Want to shop where the locals shop? Then take a trip to Mercacentro Shopping Centre Vecindario! The area of Vecindario is a bustling residential area. Where you can find great shops and restaurants. It is not a tourist resort so you won’t find any holiday complexes there.
The Mercacentro is a very small shopping centre. It houses an excellent butcher, fruit and vegetable shop, fishmonger, supermarket, TOKE’s – our favourite hairdresser, clothes shop, and cafes. One of the cafes has a small soft play area for children which is open in the mornings and again after 16.30h daily.

They can also order in speciality meats. Such as goat, organic meat and unusual cuts such as pork and beef cheeks. The fishmonger also offers the same professional service, giving you an insight into how the locals shop.
