A delightful collection of cacti and succulents. The site is spread over a hillside with plenty of paths to explore the plants. Many of the cacti are grouped together to enhance the display. There are clean toilets available, a small selection of gifts and a bar/food stop. Keep an eye out for the water pump and the donkey!

Surprisingly well maintained park. Lots of cool cacti and trees. A very pleasant place to spend an hour or so. Well with the price.

A great cactus park, probably millions of cactuses growing there. An entrance fee, but in my opinion worth the money. A few animals also live inside. Toilets and also a small restaurant inside. Free and big parking space. Nice to see at least once in a lifetime.

A great cactus park, probably millions of different cactuses growing there. An entrance fee, but in my opinion worth the money. A few animals also love inside. Toilets and also a small restaurant inside. Free and big parking space. Nice to see at least once in a lifetime.

This cactus farm/exhibition is worth the visit. Its nice to walk around and see all the species of different cactus! People have a picture of an avarage cactus 🌵, thinking that's it. But there is a lot if different varieties! Spent about an hour, learned something new, saw something interesting. Few years back we went to the cactus farm on the other island of Lanzarote, to be honest I enjoyed that one better, but this one is definitely bigger! Here are some pictures and a video to have an idea.

It's a nice place to wander around and look at the cacti, of which there are loads, and a few other exhibits relating to local life. You need to be steady on your feet and wearing suitable shoes or boots to get the most out of the place. When you get into the garden there are some quite steep gradients and the surfaces although stable are uneven. You can also go off the main path onto some gravel paths which get you very close to the cacti but these paths can be slippery under foot and if you slip you'll land on something very spiky indeed - the cacti are quite densely packed in places. It's not baby buggy, wheelchair or mobility scooter friendly in the main garden.

I loved that place! Besides cacti, there's one donkey, a peacock, bunch of chickens and lovely muscovy ducks. You can buy corn to feed all those animals, price is very good for the quality you get. Those ducks are amazing. When I was feeding them, one duck waddled away for a moment and he came back with 2 smaller ducks, it looked like he brought them with him so they can eat too 😭😍 My heart melted! I'm gonna miss them, honestly. Also, I highly recommend drinks there, cold mango juice (more like smoothie) was everything I needed during this heatwave.

A good experience in this park, where we saw a multitude of cactus types!🌵🏜️There is a bar where you can drink fresh with local fruits and enjoy the day in this quiet place. We recommended to see this wonderful place. The road is very spectacular till this location. We met Mariana, who is of Romanian origin and enjoyed the nice discussion with someone from our country about the Canarians life!

Very beatiful garden, a lot of different, interesting plants. There are also some animals which you can feed. We really enjoyed the walk there, although it was very hot in the afternoon there.

Beautiful cactus garden. Canarian spirit. We enjoyed local fruits and cactus drinks in the cafe. Friendly welcome. The children really enjoyed feeding the park animals. We spent half a day here. Really liked it.

Definitely worth a visit, the entry prices are down to earth and as the other reviews are telling, there's a large parking place and it is free. You can find several types of cacti here (as it is written more than a 1000) there are even ones that are so high as many Palm trees. The animals were really adorable there was plenty of space for them. This walk in the park had us feel like we were invited by someone rich to enjoy this mansion. Really recommend a visit.

Amaxing park, every different angle has a different view. Colorful cactus, palm tres, pretty chickens, lovely donkey and beautiful peacock. It's not hot or shining now, really chill. My friend said she can stay here for a dayεꉂ(ˊᗜˋ*)

Beautiful and quite huge cactus garden in a beautiful setting between the mountain ranges. Didn't come up on our recommendations for southern Gran Canaria visits but definitely worth a visit!

Beautiful place, we had good time here. Money well spent - place is kept in really good condition. Also you can eat and drink here, short menu but prepared fresh on place - be alerted it’s rather slow food, but worth waiting. We had the simplest potatoes I would never order if I understood what it’s about but it would be a shame not to - it was delicious. Also there are chicken and ducks roaming around so can be additional perks for your children.

We loved it here as lots to see in a valley overlooking stunning mountains. Retired people entrance fee 5 euros so good value. If you thought cacti are all green then you are in for a suprise. The cacti were many differents species, sizes, colours and some were in flower. Plenty of them were labelled. Their were caves, amphitheatre, fountains and a volcano. The cinema had a lovely film, in choice of 3 languages which was very informative about the history of cacti in the America's. Unfortunately the seating in to watch the film was down steps so difficult for those with mobility issues. The bulk of the cacti were amongst trees and palms over a large sloping area with rocky paths, so also not good if you cant walk well. They had donkeys, peacocks, ducks with ducklings, hens and cockerels. You could buy food to feed them for 1 euro. Their was a bar/restaurant and plenty of toilets. The car parking is on a slope and you can buy cacti at the entrance/exit.

I loved this park. There are such a variety and range of cacti, beautifully landscaped with a backdrop of mountains and ridges. It was a very tranquil and relaxing place. There were very few people when we visited, maybe off season. There are peacocks, ducks and cats roaming around the park as well. There is a Cafe/Bar where we enjoyed a cup of coffee with complimentary cakes.Very friendly and helpful staff.

Total worth the visit! It was an hour drive from our villa in Maspolomas. Bear in mind that the driving wasn’t easy to get there with lots of bends on the roads. The park is very chilled and very quiet. There are thousands of cacti here, if you like cactus, this is definitely the place for you!

🌵We must have come during the low season, where we pry much had the whole Cactus park to ourselves. Volcanic landscapes, towering cliffs, sand dunes, and now, cactuses? This island in Spain has everything.🍷We sipped on cactus juice (yes, you read that right) and enjoyed the beautiful view of the hilly ranges. It's a lovely place. Highly recommended. The staff are friendly.

This place was an unexpected and AMAZING find! I loved every part of it, from the lush forest of exotic and well-cared-for cacti to the parading peacocks, dazzling ducks, defiant donkeys and content cats. After a stroll through the facilities, don't forget to pop into the bar for a Cervesa and Prickly-Pear cactus smoothie. The perfect re-fuel to get back out into the succulents for continued exploration.Could happily spend an entire day (or two) here! LOVED IT!!

Well, first of all my boyfriend and I love cactus. We have been at the cactus park in lanzarote already, so we we're able to compare. Why do I think so low of this park? There are paths, we're you have to rather hike instead of walk. That is really bad with children. Sometimes the paths are narrow between the cactus. There are dead cactus, fallen cactus, damaged cactus. The park has a spooky feeling to it. You can hardly read any signs. The cactus have grown very mixed, so there is no pattern visible. We just wanted to go away from there.I'd rather go to the botanical garden. There you have good trails to walk.

We had so much fun at this park! The cacti (and other plants/trees) were just beautiful and there were so many different kinds. It was very amusing to feed the animals too, it was a nice little extra that added to the experience. And we loved the cactus-juice. So sweet and fresh. We will definitely come again. 😊

Could not entirely suggest this park. If you really love botanics and cacti then you should absolutely go, otherwise you can skip it for better places. My 3 stars are mainly due personal taste, I did not find the park really well maintained or interesting. There are no facts or explanations of the carious species so at the end you are just wondering around this garden watching weird cacti for 1 hour at the cost of 6 euro per person.Another thing I dislike is the fact that over the menu of the bar. There are no written prices, I really hate this kind of stuff as it should be mandatory to write down prices so we know what are we going to pay. Also be very careful to check your legs and other body parts during or after the visit as in the middle of the visit we found some kind of small ticks on our legs which were already trying to get under the skin.

Lovely place. The combination of friendly animals, beautiful cacti, and a nice area make it a wonderful place to visit. If you like to interact with animals I would highly recommend to buy a bag of animal food when you purchase the tickets at the entry, we enjoyed feeding the ducks, chickens and peacocks a lot. There are lots of different species of cacti from small to big with various forms and shapes to discover. All in all a clear recommendation to visit.

I'm from Ukraine and it was first visit to park with the cactuses. I need to mention that I'm not really into cactuses, but the experience in the park was amazing! It is so beautiful, they have animals there and delicious cocktail from cactus and banana! Maybe the park itself not really have a lot of attention and old dry herbs should be cleaned, but in general the part is big and atmosphere is wonderful. Definitely worth a visit! Really cool and the staff are nice.

I have never believed cactuses can be so wild and various and crazy. Definitely worth visiting the place if you like cactuses. The road from Maspalomas is quite long, almost 1 h drive on mountain road, but there are nice rainbow rocks on the way and a good restaurant before the rocks. 15 min drive from the park, if going to the nearest shore, there is a nice beach, quiet and protected from waves.

What an impressive collection of a broad variety of cacti! Really well maintained park, and a nice activity after a long hike or to have a change of pace from beach and pool. The roaming peafowl and chickens are also a funny addition!

Beautiful Park with a large variety of cactus from all over the world. It is a good walk, bring closed shoes. The entrance price with 6€ seemed a bit expensive at first, but it must cost a lot to keep these plants alive. The park has suffered from the pandemic, so it's time to go an support the owners to keep it alive!

Disappointing. Not the best garden to visit, very few information about plants, no map, no indication at all, at the entrance they take your money and leave you by yourself without any explanation. The botanical garden in Tafira is much bigger, well maintained and free! Do not hesitate...

What a great park! Well maintained, a lot to see. Huge, strange and beautiful cacti. There were no tourists when we visited the park in August 2021 so you have no waiting time at the moment and can make beautiful pictures.

One of the best parks I’ve ever been to. Really good people and even tho there were little tourists there, the park still looked great and offered so many different cactuses I didn’t even knew existed. It is fully worth the drive!!!

Looks very promising! We went along outside the closed park when we got lost during a hike, but the sophistication and the love the owners invested into the place seems overwhelming. We will definitely visit the park when it is open again.

I loved this place! Its amazing to walk around and explore at ease, you lose sense of time and the walk around becomes a meditation exercise in nature beauty, i loved it, very peaceful. The beginning may give the false impression that its not much to see, but the real beauty is in the open air garden that stretches behind, on the little hill, amazingly beautiful. It is indeed big and surprising, its so nice to see how many different species of cacti exist, some don't even look like a usual cactus we are used to. Nature is magnificent!i cant believe people in reviews here complain about the price being too expensive, 6 euros is a price of a coffee in Germany or UK.... they should be more grateful and appreciate the effort it takes to maintain such a big place. I am sad it does not have the reputation it deserves according to its beauty, diversity and peace it induces! A great discovery! They also have peacocks, ducks and chicken that follow you around waiting for their grains 🙂 feed them and have fun!

Just stroll around and enjoy the place. There is a magic fell to this place and if you like a bit of Canarian gardening, you will be inspired by all the different Cactus and the rustic touch this magic garden offers.
Highly recommended and definitely worth a visit if you should be in this nontouristic part of the Island.
