beautiful nature, and show with dolphins, in certain times of the day. Many facilities, snack bars, and couple of larger restaurants. Great for visits with family, kids, and friends!Buy tickets for your visit online, to get a small discount, (min. 24h in advance). Online sales are not possible for a same-day visit.

As a zoo, I thought it was a neat and clean park with a landscape around the park that was one of the best I've seen. I think that some animals could have more space because the truth is that in the zoo I think there is space that is not used since they do not have a large number of animals. I would give the dolphin show a 5 out of 10, the best thing about the zoo is the bird of prey show I had never seen anything like it very well executed a 9 out of 10 . I found the butterfly area very difficult to see some. And the rest of the things in the zoo I think they can improve a lot. The best and if you like birds you can not miss the visit for the rest as I said before they can improve

Very difficult for a person in poor shape, but doable. The exotic birds show requires you to climb back up to the highest point and that was not going to happen. The birds of prey and dolphins were amazing and well worth the trek, though! If you buy your tickets online, you should download them to your phone because while my internet connection was fine my friend lost hers completely. Also you should consider taking lunch with you and eating it between the birds of prey and dolphins. There are many places on the way to sit and eat.
Really enjoyable day out. We could easily spend 4-5 hrs there with the different live displays. You can really see the ecological factor/learning that goes on with the animals and it's really nice to see the handlers with such passion for their animals.Would recommend the birds of prey show. All toilets had a baby change and were clean. Good gift shop which serves ice cream. We had a hire car but there is also a bus directly from Maspalomas.Restaurant is priced similar to the tourist locations but was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food (specifically the burger).

A great day out, especially for the amazing birds of prey show. I don't agree with the reviews suggesting the animals are badly treated as they all seemed well cared for to me. The dolphin show was fantastic but I do feel a bit unhappy about these wonderful, highly intelligent creatures being kept in captivity even in the favourable environment here. Only full meals were available in the main restaurant on my visit as the snack bar was drinks only for some reason.

Can add up to an expensive day outIf you choose to go for a dolphin experience (don't call it 'swimming with dolphins') then it can be expensive. If you were do this, then try and get an afternoon slot. If you book far enough in advance you can get to be part of the main show. The morning is busier with the stand crowded with people. We did it in the afternoon and there was only about a third of half as many people there. We paid for the ninety euro dolphin experience, and as there were fewer people doing it then our son and daughter were asked if they wanted to be part of the show! :)I can't help feeling though, that no matter how well looked after the animals and dolphins are (and you could tell the staff love their jobs and care for the animals), they don't have enough room. There was one lone wallaby in a compound by itself. I'm kinda thinking it was completely bored. A lot of the dolphins' fins were drooping to one side, which is apparently due to them not having as much room to swim about as they would have in the wild. So as much as my kids enjoyed it, I'm not sure I would want to go again.

The "bird show" was nice.I definitely suggest to increase the size of the monkey's territory. The female one shows certain behaviour disorders. She has been sitting next to the tree and hitting her back to the tree. Or she does this next to the wall also. Visible on her back's fur. Please also check the parrots. Some of them are not in a good shape. It can be the lack of sunshine and/or vitamins.Ensure bigger Caves for the bigger birds. The dolphins.I have never visited such kind of shows ever. This was the 1st and the last time also.Definitely they're the main attraction. And DO NOT NE AFRAID to write it out in bold letters "don't touch the glass", "silence please, Do not make a noise" etc.

Both the Bird of prey and the dolphin shows were excellent. We took bus number 45 from near out hotel in Maspalomas, return was €8.80 for 2 people. We also had lunch at the restaurant and it was reasonably priced. Lots of lovely animals to see.

Definitely worth a visit with the kids. The trail brings you up a hill to see the birds of prey show and then head down to the dolphin show, exotic birds and aquarium. If you get there early (when it opens) you can comfortably get to see everything on the way upto the birds of prey show which is definitely worth a visit. Grab a snack at the kiosk on the way up. The shop at the top is closed at the moment. The only problem is at the top there is no shade so can be very hot especially for young kids. Once the show is over you can head down to the restaurant area which is beside the exotic birds and dolphin show. €20 to have a picture taken with the dolphin and if you haven't booked it already you can get it directly after the show.

This is an amazing place to visit with your friends or family if you want to experience a great natural park! Make sure to plan at least 3 hours or more for your visit as there is so much to see! The park has plenty of animals with a heavy focus on birds and dolphins. Both - the dolphins and the birds' show are definitely WORTH the visit just on its own. Everything else in the park is just extra. Nature is gorgeous as you make your way up to the outside theater where the bird show takes place. There is an amazing view and a great place to hang out with a self-serve soda station (PourMySoda), so you don't have to wait in line to get a drink, simply pay and pay thanks to a QR code. I love this efficiency!Near the pool with dolphins is a beautiful butterfly house and a great restaurant with a ton of options, everything from healthier salads all the way to pizza and of course, also goodies like ice cream and beer! Have a blast!

Visited here with my 11 and 5 year old daughters, I paid €270 for the dolphin experience which included 1 photo per person petting a dolphin, educational information about the dolphins and how they're trained. The additional photos cost €50 to buy but this is optional. It was an expensive day but other than tickets to purchase you could bring your own picnic, take your own photos and there are 3 free shows on you could go to (birds of prey, exotic birds and dolphin show). I thought they had a good range of animals to look at. The staff were clearly very knowledgeable about the animals and showed great care for them. I would recommend.

One of the best type of animal parks with lots of freedom and natural surrounding. Dolphin and eagles' show highly recommended. Road to it - well done despite being in the mountain. Price is quite high though, more than well-established and famous places in Europe. Recommended visit.
