If I could give this hotel 20 stars I would do so. My husband and I arrived at Marina Suites on 5th October, 2023 which was our 55th wedding anniversary. We had first stayed at the hotel in February, 2023 and were so pleased with it we immediately re-booked for October. Unfortunately, 6 days into our holiday, my husband suffered kidney failure and had to be ambulanced to St. Roque Hospital in Maspalomas where he spent the next 15 days before returning to the hotel until he was well enough to obtain a fit to fly certificate. The reception staff were wonderful and exceptionally kind extending my stay in the hotel several times and keeping the room changes to an absolute minimum during a very busy period in their calendar. No matter who was on duty we were met with great kindness and sympathy, making what was a very stressful time, much more bearable. Lovely hotel, great location, would highly recommend.

We loved the place, especially the infinity pool by the ocean and our well equipped suite.Breakfast was tasty and diverse, the location close to the harbour and boat tours, supermarket and lots of restaurants. We'll be back.

3rd time staying at Marina Suites, and it has never disappointed. Excellent facilities, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Breakfast is great and has so much choice, pool is amazing, rooms are spacious and comfortable and spotless. We will be back for visit number 4 in a couple of years.

It was our second time visiting marina suites, we first visited over 7 years ago and we absolutely loved it, we always said we wanted to return however it was only until this year we finally did, it was everything and more again, a lovely view over the marina that can’t be missed on the balcony, we would often find ourselves sitting outside watching the world go by, the staff are absolutely brilliant, the hotel rooms are big and spacious, they are starting to date now but I wouldn’t be put off by it as they are still a pleasure to be in (not that a lot of time is spent in your room). There is a lovely beach near by with food however they’re is also a larger shopping square with your generic shops and lots of food and bars along with a now new shopping centre which is brilliant for shopping & also has restaurants should you fancy it.Cleaners are fantastic and always smiling! A credit to the hotel along with the other staff!Overall it’s a great place to relax and well, we will be back!

We had a PERFECT stay at Marina Suites.Staff was so very friendly, not just the people at the front desk but ALL the people who work there are friendly!Rooms are big and with a view over the marina there is always something to see. We loved seeing the boats go in and out of the marina in the morning/evening. The rooms are cleaned every day and if you want you can even get clean towels every day. I dont think I have ever been in a cleaner place than this one!Perfect location to go to the beach or go out for a meal. The big shopping center is (for us) in walking distance too.Magnificent infinity pool with a great view over the ocean. We used the breakfast buffet twice and we were sorry we couldnt eat more because there was so much to choose from!! And it was all good!We were here in 2018 and always dreamt of coming back.......very lucky to be here again last week and now dreaming of another chance to come back in the future! Thanks to all the people at Marina Suites for making our stay just perfect!

Just back from our two week stay. What can I say, words do not really do this place justice. Memories created for a lifetime for me and my family, perfect hotel in all aspects. Staff so happy to be there, pool amazing, room massive, views beautiful from everywhere. We are booking again for next year, this is the only place we have ever said we would come back to as we like to travel around. Do not hesitate to book, what you see advertised is what you get and so much more. Thank you marina suites. *Update have just booked again for next year.

Staff are fab. Food is lovely. Really clean. Big pool. Good entertainment. Fair sized room. No air con thought had to hire a unit and only offered on asking. Free bus to beach. Many day trips on offer from the hotel. Couldn't swim early morning due to idiots queuing for sunbeds... although there's plenty left xxx

What a great hotel! We hoped the marketing images represented the place correctly and indeed they do!We had opted for a Select Suite on the higher floors, as we needed a bit more room. It didn't disappoint. Plenty of space for a family of four, with a large living area and separate large bedroom. Nicely decorated in nautical themed colours, comfy beds and perfectly clean. We had a view over the marina, which some reviews pointed out was a working harbour with all that comes with. Yes, they were cleaning yachts and the "party boats" depart throughout the day, but we were never disturbed and the sight of huge catamaran masts going by was kind of nice. The hotel facilities were great. The pool side bar and restaurant had a good range of food and drink, plus was a nice escape from the near 40c heat when we were there. The staff were really nice. Always friendly and helpful, especially the lifeguard, as he kept order around the pool but in a polite manner. It's an amazing infinity pool overlooking the sea crashing against the rocks. The hotel doesn't tolerate "bed blocking" at all, so you don't get the rush hour at 8am throwing towels down, then going back to bed. Yes, you can join a little queue to grab the best spot, but if you disappear for more than 45 mins, the guard removed your towels, which was totally fair and resulted in a great pool experience. If you needed a lounger, he'd keep a close eye for people leaving and give you a shout while you enjoyed the pool. It's a family pool, so no giant inflatables are allowed (small ones are OK for the smaller kids), plus they keep the water polo chaos to a minimum if it gets too competitive, so all ages can use it well together. If its "lads on tour", this place isn't for you.Breakfast buffet had all you needed, from healthy options of fruit, meats, breads, freshly made omlettes to your taste, to the fry up selection.Access to the local shops was only a 5 minute walk to the Hiper Dino, which had everything you'll need. The kitchen in the room was equipped with more than we needed, but with fridge/freezer, hob, microwave, kettle toaster, plus all the pans, etc you could do full self catering easily. Access to the restaurants meant apart from the occasional snack our kitchen wasn't used that much, but everything was there when we needed it.Bars and restaurants are a short walk around the marina, or up the road to Mogán Mall, a modern shopping / entertainment centre. Great selection of restaurants and none disappointed. Great food, well priced in a great atmosphere.Overall Marine Suites ticked all the boxes. We were gutted to leave, but will be back.

The most perfect location in Puerto Rico. Close enough to walk to the hustle and bustle but far enough out to have silence at night. The pool is amazing and lovely views during breakfast T the pool bar. Lovely views over the marina from our balcony

Best hotel in Puerto Rico with a small strip of restaurants and bars just round the corner.Buffet breakfast was great. Pick up service from the airport was also very good.Just be prepared to queue at daft o’clock for a sunbed or go in the afternoon around 2pm and there’s plenty available.

We had a lovely stay with our teenage daughter on the 7th floor. Large room with a lovely view. Very clean and tidy. Comfy bed. Live that it was a couple of minutes from the beach and the noise. Breakfast had everything we needed. The entire staff of the hotel were so friendly and helpful. We definitely recommend Marina Suites ✨🙂

Stayed here staying the end of June and upgraded to the Deluxe room on floor 8 which is the room they used for the promotional video. The suite was amazing and very spacious, we loved the large bedroom with super king-size bed including a 32" television as we did the bathroom with roll top bath and seperate shower cubicle. Both the bathroom and the bedroom had large windows which slide open with views of the marina and late evening sun.The main room had a large sofa with another large television, 4 port holes which open in the corner, a marble breakfast bar with stools, kitchen including microwave/oven and usual amenities. A large sliding door leading onto the balcony with amazing views of the sea and the marina, which also included 2 chill out chairs and a marble table with 4 chairs to enjoy eating out on the balcony taking in the views. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as its buffet style and this was the main reason we didn't stay all inclusive anywhere else like we normally would, as prefer waited on food we actually want to eat. Would definitely go self catering again, as going out for breakfast at places like the nearby Irish bar or beach front restaurants like Golden Beach was really good,, as well as going out in the evening for meals at places like Vivaldi which we highly recommend and J&J grill on the other side of the marina were both great venues and hidden gems out of the way. There's a local supermarket next to the Irish bar close by (5 min walk) and the hotel provides a shopping trolley which we used every visit, also a spar on the beachfront a short stroll away which does fresh pastries etc and has a great choice. The hotel had an amazing infinity pool with plenty of sun beds and 6 day beds, it also had a great pool bar and restaurant which served nice lunchtime food... however we had a negative experience as the hotels policy is you can't reserve sun beds which is totally understandable, but they also state which we found out afterwards that if you're away from the bed for 45 minutes then your stuff will be removed. This means though you can't go for lunch in your room or out of the hotel as it can take with pushchair 10-15 minutes each way to access your room via lift as they take a while at times, so giving the fact it may take nearly 30 minutes to travel to your room and back or a nearby restaurant, you'd only have 15 minutes to eat.On one particular day even though there were spare beds, another resident decided she wanted our bed and complained to the pool attendant we'd not been on our bed for over an hour and subsequently our stuff was removed which seemed a bit unfair,,, but the biggest complaint was that our stuff which included iPads, baby food etc was dumped on the floor (rather than a nearby empty sun bed) in a pile where there were many ants and by the resident and not the hotel staff which shouldn't be allowed. ONLY the staff i feel should be able to do this as stuff could get damaged or stolen if interfered with by another resident and could get very messy. Also this policy was not enforced especially on the best beds around the pool and only seemed to be if someone complained and wanted a particular bed! Also the hotel had a bar and restaurant and we hoped to use these more often but they are privately operated and on the Saturday evening there was a private event on which was not publisized and meant we were unable to use the bar or restaurant all night. Also they are closed on a Monday evening so that was 2 nights with no facilities at the hotel to use which was unfortunately, as we had a baby with us so planned on using the bar more often in the evening.I must say our 1st cleaner Fifi deserves a mention as she cleaned our room brilliantly and even washed up everyday anything we left on the bowl which was a nice touch and greatly appreciated.Overall i would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the Marina Suites as we loved the room and the pool area, shame there were a couple of negatives regarding the sunbed use and the bar and restaurant facilities.

We absolutely loved our stay in Marina Suites. We stayed in Marina Bayview last year so wanted to try Marina Suites this year. The facilities are fantastic and the hotel is so clean. Our room was lovely with a pool facing balcony. Everything about the hotel and service was perfect, if I had to pick some negatives; it can be quite noisy from the bedroom as people walk by and talk outside your room. There is also music playing throughout the hotel which can be heard from the bedroom also. Also, we rented a car but had to park 10mins away as the carpark outside the hotel is private and does not belong to the hotel. However, I am aware that they are working on this.Myself and my boyfriend throughly enjoyed our stay in Marina Suites and would most definitely stay again!Alva & Jack 🙂

Had a lovely time. Staff brilliant. FriendlyQuick to help you. Food bar great value. And food in downstairs bar great, but more expensive. But the hotel is right next to a ship yard, were they regularly jet wash large boats. The sound is deafening. If around pool, people were complaining of noise. It went on and on and on. Spoilt a lovely day around pool. Wakes you up in morning. Won't go to this hotel again. Which is a shame x

Loved this hotel. We were on the 9th floor which had amazing views over the Marina and the beach behind that. Apartment was huge, very well equipped, although would have benefited from some drawers in the bedroom for underwear and loose items etc, clothes hangers were on the wall uncovered which looked a little messy but not a huge problem.Rooms cleaned daily. All staff were great, very friendly, genuinely helpful and seemed to enjoy working there. Pool was fantastic, heated, with lovely views. Pool area was busy but there was a secluded garden for over 18s with sunbeds and two hot tubs which was spacious and much quieter. Hotel was well located for multiple bars and restaurants around the marina and beach and also there was a small complex with restaurants and a small supermarket under the tunnel near the hotel.Pool bar was reasonably priced and the food was excellent quality. €4.40 for a large lager which was maybe pricier than some of the local bars but cheaper than others and comparatively good value compared to other hotel bars. There were also special offers on different days with different themes. We were room only but offered one complimentary breakfast which was served till 11am and was a buffet with a good variety of hot and cold food and drinks. We paid for another breakfast during our stay for €15pp, but were advised if we booked breakfast for the whole week it would be €12 pp. Would most definitely return.

this place was amazing. the staff were all so friendly, rooms were so clean and its an amazing quiet areathere was a bit of a miscommunication regarding a hotel transfer, but Dyron and Federica were very nice and helpful in this matter and managed to resolve it for us. if you have to checkout early there is a luggage room to store your stuff so you can still explore the area after.if i ever visit again i would stay in this hotel it was amazing.

We really enjoyed our stay at Marina Suites. Family of 4 with 6 and 7 year old children. The service was fantastic right from the welcome drink. The pool area with infinity pool and pool bar is 5 star and really made our holiday. The only thing that lets it down is that our room was a bit tired. The sofa bed isn't a sofa bed; it's a sofa with single camp bed next to it. The adult area also doesn't seem to work as we didn't see anybody in it the whole week. The hot tubs in there aren't actually that hot, which I think is probably the problem. Puerto Rico itself is also a bit dated, although there's plenty to do to keep a family busy for a week. All in all, it was a very enjoyable stay.

Fab location by the marina on the periphery of Puerto Rico which is a lovely spot - shops and restaurants 5/10 minute walk.Hotel Staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had a premier suite which was very spacious and well equipped and clean and modern. Daily housekeeping. It’s very well designed with all rooms having marina or sea view and the Pool area and infinity pool look out to sea which is a lovely unspoilt view.We didn’t eat in at all so can’t comment on food. Would definitely go back.

We stayed two nights at Marina Suites Hotel and could truly enjoy our stay there. They had a quiet child free area with jacuzzi and sunbeds , allowing us to retreat and relax. The staff was really great, welcoming us and tending to our dietary needs (vegan). And personally I appreciated all the work they've done and are doing around sustainability with upcycled furnitures, no single-use plastics and much more! The location was perfect. Walking distance from the beach and beach walk, and lots of great restaurants. I particularly enjoyed the long walk (about 1.5km) along the edge of the mountains connecting to the other beaches.

Marina Suites appealed to me straight away because of its location near the port, as soon as I arrived I knew I was going to have a good time. What I liked was their actions to be as sustainable as possible, they use as little plastic and energy as possible, they have a zero waste policy and work with local products. Regarding the rooms, the view from the terrace is beautiful and also the bed is very comfortable, I slept very well. My favourite place, apart from the infinity pool, is the 18+ area where there is a jacuzzi and you can relax for a while. Thank you Marina Suites for an unforgettable stay!

Breakfast is not good worst buffet I have had and yet lunch was excellent. I was not impressed with the room shower was in the bath ( no option or mention of this online when booking ) some of the furniture in the room was out dated and in need of replacement which I pointed out to reception but this was "passed " on to maintenance! No hotel bar at night just a restaurant/ bar that is leased out and closes at 11 !!! Overall very very disappointed especially for the price I paid. Hotel is in a fine location with an amazing pool. Staff are nice.

Just had 10 nights in room 501, I would strongly recommend the rooms overlooking the pool/sea as the views are lovely and sun is not blasting into the room on an afternoon. We complained about the air con several times as we could not get the room to below 22 Deg! This was never addressed as it was working correctly, I suppose it's not an issue with the new Spanish rules from 2023 that stop anyone cooling a room to below 27 Deg!! Service was good, food in the pool restaurant was ok but expensive for the quality received. We liked the restaurant just around the corner for a lunchtime snack/drink where beer was €2 instead of €5.60 in the hotel. And burgers were better quality and less than 1/2 the price too.Sunbeds were pain in the backside, we were a group of 10 so had to get down before 7:30 to queue up for themWe made a point of all going down and staying on them, many people would send a proxy down to grab the beds and then not appear for hours, naughty really as by 9:30 there were none left and some people were laying on towels on the concrete floor whilst sunbeds were all reserved. The hotel have a policy of removing towels if sunbeds are not used for 45 minutes. That's simply not true.Hotel was kept spotlessly clean and staff were very friendly and polite. In summary I would definitely return but not for a few years.

I would happily visit this hotel again. My favourite part was the entertainment host Gabriel, he's absolutely fantastic at what he does, usually I would be too shy to get involved in anything but it was certainly the opposite. Only thing I would mention is service can be a bit slow in the restaurant, we were waiting quite a while, but the food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. I'd defintely recommend anyone visiting Gran Canaria to stay here.

We came for a family holiday early April 22 for my husbands 40th birthday. We booked and paid for a suite, hoping we would be on the top floor, unfortunately we were only on the 5th floor. Our family members paid for a standard room and they were on the 8th floor, slightly bizarre but nether the less, we still had gorgeous views of the harbour and the pool and the sea and our room was amazing. The hotel was lovely, very clean, very well looked after. The pool was absolutely stunning, albeit slightly small to cater for the amount of children in it.We generally ventured into to the adult only area in the afternoons as the wind was barely felt in there and much quieter. All but one member of staff was friendly, I had an encounter with a woman on reception whom when I approached to say my room kept wasn't working, was incredibly rude, told.me it was because I had my card near my phone

Booked directly with hotel for five nights. Good communication, love decor and use of up cycling furniture. The extra bed for child was a bonus. Clean and spacious, good kitchen and great space on balcony. The room fixtures were a little tired and could do a lick of fresh paint. But breakfast was a treat, always fresh and generous. The dinning area is great with the best view of the infinite pool and ocean. Friendly service! Go!

We're sat here, overlooking the sun-soaked pool and the beautiful sea, watching ships past as we enjoy our final lunch before leaving. What a holiday it has been.We overheard a young boy saying "this is the cleanest pool I've ever been in" and we couldn't agree more. The pool, and everything else in the hotel, is absolutely spotless. This is down to their dedicated staff who literally live to serve. In particular, we want to mention Ivan, Tony, Sheila, Aranxa and Alina who made our stay particularly special by having laughs with us and making us feel spoiled with free drinks and meals - thanks so much to you guys and to the rest of your team!In terms of COVID measures, the staff were always, without exception, wearing masks, there are plenty of hand sanitising stations around the hotel and one way systems where necessary. The food and drinks have been incredible; we found them to be very reasonably priced and everything seemed to be made fresh to order. The dining areas are very spacious and the decor is lovely. The BBQ and Entertainment nights were both great.A tip: go and enjoy the hot tubs in the adults area (which seem to always be free) as the sun starts to go down!Thank you very much for an outstanding holiday.

We booked through TUIWe are a returning family who have had a lovely stay . The staff are fantastic and the cleaning staff are amazing. I congratulate you all on continuing through the covid crisis. But I do have a very bad feeling with my stay this time.We were a group of 3 family bookings and we requested a harbour view high floor as we had stayed in these rooms before and with my first grandchild of 6mths we knew that we would be spending lots of evenings on the balcony with baby asleep. When we arrived we were on floor 3 room 322 with no sun and not a great view with a tree in front and wall to the left. We ask if we could move when a room became available but was told no as rooms would have been requested (although we also had put a request in)We are also understanding so we could wait for a different room if it became available but was told no as the hotel was too busy!! Although the hotel was not as busy as previous stays. So to upgrade to a better room would be 20euros a night and this was reduced to 10 euros a night so 130 euros on top of over 2k already paid. The new room was exactly the same as the room we left but had a great views and lovely sunsets and we spent lots of time on the balcony when the baby had gone to sleep.I feel that we had to pay extra for something we had had before .Therefore we regret that we will not be returning again .

We've been here several times and this Covid affected visit is the strangest. Rooms are still as comfortable as expected, breakfast is okay but fairly limited, lunch and dinner can be requested if needed but there are plenty of restaurants around that need the trade.Grabbing a sunbed is a real battle with queues of people waiting with towels ready to pounce once the doors are opened to the pool area. Many, many beds have been removed due to social distancing so it is a real bunfight. You'll need strong elbows and feet for kicking those that push in. People's behaviour really changes once they smell blood! Masks must be worn virtually everywhere so bring plenty.Carrying on, staff are superb and, as we're regulars we see familiar faces including Tony and Nico. We miss the entertainment around the pool during the day but especially the evenings. Dinner round the pool was always great and tomorrow we try out El Puerto, the new restaurant at the front of the hotel. It used to be very hot there but October should be fine.

Just returned from wonderful stay at Marina Suites. Room was clean and spacious, lovely views from 4th floor overlooking marina. Breakfast was ample and pool was bliss. Only negative was people reserving beds by 8.45am. Would return again

Beautiful suite, staff so attentive, spotlessly clean, I would of loved to of given a 5 star but the food in the restaurant is not suitable for a vegetarian, please add pasta dishes, the world has changed and you need to move with the times, nearly every option is meat.

Great hotel located where it is flat, by the port in Puerto Rico. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean with spacious apartments. The infinity pool is very nice. If you have hired a car, the parking is free for 45 mins, then you have to start paying.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. The pool area is one of the best in the world for view and seats etc just fantastic and the location to the beach is a 6min walk. Lots of bars etc nearby. Everything you'd want. I wish they did table service at the pool but there is never a queue. Its a fantastic spot and the rooms with balcony overlooking pool are just sensational

We were a group of 7 staying in 3 suites for a week in this property and found the suites very modern and clean. The hotel was very clean and staff kindly enforced a strict Covid policy for the safety of everyone. The hotel is very well located within the Marina and a short walk from the beach. We also hired a car but that had an extra expense for the Marina car park. It turned out that we didn't really need it as everything is in close proximity and taxi's are not that expensive. We certainly look forward to returning.

Amazing day pass, beautiful amenities and wonderful staff. We had lunch at the pool bar and, although the staff was doing an excellent job, we think it was understaff for peak hours with only two employees for for all the tables both inside and outside + bar. However, congrats to the great team you had there today, fast and always with a smile and friendly.

Fabulous hotel/apartments. The apartments are spacious, large bedroom with plenty of wardrobe space, good bathroom with shower over the bath. Very good kitchen/lounge and balcony.Reason for 4 star...the majority of the rooms get strong evening sun. Ask for a room overlooking the pool if you want to avoid the sun. Also ...they insist on playing boom boom boom music by the pool. Great if you are under 30, it just got on my nerves. Sorry, I'm an old git!Great breakfast as well.

Just coming to the end of a week at Marina Suites and I have to say it is superb! All the staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and very clean with fantastic views over the harbour and sea. The breakfast is buffet style with lots of choice. A beautiful infinity pool over looking the coast tops it off. Would definitely recommend. We'll done Marina Suites 😊
