Krokodillepark Gran Canaria

Denne lille familiedrevne krokodillepark Zoo på Gran Canaria – Cocodrilo Park – er en af de aktiviteter, som du skal gøre mindst én gang, når du er på ferie på Gran Canaria. Parken ligger inde i landet fra Aguimes, og du kan kombinere besøget med en tur rundt på Gran Canaria. Indgangsprisen er lav, og du kan besøge hele parken på et par timer.

Crodile Park startede som et redningscenter for dyr

Parken begyndte som et redningscenter for dyr og udviklede sig senere til denne zoologiske have. Hovedfokus er på krokodiller, som navnet på parken også siger, men der er også mange andre dyr, hvoraf de fleste er redningsdyr eller dyr fra forskellige zoologiske haver, som ikke har plads til dem længere.

Det er vigtigt at vide, at dette ikke er en almindelig dyrepark, men et fristed for redningsdyr. Du får oplysninger om dem alle, og vi synes, at det er et fantastisk lærerigt sted at besøge, især hvis du er sammen med børn. Man kan se, at de ansatte virkelig holder af dyrene.

Shows og andre faciliteter

Der er flere daglige krokodil- og papegøjeshows, som du ikke bør gå glip af, mens du er der. Du skal nok bruge mindst 2-3 timer til at se det hele. Mange mennesker nyder også at gå en tur gennem kaktusparken. Der er en hyggelig lille restaurant indenfor, med enkle, men gode retter. Der er også en lille souvenirbutik. Og badeværelserne er pæne og rene.

Åbningstider

I skrivende stund i 2022 er parken kun åben tre dage om ugen fra fredag til søndag. Hvis du ligesom os bor her, tager du sikkert af sted mindst en eller to gange om året, som regel når venner eller familie er på besøg på øen. Det er en virkelig fredfyldt oplevelse at se på dyrene i denne lille hyggelige og velholdte park.

Lovely little park just to break up your day during holiday. Easy to drive to, free car park. Thickets cost 10€ but you know I don't mind to pay because all of this animals has been rescued. Nice and clean place kept pretty well. I'm recommending because it does help to the animals if people visiting.

This animal rescue centre was definitely worth visiting. The entrance fee is very reasonable and you are helping to support their rescue work and care of the animals. They are very clear they are not a zoo. 😁😁

I was not too sure what to expect here but this is a brilliant little place providing security and a nurturing environment to rescue and seized crocodiles, tigers, reptiles and more. The staff are knowledgable and very friendly. You can even walk through the bird enclosure at certain times. A highlight was feeding time for the crocs! If anything it would be nice to read a little more information about where the animals came from but overall a reasonably priced and well worth trip out to see.

Amazing place! You can see how the employees truly care about the animals there. Important to know is that this isn't a regular animal park, but a sanctuary for rescued animals.You do get information about all of them and I do think especially if you're with kids, it's a great place to visit. The entrance fee is fair and considering that you help the animals, it's a reason more to visit.The toilets are nice and clean. There's a little restaurant inside, with simple, but good meals.

Interesting place with many animals, who were rescued or seized by authorities. Very informative for kids and adults as well. There were many opportunities to get closer to the animals while they were fed and the staff told stories about them in Spanish, German and English

Small park, cheap park, good to enjoy yourself during a tour around the island. The amount of crocs is huge. During the day there are multiple feeding moments so you can see the strenght of these animals.If you take your time it will take you 2 hours to get trough the park.
