This was more than just a lunch, it was a whole experience! So so happy that we came here. Food was delicious, portions big and the price, crazy cheap! I loved walking around the cactus gardens and meeting all the animals! Service was friendly and the atmosphere was so relaxed! Tranquillo 😎I will say, don’t come here for a quick lunch as the food takes a while to come out but this didn’t take away from the experience at all. Will definitely visit again if I come back to Gran Canaria!

Loved this local spot. Waitress Maria took very good care of us. There's a lot of sweet animals walking around and after dinner you can have walk around the cactus garden and meet even more animals

Such a nice restaurant with a cactus garden and lot of animals 🥰🥰 staff was super kind, price are cheap, plates are big and with good quality. It's really relaxing to eat there and then have a walk around the garden

We have just returned home from a 3.5 hour evening here. The three of us had a main each (1 vegan with croquettes and tofu, 1 chicken and fries, 1 pork and potatoes) and what might be 10 very large rum and cokes, a few beers and maybe 4 cokes. As we're all English and used to London pricing, the bill being €91 just blew us away.The waiter who's name we sadly did not ask for was superb all evening, very playful and kind. Our vegan friend was really really happy with her meal as we're we and we all had a fantastic evening. The servings were also plentiful.You've got the cactus garden and then the various animals. Several cats, a dog, peacock, chickens, pig, goats, guinea pigs, some other birds all just roaming around. I sat quite happily with one of the cats on my lap for 20 minutes after he decided I was the place to be entirely of his own accord.We shall be returning at least once more before we head off home.Go here. I cannot imagine being disappointed. Also remember it's cash only.

best restaurant around the town, super cute animals, the best cactus garden. definitely recommend. the food is amazing and you get authentic, good quality food. very nice plates. friendly people who work there. hope we can come back one day.

Beautiful local place, perfect for a chill day. We had a huge natural orange juice for 4.5€. The food looked amazing too. There are cats, a dog and a chicken walking around the premises. Be sure to have cash.

Made a late night stop at this wonderful quaint restaurant. The staff were truly amazing. There was a whole vegetarian/vegan menu which is amazing as we are vegan and this is hard to come by. Honestly the best food we have had in Gran Canaria. All homemade with beautiful presentation. Comes with pet chicken that roams around and sits at the bar! We loved it!

The hostel that belongs to the restaurant is a total mess! Very dirty. The bathroom and kitchen are horrible. I’ve been to many hostels before but this one was the worst by far. The bathroom is shared with the restaurant and is not clean at all. Only a very thin blanket and it was cold in the rooms. Not even sure if they’ve washed the sheets. Would nobody recommend to visit this place

Super authentisches Restaurant mit anliegenden Kaktusgarten (freier Eintritt). Die Tapasplatte für 2 Personen und das Aioli waren sehr köstlich und der Service freundlich. Das ganze zu fairen Preisen. Für eine Einkehr nur zu empfehlen.

Distended and relaxed atmosphere, close and humble attention. They warned us that the dishes were big and loaded, we ordered the TAPAS MENU. Something different because it fuses food with fruit, and everything was very tasty. We are left wanting to try the natural juices.

We had a delicious and hearty lunch today. Everything was fine, we also fed hens, cats and goats, the goat kids are cute. Thank you for the friendly hospitality !!

we decided to stop after seing the cute signs and cactuses, for a bite to eat.. It ended up being such a good decision!! They had a whole vegetarian menu (which is perfect because me and my boyfriend are vegetarians), they had lots of animals running around, the cat sat on my lap while I was having my coffee and after the delicious salad with lots of fruits we went for a walk in the small cactus garden, where they also had baby goats!!🥺🤍 one of my favourite days ever ✨✨

Cool spot that is definitely worth a visit. For me it was not just a quick lunch it was also a show 🤣 goats, peacocks, pigs and chickens walk around next to you and the cactus garden 👍

The food was fantastic and the atmosphere very chilled and relaxed. Waitress is very kind and helpful. Locals sitting at the restaurant made my day, so smiling and welcoming 😊 I will definitely come back and I highly recommend Restaurante La Gañana 🙂

Das restaurante El Albercon gehört einem deutschen. Zum essen kann ich nichts sagen. Wir hatten einem frischgepresten saft dieser war sehr lecker aber für 3.50€ schon recht teuer. Was uns aber sehr gut gefallen hat war der mit liebe angelegte ausergewöhnliche kakteen garten. Besonders toll an zu sehen waren die freundlichen freilaufenden tiere des besitzers. 1 pfau und eine ziege sowie ein schwein und bestimmt 10 katzen desweiteren habe ich ein huhn herumsoatzieren sehen.

1 hour and 30min waiting for the food, the restaurant is empty, the food is not bad but they do not bring what you ask for, they offered us a barbecue and did not give a cutlet, a frankfurter and a variety of vegetables, supposedly for two people, in addition to Cats trying to climb to the table looking for food I counted about 4, prices out of place.

If you are looking for a tourist or posh restaurant, avoid! Here you are breathing and eating in very typical canarian restaurant. Open air with little zoo and very sweet animals around you 😍

Beautiful place, with animals, vegetation and fruit in sight. The BRUTAL house salad, made with great care and many ingredients (all you can imagine). The Canarian style pork is very tasty and the presentation is very careful. Very friendly staff. Unbeatable price.

We loved everything about this restaurant!
After visiting the Cactualdea (big recommendation) we felt a little hungry and by accident we found this lovely little restaurant. A cat and a chicken kept us a company while we were waiting for our food. Then two goats came. Than a dog. A bunch of chickens and a goose 😄 We loved it! Then came the food. We ordered meat with fries.
It was amazing, and the portions are huge! I really really recommend this awesome place! The staff is super friendly. We will definitely come again!
