Zoo Gran Canaria – Cocodrilo Park

Crodile Park – Regular Zoo Gran Canaria

Zoo Gran Canaria

Show og andre fasiliteter

Worthy cause, good animal welfare, well kept. Bit of a pain to get to, €40 each way taxi from Maspalomas.

Great place to visit, there was a lot more to see than I anticipated and the wildlife was great to see. There was also a bird show where they were able to walk and fly all around you, was an amazing experience

Fantastic place to go staff wonderful and very caring they really care about the animals and you can see it. For a place that is a rescue and relies on people coming to keep going, it's really clean and tidy. The shop/restaurant is a bit expensive but clean and a nice little place for kids to play while you eat. We would 1000% recommend taking your kids to this place 👌 👍.

Simply awesome! Not a zoo in the traditional way, but a rescue center where animals with a history of mistreatment are given a second chance. It is clear that they care very well for the animals there, so it was great to see so many animals enjoy life!My wife and I had a great time, so it's definitely recommended, if you love animals too!

Nice little park. Worth a visit, you can spend 2-3 hours here. Some animals were difficult so see though and parts of the park had little shade so it was extremely hot. Also the maintenance can be improved as it didn’t all look too clean and for example the “birds walkthrough” was closed, which was a shame.

Interesting experience. By the looks of the park in regards of hygiëne and safety it is quite obvious that the organization is lacking a little bit. Also some of the animals are clearly unhappy & unhealthy. We were loudly yelled at by a frustrated parrot, saw an extremely thin tiger & a group of seemingly depressed chimpansees. However there are catering / food options, special shows and the park itself is wheelchair accessible.

10 € to enter. The money goes to the rescuecenter..Dont forget to look at the opening hour! We only had one hour there because they closed 16.30 that day..To little time.So many interesting animals.Missed the little fox and the tiger cause they were hiding..Some say it's a small park.I say I had to little time.Maybe it depends of how much you like animals.

I love this place so much. I went here with my family while on a trip to Gran Canaria. The had a variety of animals, and they all seemed healthy. I also met one of the cutest birds I have ever met, I decided to name it Pico. Not only that, but the food was surprisingly good and the bathrooms were really clean. I highly recommended this place!

It was such an amazing visit. We spent the whole morning and a bit of afternoon in the park, but we could have spent easily the whole day in the park. It’s not just crocodiles but there are plenty of different animals, my 3-year-old son and a 30 something husband were thrilled. Interactions with the animals (feeding time) happen in the morning so I recommend you start your visit in the morning. Free parking in front of the park.

Expecting a small crocodile park, but it turned out to be a big and really great zoo! There's a lot of different animals and a beautiful nature in the park. The bird show I highly recommend because it was stunning! Doesn't matter where you're gonna sit, the birds are coming from everywhere 😍 my brother got a surprise in his neck though, so look out for a green parrot that likes to sit above everyone! They have several other shows/demonstrations with a lot of crocodiles, snakes, chimpansees, porcupine, even a guinea pig and more. They explain a lot about the natural fauna from Gran Canaria, the animal smuggling in the past and the rescued animals in the park. The staff was great and seemed to have a good bond with the animals ❤️Definitely recommended if you're visiting Gran Canaria!

It’s a rescue centre with a big variety of animals not only crocodiles. We’ve seen snakes, monkeys, lemurs, parrots, ducks, chickens, lamas, deers, tortoises, iguana and more.Very nice place to spend some time with kids if you have any.In the park it’s a little bit windy but the weather was still very nice. The bar on the park had some good choices and I drank a very nice and refreshing berry kiss smoothie, it was 10/10.On the last part of the park you can buy food to feed the animals and interact with them. The only thing we didn’t like was the fact that we didn’t see the tiger, the cage was empty. And on the get your guide reviews it showed pictures of people interacting with baby crocodiles and that didn’t happen also but maybe because we went on a Sunday, besides that it’s a very nice park.
Lovely little park just to break up your day during holiday. Easy to drive to, free car park. Thickets cost 10€ but you know I don't mind to pay because all of this animals has been rescued. Nice and clean place kept pretty well. I'm recommending because it does help to the animals if people visiting.

This animal rescue centre was definitely worth visiting. The entrance fee is very reasonable and you are helping to support their rescue work and care of the animals. They are very clear they are not a zoo. 😁😁

I was not too sure what to expect here but this is a brilliant little place providing security and a nurturing environment to rescue and seized crocodiles, tigers, reptiles and more. The staff are knowledgable and very friendly. You can even walk through the bird enclosure at certain times. A highlight was feeding time for the crocs! If anything it would be nice to read a little more information about where the animals came from but overall a reasonably priced and well worth trip out to see.

Amazing place! You can see how the employees truly care about the animals there. Important to know is that this isn't a regular animal park, but a sanctuary for rescued animals. You do get information about all of them and I do think especially if you're with kids, it's a great place to visit. The entrance fee is fair and considering that you help the animals, it's a reason more to visit. The toilets are nice and clean. There's a little restaurant inside, with simple, but good meals.

Interesting place with many animals, who were rescued or seized by authorities. Very informative for kids and adults as well. There were many opportunities to get closer to the animals while they were fed and the staff told stories about them in Spanish, German and English

Small park, cheap park, good to enjoy yourself during a tour around the island. The amount of crocs is huge. During the day there are multiple feeding moments so you can see the strenght of these animals. If you take your time it will take you 2 hours to get trough the park.
