Hangar 37 Description
The Hangar 37 Airsoft-battle is played on this exciting terrain, with tanks, old plains and bunkers. Ideal to come as a group with a few friends. But you can also come alone, as many do. You will be assigned to a team. And do not worry, you can even come alone and compete against other players.
Authentic Airsoft Battle Field
The Airsoft (or Soft-Air) battle field offers great fun and variety as it is an authentic playing field. There are tunnels, pipes, building but also trucks, planes and heavy equipment like tanks strategically placed, to give you enough cover. Ideal for those who want action! Here you feel like playing a video game – only live and right in the midst of it, very closer to reality.
Additionally, at the Hangar 37 Softair Reception, you get all you need to join this exciting game, not just the weapons, but uniforms as well (Except the shoes). You will be equipped with several hundred balls and a G & G replica of an M4.
Where is the Hangar 37 Theme Park
Hangar 37 is halfway between the Gran Canaria airport and Maspalomas on an enormous terrain in Bahia Feliz. This popular airsoft battlefield is only about 20 minutes from Puerto Rico and about 8 min from Playa del Inglés in a car.

Hangar 37’s playing field is 13.200 square meters big. This is about the size of two football (soccer) fields. 70 to 80 players can have fun at the same time. You get to play several different smaller missions and challenges, whereby most of these shorter battles and tasks take about ten minutes. That way, no one needs to be afraid to leave right at the beginning of a game and spend the rest of the time alone. Soon the next challenge begins, in which the winners and losers get a new task.
Eat and drink
After so much adventure and exercise you will probably get hungry. No problem! At the edge of the battle field there is a snack-bar, called “Canteen”, with drinks and quite delicious food at fair prices.
Location of the Hangar 37 Airsoft Field
Hangar 37 is easy to find and easy to get to even by bus. Those arriving by car will find plenty of free parking. In the immediate vicinity there is also a Go-Kart track and a small racetrack, on which smaller car races, test drives and motorcycle races take place. Right opposite, you can see a small airfield for small planes, called Aeroclub de Gran Canaria.
After using up your energy in the Hangar 37 airsoft battle, it could probably be a good idea to visit one of the nearby beaches. Hangar 37 is located directly between the motorway at access # 37 to the GC-1 and the country road G-500, which runs parallel to the sea. It is only ten minutes from Playa del Inglés and only two minutes from San Agustin.
The following bus lines stop close to the Hangar 37: #1 (an important bus route leading directly from Puerto de Mogan, Puerto Rico, Arguineguin, Meloneras, Maspalomas), #5, #25, #36, #41 and #52.
When driving past, you can hardly miss the playing field. You probably saw it on the way from the airport to your destination in the south of Gran Canaria. Their trademark can be seen from far away: It’s a huge M4 leading you the way to this very popular battle theme park.
What is Airsoft?
Airsoft or Softair is a tactical game that should be played on a terrain that is enthralling and varied as possible, which is a given at Hangar 37 on Gran Canaria. In the game, teams compete in different scenarios against each other, so it does not get boring. At the Hangar 37 Airsoft battle field there are also operators who ensure that everyone is involved in the game.
The principle of the or airsoft battle is similar to that of Paintball or Laserdrome games. However, small balls made of plastic are used here instead. These small balls do not hurt nor bruise as paint balls can do. Each player receives 350 softair-balls at the start and can buy extra ammunition if necessary.
Anyone who plays airsoft regularly will certainly have their own airsoft weapons. But, as you will hardly take them on holiday with you, Hangar 37 of course gives you everything you need for a skirmish. In addition to the right weapon, you are provided with the right uniform and masks. Which of course makes the game very safe for everyone involved, for both beginners and professionals.
For whom is Airsoft suitable?
You can visit Hangar 37 on Gran Canaria alone, with friends and of course as a group. It can also be played against other players, so you always get your money’s worth. Airsoft is suitable for almost any age group, but younger children should of course be accompanied by their parents. Children are allowed to play on the field from 12 years onward.
Hangar 37 also offers the opportunity to celebrate a birthday here, which has become very popular amongst local children.
Shooting Range
There is not only the opportunity to have fun on the field, you can also book a time in the shooting range. All you need here is a weapon and plenty of ammo to improve your air soft skills in peace and quiet.
Very Important: THE RIGHT SHOES!
The excursion to Hangar 37 Airsoft Battle is of course very exciting and thanks to the right equipment huge fun for young and old. You are provided with all the equipment. BUT, on the field the right shoes are mandatory. It does not have to be combat boots, but sandals or open footwear are not allowed. Closed shoes (for example sneakers) must be worn on the battlefield.
Anyone who has taken the journey and has no proper footwear, can then practice his shooting skills on the modern shooting range.
