<\/div>As other reviews have said, the staff are absolutely the highlight of this hotel. Unfortunately there's a few things that let it down.Firstly, the air conditioning in some of the rooms are absolutely shocking. We left our spare key card in all day so the air con would stay on and it still didn't cool the room down. After speaking to some other guests this seems to be the same for the majority of rooms. We also came back to the room half way through our stay and the air con was making the room smell awful. We mentioned this to reception and it's a known issue. We found it colder outside with the doors open than using the air con (if you open the doors it automatically cuts off the air con).Secondly, the rules they have around the pools don't really make sense. In the main pool you're not allowed any inflatables, no toys, no balls etc. We had our small beach ball taken off us and the life guard told us the pool is for people to relax, not for playing games. But this is also the same pool the animation team uses for all the games like volleyball and water polo etc? Along with all the animation team diving in the pools splashing everyone and throwing kids about. Don't get me wrong, our kids loved playing with the animation team but they hated they couldn't take their own ball in or small inflatables. I understand lylos etc as they take up a lot of space. But things like a small ball to play catch in the water shouldn't be banned.This meant we spent most of our time in the slide pool where they do allow toys and inflatables, but it did mean we missed out on all the entertainment. This didn't just include the games in the pool, but they have the games along the pool like darts, Jenga, poker etc. There is zero entertainment at the pool with the slides. If the main pool is meant to be used for relaxing surely it makes sense to move the entertainment to the pool with slides? It blew my mind they do things like get a huge floating mat out for people to run across and dive in to the main pool but stop you even taking a ball in. After being told we couldn't use our beach ball I went into the on site shop and got a small ball the same size as a tennis ball yet still we got told we couldn't use it. The shop sells all sorts of inflatables and toys yet unless you're in the slide pool you can't use any of it.Those are the two main issues we had with the resort. That said, the staff are all very friendly, the animation team (the little time we spent with them) were great with the kids.The food is fine and there's a huge variety so someone can always find something. They have themed nights as well to mix things up so it's not too repetitive as well.The beach closest to the resort is all sand dunes which are roped off so you can't access them (they have security keeping an eye out). However, they offer a free bus service to a gorgeous beach about 5 minutes away by bus.Something we took advantage of that can be easily missed, you can opt out to have your room cleaned every day if you don't need it. If you choose to do this they give you some vouchers for premium drinks that aren't included in the all inclusive. Well worth doing if your room doesn't need a clean.There's plenty of drink options already in the all inclusive package but if you want to upgrade to cover all drinks it's 14 euros per person per day. We didn't find this necessary as we had enough options for us but some did choose to upgrade. It's worth noting though if you want to upgrade you have to do it as a room which means you have to upgrade the kids despite them not getting any additional options.Overall the hotel is \"fine\". It's just the little things that let it down. If the above isn't an issue for you then you'll have a great time. We just struggled to sleep in the heat, and we missed out on almost all the entertainment as we had to use the slide pools where they have zero entertainment.<\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div>

<\/div>We arrived on Sunday and overall had a great experience at this hotel. Initially, we weren\u2019t too happy with the room we were given, so we asked if any upgrades were available. The receptionist (I believe her name was Luna) was extremely helpful and checked availability for us. She explained that nothing was free that day but asked us to return the next day after check-out time.When we came back, she wasn\u2019t on shift, but she had already left detailed notes on our booking, which made everything seamless. The team then gave us keys to view two alternative rooms and choose what suited us best.The room we chose was excellent, a lovely open terrace with extended glass balcony views, plus a shower and jacuzzi, which really made the stay feel special. My partner and daughter were very happy with the upgrade.The reception team really stood out. Staff like Luna, Lydia, Tommy, and Oscar were all incredibly professional, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. They went above and beyond from recommending restaurants to helping with bookings and taxis.If I had my own hotel business, I would definitely hire all of the staff here. They are extremely professional and a real asset to the company. The management should be proud to have a team like this.Overall, a great stay with excellent service, and I would definitely recommend it.<\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div>

<\/div>The staff are the absolute selling point! From the reception staff, through the cleaning, restaurant staff, bartenders and most of all the animation team. The animation team does their absolute utmost and their efforts make the holiday and time very pleasant.The rooms are comfortable but dated. The beds are already out of shape and other facilities in the room can be renovated. Definitely the insulation must be improved as you can hear everything from outside.Food is a hit or a miss. Some dishes are absolutely delicious some are very mediocre. It really depends on the theme of the night for dinner per se. Dessert bar is subpar a 4 star hotel. The snack bars are all purely fast food, which is also very poor quality. The coffee is quite poor, unless you buy one, but the alcoholic drinks are good! Very rich choice for drinks, including cocktails made in person.<\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div>

<\/div>We stayed at Abora Catarina with my wife and our 22-month-old daughter and had a fantastic holiday from start to finish. We stayed in room 242, which was very spacious and perfect for a family. The room had a large terrace with a balcony and a whirlpool jacuzzi, which was a real highlight and great for relaxing.The location of the hotel is excellent. It\u2019s right next to the famous Maspalomas dunes and close to plenty of food options, supermarkets, and shopping centres, all within walking distance, which made getting around very easy.The food was very good throughout our stay, and we always found something tasty to enjoy. We were especially impressed with how quickly food was replenished, meaning everything was always fresh. The same applied to the snack bar \u2013 it was constantly being restocked, so the food was always hot and enjoyable.A special mention has to go to the animation team. They were excellent \u2013 always friendly, energetic, and particularly amazing with our young daughter. They spent time with her on many occasions, which really meant a lot to us as parents. They organised fun activities during the day and still managed to put on top-class shows in the evening. A big salute to the animation team for the fantastic job they do.We also really enjoyed the pool areas, and our daughter absolutely loved the splash park \u2013 it was definitely one of her favourite parts of the holiday.Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Abora Catarina and wouldn\u2019t hesitate to return. <\/div>This place is amazing! The rooms are good quality. The social areas are good.The negative part of this hotel is the food. It is very low quality buff\u00e8 food. Some times I wonder if they even know how to cook food. It\u2019s eatable but not very good.I recommend to go out and eat at least 2-3 days per week.The coffee is questionable it has a hi level of sugar in it, and it\u2019s very sweet.Positive is the unlimited supply of beer, wine and soda.The location is amazing. You have a walking distance to the fantastic beach. With beautiful views.I also recommend you rent a car and take a road trip around the island.<\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div>

The hotel is amazing with amazing staff, the minute we walked in Lidia.FA was so helpful and made it easy for us stay as my grandma came who is 89 years old and the hotel was perfect for the wheelchair and able to go everywhere in the hotel. We got upgraded to a Jacuzzi room which was the best and had a blast. The kids pool is cold and need maybe heated pool as this was the only thing we had an issue with and kids couldn\u2019t enjoy as much as weather was not that hot. But overall 10 out of 10 for food, service and room.Big shout to the following staff who were super helpful Tom P, Alberto and Laura.LI would definitely go back to the hotel.<\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div>

<\/div>Nice 3 star hotel, in a good spot for us. Animation team try really hard. Food is hit and miss but the Valentine\u2019s buffet was outstanding. All the staff are very friendly. Paid for a deluxe view but only got a view of palm trees and nothing else (room 586), which wasn\u2019t worth the extra \u00a350+ to us, also room is too far away from the amenities so would definitely ask for a room closer. hotel is showing wear, it needs a good paint inside and the non rainforest shower head had no pressure which is really annoying.<\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div>

Every hotel employee was smiling, helpful, and ready to fulfill even the smallest requests from guests. I truly felt cared for, and their approach made the stay even more comfortable.We stayed in room 215, which was simply fantastic. The rooms in this hotel are in a class of their own. Cleanliness, aesthetics, and attention to detail were top-notch. The interior design combined modernity with coziness, making every evening spent in the room a real pleasure. Additionally, the equipment was very well thought out, and the bed was incredibly comfortable\u2014perfect for relaxing after a long day.However, the biggest highlight of our stay was the food served at the hotel. Every meal was a true feast for the senses! The menu was very diverse, so everyone, regardless of their preferences, could find something they loved. All the dishes were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, while lunches and dinners were a culinary adventure.In summary, my stay at Abora Catarina was an unforgettable experience. <\/div>We stayed at the Abora Catarina over New Year and I'd definitely recommend the hotel! The staff were always so very friendly and helpful. The cleanliness was excellent!! The hotel was always immaculate! The food and variation were great, everything was fresh and there was always plenty of it! The staff in the restaurant done amazing with the Hogmanay celebrations, from the decoration, food and entertainment!The pools were too cold which was a shame, they look great, especially the kids area but there was hardly anyone in this area as the water was just too cold, it needs to be heated, especially at this time of year.5 out of 5 for the Animation team, they were absolutely brilliant, always bringing so much energy, they went to a lot of effort every night with the children's disco and every show they done, they gave it there all!! It's perfect for families with kids, thanks to the amazing animation team and the variety of activities and night-time shows. The pools and water park are excellent, and the all-inclusive package provided a great selection of food and snacks throughout the day, with beer and wine available on tap.The only improvement I could suggest is adding a snack station closer to the water park area. This would make it easier for kids to stay around and still have access to snacks.The hotel is just a two-minute walk from the beautiful dunes, There are plenty of facilities close by, easily accessible, I would definitely recommend this hotel.<\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div>

They were not only friendly and smiling, as most animators are in hotels, but the level of harmony, professionalism, and charisma this team had was something we had never experienced before. <\/div>Not too much point to write a review when there are so many misleading 5 star reviews, but will share our honest experience. The hotel was very disappointing (definitely not a 4 star, more 3) for us and way below expectations, and we didn\u2019t come with high hopes neither. The food is as about as low quality, bland, cold, basic & tasteless as you will ever find, and there is virtually nothing for young kids. Our kids ate bland pasta for 5 days as nothing else appealed. Its really not worth all-inclusive for these reasons. The rooms are quite large, but super basic and very old and damaged, although beds not the most uncomfortable. The worst of the rooms is the constant loud noise almost 24 hrs per day (shouting, screaming, people moving furniture in rooms, kids screaming) which is more like a cheap hotel in downtown Benidorm. Just an observation, the hotel attracts a \u2018few\u2019 very low class people who take the buffet food with their hands. The service in the hotel is very good on the other hand with very kind and friendly staff. Overall we like the area but wouldn\u2019t ever go back to this hotel.<\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div>

<\/div>Stayed here again . Sadly i was ill with covid within 2 days so the stay wasn't what it could of been.Certain aspects of the hotel are looking tired but on the whole the stay was OK. All staff are hard working . Food was good . Please sort the drinks gun behind the bars the tonic had little or no gas it was reported but tasted just of syrup most of the time. Otherwise hopefully we will give it another go hopefully without illness<\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div>

Would definitely stay there again.The only one particular problem I had on a parade day was when my friend came to visit, so we would get ready for the parade. Cleanliness is up to standard, which we appreciated. However, it\u2019s disappointing that the hotel advertises itself as newly renovated in 2017 \u2013 you can\u2019t really tell. There are many areas that feel worn and in need of an update.We booked the premium all-inclusive package, but unfortunately, the bar staff seemed unaware of what was included. Despite certain items clearly being listed as included, we were denied access several times, and the staff had to ask colleagues for clarification. This created some frustration, as we didn\u2019t receive the experience we expected.we even had to pay for a bottle of cava in the restaurant though it says on the website that it should be included.The food in the restaurant is okay, but nothing special. The hotel seems better suited for families with children looking for simple and accessible food, rather than for those seeking something more varied and flavorful.In summary, the hotel has its strengths, but some areas need improvement to live up to the standard they promise.<\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div>

Always provided with fresh towels. The shower runs well, hairdryer actually has some power and the little added extras such as shower caps, shampoo, conditioners etc are great. There are tea and coffee making facilities, although I\u2019m not sure if this is for every level of booking.Food, drink, staff and entertainment have been spot on.The hotel is perfect whether you want to be in the thick of activities or you just want the peace and quiet.Plenty more I could say, but I think this says enough.<\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div>

<\/div>Room number 371.At the beginning we were sad because we\u2019d got the room with the street view. But it turned out to be great. Less noise, nice view for a living city and for the sunshine over the ocean. Tasty food, a lot of place to chill, everyday you can take a free bus to the beach. The staff very helpful. There could be at least one Polish channel in the television but that\u2019s not such a problem. When the light bulb in the bathroom burned out, I didn't even have to report it to get it fixed. Originally, we were in a room on the front near the roundabout, which was just too loud for our 2 girls. The hotel reception team didn't hesitate to move us to the back of the property next to the tranquil pond below.Location:The hotel is perfectly situated, offering great views.Room:I stayed in the family room, and it was simply spectacular. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated The bed comfortable and the view from the balcony was great, especially at sunset.Service:The service is what truly sets it apart. Every staff member I encountered was genuinely friendly, professional, and eager to go above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. They were incredibly attentive without being intrusive, anticipating my needs before I even had to ask. It felt like staying with friends who happened to run a five-star hotel.Dining:The food here is absolutely divine and always had a great selection to chose from.Facilities & Amenities:Whether you're lounging by the pool or indulging in a treatment at the spa, or exploring the nearby attractions, there's something for everyone and the fitness center was well-equipped for those wanting to keep up with their workout routines.Amazing stay, thank you<\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div>

We stayed in Room 369 which is a family room with a good sized double bed, a small sofa bed, and a high bed, so plenty of room for our family of 2 adults and 2 children. The children enjoyed the slides and splash pool, and we all enjoyed the main pool together. Food and drinks on offer were a good standard, and entertainment was great for all the family. Food selection has been fantastic, kids have really enjoyed eating here, and the range of all inclusive drinks is good.The kids pool is very relaxed and the kids are actually allowed to go crazy rather than being too regimented, but you still feel very safe under the constant supervision of life guards, I\u2019d 100% come get again!!!The animation team really take care of the little ones and child participation in the evening has been second to none, they\u2019re always allowed on stage during the kids disco and to meet characters etc and that\u2019s really made my two feel very included.<\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div>

There's something for everyone. And there are snack bars during the day and evening if you don't want a full meal. There is a shuttle to the beach but we walked it in 15-20 mins. Same distance to the major shopping centre. There are small shops locally too. Not here with kids but have seen a lot of entertainment for them during our stay. <\/div>Having stayed in lots of 3, 4 and 5 star hotels this is definitely more like a 3 star. Some staff were friendly and very helpful other staff were very rude. Cocktails were being made too strong to drink, I can only assume to try and limit the number of drinks being consumed. Food was bang average and not a lot of variation each day. Lifts were tiny which resulted in long waits and to get from floor 3 to the restaurant or pool you had to take multiple lifts due to being built over different levels. The kids pool area was good but was set a long distance away from the snack bars and bars which meant you could only have local beer, fizzy drinks or hot drinks whilst at the kids pool. The hotel looks like it has been recently renovated but not to a very good standard. Lots of broken tiles around the pools etc... with the old tiles visible underneath. The composite decking outside the lobby bar had lots of broken pieces and holes in but people were still allowed to use the area. I've done a lot of all inclusive holidays and lots of holidays in the Canaries. In my opinion, save your money and go elsewhere.<\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div>

We especially loved breakfast with panchi, my kids are now obsessed with him and we have made beautiful memories here. Everybody at the Catarina works so endlessly hard, the maids, the cleaners, the chefs. Throughout our week stay we have no complaints at all. Nothing is too much trouble. We love how the maids made our little girls beds up with their favourite teddy\u2019s everyday was a lovely touch. The one and only thing that annoyed us was on day 4 when we were asked for our room key for dinner service, we hadn\u2019t been asked once and the man asking for it was quite rude. We said we had left it at the kids pool which was quite a walk from the restaurant and that we hadn\u2019t once been asked to show our room key. We were checked in by Isabella who was lovely and she even allowed us to go get our evening meal before the buffet closed and kept our bags behind the desk, which after a late flight was much appreciated.The first Saturday we arrived was pride and the hotel was full of buzz the hotel was great during pride - a real credit.The room itself was large and spacious - the balcony overlooked the main pool, but was surprisingly soundproof, it was cleaned every day and the cleaners did an exceptional job.The only thing I will say about the room (room 245) it is could do with a little refresh of paint here and there, the shower was powerful but so much so it was hard to contain the water in the shower itself. The aircon was a little bit weedy for our liking but other than that everything was spot on.The pool area is lovely and there was never a fight for sunbeds or a spot around the pool. The outdoor bar was always attended and quick to serve and the drinks were good. Plenty of entertainment for both adults and kids.The food was good and varied each day. I think they only thing it seemed to lack was a live cooking station which would have been nice, but otherwise a good selection and plenty to eat for everyone.It's in a great location - just a few minutes walk from the dunes and easy to get to everywhere within a few mins walk.Overall a great hotel and the staff are fantastic<\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div>

<\/div>This was our 2nd choice after our 1st announced building work a week before our flight!We arrived a week ago to a quiet hotel.The restaurant is great, have no complaints for the choice of food, they make slight changes every day to keep you interested. My only crib would be today and lunch time it was so busy! The staff where struggling to keep up with the hot buffet side of things.If it's like this at evening meal time I think we will give it a miss.The rooms are great, we have a family room (407) off the south wing, balcony looking onto riu\/roundabout (sand dunes in the distance).We did have a issue last night when we came back to the room with one very tired 4yr old. The air conditioning sprung a water leak through the ceiling flooding the floor. The engineer came within 5 minutes and resolved the leak so we are back to normal!Pools are great, the kids area is fantastic.The entertainment is great with well put together shows.All the soft furniture disappeared from the reception with no replacement which we thought was strange. Perhaps its gone for a freshen up!All together we found this place great with no real complaints about the hotel. You'd have to be really picky to not enjoy your stay.<\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div>

We could see the ocean and the dunes directly from our room. The only small negative to mention would be the unstable water temperature in the shower. The staff have been great and respectful. Room cleaned every day at times convenient for me. The food is decent, plenty of options and they are quick to refill everything even near closing time. Lots of facilities: pools, entertainment on stage at night, a small gym, playground and game room for children. Rooms were fine, but air conditioning was poor and our cleaners were terrible, not replacing towels and leaving dirty glasses etc around the room and not doing a great job either with the floor. The communal areas were pretty tired, with poor decoration and in need of upgrading.The food was generally really quite good quality and they did a great job getting replacements out. Glasses were hard to come by when busy and quite a few dispensers were broken at various times during our visit.Reception needed to have more staff, as there was often a lengthy wait, but the staff were in general pretty friendly. Kids club was good, with a decent entertainment most nights. The free bus to the local beach is a great addition.Floors around the pool are incredibly slippery with multiple accidents.Overall, it\u2019s fine, but could make various improvements.<\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div>

Food is limited at the buffet but we always found something nice to eat. No rush for a sunbed in the mornings as the sun don't really hit the pool area til around 10am. Overall we have had an amazing stay. <\/div>The hotel staff is very kind and polite. The room was specious, but TV didn't have any good English channels. The room service is very basic but for us it was enough. The water tap mixer in the shower didn't work too well : the water was or cold or hot, it was difficult to get a right temperature The all inclusive food is very good, lots of variety, warm and cold options, plenty of veggies and fruits. First time however I experienced scanning the room key at the entrance to the restaurant. Also, the All inclusive finished with check out at 12pm. I experienced that first time too, as usually after check out the room I was still able to use all hotel facilities. If you have a late flight you just allow to camp out in the hotel lobby or can use pool area for 15 Euro per person. Not nice end of holiday to be honest.<\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div>

Everyone greeted you with a big smile and a hello, like you were the first person they had met that day. The housekeeping teams deserve medals. The whole place was super clean and tidy. All of the public areas, including the toilets were very clean and well stocked. The food was excellent, including gluten-free options, bread and cereal. Considering it is an all-inclusive hotel, the food was always varied, the roasts were first class, and the desserts were moreish. I have to mention the many acts of kindness I witnessed during my stay. There were several people with mobility issues staying here. The waiting staff would reserve tables, help them to collect food and drinks and ensure they had all they needed. I have never seen staff do those things before. Full marks to them!! The bedroom was spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. My only reason for not giving full marks was the shower temperature fluctuated constantly, and several public bathrooms were often out of soap. Kettle with tea and coffee provided but no cups. No complaints but just observations. Would I come back to this hotel again? Absolutely. Super clean and very good sized twin room, with the option in ours including a pull down bunk bed which would make the room great for small families too I guess. We chose all inclusive. The restaurant had multiple themed evenings, and had a huge selection every day, particularly impressed with the salad bars. Snacks and both alcoholic and soft drinks were available all day also. <\/div>Just back from a family holiday (2 adults 2 kids) everyone had a great time. Plenty to do with 4 different pools and entertainment all day and night. Kids pool had a small waterpark. Having it spread out meant you could always get a lounger, drink etc and never too busy anywhere. Animation team were really good. Hard workers, always happy and always stopped for a chat anytime you seen them to try and amuse the adults and kids. The night shows they put on were really good quality. Good mix for adults and kids. Food was a good standard. Little repetitive sometimes but still good quality. Never had to queue for drinks as plenty beer and soft drink taps spread around for folk to help themselves to. Rooms were nice and spacious for a family of 4. Location was really good, close to the dunes, beach and shopping centres.Small minor point was the air con in the room wasn't the best but manageable.A great holiday had by all and will definitely be back here.<\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div>

<\/div>I was so anxious about this hotel especially as some people have mentioned that if you leave a 5 star review you get a free all inclusive day. My review isn\u2019t for that it\u2019s a genuine one.I found the room absolutely great, bed comfortable definitely had worse on some holidays, Air con good, lots of ants on the balcony so that wasn\u2019t nice but we never complained as they didn\u2019t come into the room so didn\u2019t bother us. You do have to pay to rent the safe. Room cleaned everyday with fresh towels, pool is great! Has enough space to accommodate, although the lack of Parasols was a bit rubbish as you would see people trying to claim one very early in the morning. Some staff were friendly however when we first got there I went to get a drink from the self service section and a lady was trying to fill up the glasses and as I was in her way she huffed and puffed, rather than saying \u2018excuse me\u2019 or just wait 10 seconds for me to finish so that was mainly the downside to this place. Food is good and tasty with plenty of fruit and cakes for desert.Would definitely stay here again but staff should really be taught better customer service and because of this lady I\u2019m giving 4 stars.<\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div>

The food is good quality and there's plenty of drink (soft as well) to keep you hydrated. The hotel is clean, roomy, beds comfortable, with all the facilities you'd expect. The only thing you might want to bring is a travel iron although there is a laundry service in the hotel. The gardens are delightful with plenty of lovely spots to relax including a shaded pool area. <\/div>We've stopped here with and without little ones. If you are here over 1 week the food is repetitive, but always good quality. The rooms are let down by the bathrooms, just a little bit more thought on the issue of doors rotting because of water is required. Otherwise they are large and comfortable.Particularly worth mentioning is the staff, across the whole hotel, they are happy to help, fun to talk to and always looking for ways to make your stay better. Waiters remember you from visit to visit, even if 6 months has passed, bar staff know what you drink, and want to delight you every time.<\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div>

<\/div>Just got home this morning from two fabulous weeks here and have this morning booked again for next year. This hotel and its staff have given us the most stress free break we have ever had. If we want to be with others we were, on days we wanted a quiet area to chill and relax we were able to find areas for this. Room was spotless, plenty of choices everyday for what to eat, ample drinks choices and reception staff could not do enough to help with every enquiry we made.It would be nice if there was an area of dinning area that catered only for adults, but we resolved by changing the time we ate dinner in the evening, so not a major issue.<\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div>

<\/div>Our family has spent a wonderful week in the company of all the staff at Abora Caterina. The rooms are clean, the food is excellent and delicious with a good variety of dining during the week. It's amazing they produce so much food for so many with the quality kept high. Well done chefs.The pools are different in nature, we spent all our time in the pool with the slides and the kids had constant fun. The supervision of the lifeguards is brilliant and they ensure the kids all use the slides safely.The reception staff are wonderfully welcoming, knowledgeable, kind and great fun to talk to. Especially Oscar who gave us a word-of-the-day for the kids to learn some Spanish. He was brill!!!The cleaners are amazing, keeping our room tidy every day and saying hello all the time whilst blending into the background. <\/div>Stayed here at the start of May 2022 for 9 nights. Can\u2019t say anything bad about this place! The staff were friendly from the moment we walked through the door which was quite late due to our flights till the moment we left (even let us use the inclusive facilities till we got picked up in the evening. The room was clean, quite modern which was a nice touch and was plenty of room to relax. Our room was towards the end of the hotel which we did prefer as it was quieter but there was plenty of action in the main area of the hotel from mini games in the afternoon at the pool then the evening shows. The food was varied on each day, mainly steak, chicken, pasta, fish, pizza and plenty of breads and salads. The all inclusive drinks were spot on, plenty of cocktails were part of the all inclusive which was good and varied. In the area there is also really nice restaurants too if you want a night away from the hotel for drinks and food. Booked for December 2022 already so look forward to returning then!<\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div>

You must try the soup even if you don't like the name of it... The main dishes... You'll never go hungry that's for sure. Very close to the dunes, if you come out of hotel turn right, walk towards the Riu, then walk through the arch, you'll be at the dunes, amazing sights. The staff couldn't be more helpful - its all inclusive but they still really want to do their best and put effort in when it would be quite easy for them to take it easy a bit. The food was plentiful and tasty - particularly the New years Eve dinner. And unusually in my experience - drinks and snacks (albeit only sandwiches and wraps) were available 24hrs a day. All in all a great stay and I definitely would go back.<\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div>

<\/div>Clean and well maintained hotel in a good location and great housekeeping and staff but not recommended if you want a quiet, relaxing break. Very noisy due to extended family groups with lots of children being accepted by the hotel. During my stay small children were handling food at the serving points and then leaving it for other guests. Impossible to relax by the pool with ball games being played. This was my second visit but probably my last. I am sure it will suit some people.<\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div>

<\/div>Very nice hotel and very clean.We found few issues though, one was that it's not maintained properly, a lot of rooms have their door numbers missing, our shower screen was leaking from the bottom because the silicon was loose, the bathroom's door the paint was coming off at the bottom and most of it people at the entrance of the buffet are scanned the bedroom's card but they don't offer to the customers to clean their hands with alcohol gel even though it's sitting there. I have reported this to one of the hotel manager half way through the holiday but nothing did change. I've seen people going to the toilet and not washing hands and then they might go to the restaurant touching utensils where we put or collect our food. Either than this the hotel and restaurant cleanliness are very good.<\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div>

That along with all inclusive, a great room and friendly staff made it a hotel that we would go back to. as we know the area very well it was an easy walk to the Yumbo centre and in the other direction the Maspalomas sand dunes and the beach. <\/div>We visit this hotel 2\/3 times a year and can't wait for the pandemic to settle so we can return when restrictions are ceased.The rooms and facilities at the hotel are modern, clean and cater for all age groups. The adult only rooms have great views over the dunes and mountains. The facilities for children are amazing and the entertainment team work tirelessly to make sure all age groups are having a good time. The evening shows are enjoyable and a credit to the work the team put into them.There is a small gym with a varied DB weight range, although some 2 and 3 kg would be nice for a weakling like me. There is also adequate cardio equipment.The hotel is situated not far from the famous dunes and the promenade walk to PDI.We've always been made welcome by all staff and impressed they remember us when they see so many guests.There is a lovely barman in the bar downstairs who is always friendly no matter how much pressure he's under and the very tall waiter who we think is called Noe always greets everyone with a friendly smile and kind words no matter what your age. We can't wait to return to see all these friendly faces again after a tough couple of years for everyone.We'd recommend this hotel above any others in this area.<\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div>

If you are a fellow fish lover you will be over the moon with the veriety and freshness of the food, by the pools there are always free sunbeds unlike at other hotels I've vacated they have an all day bar wich you can get hot and cold foods inbetween meals. The beach is not that far if a walk but you do have to walk a lot of steps or optional ramps. Ifyou are part of the LGBTQ+ community it seems like a very accepting and accommodating place. Also people saved beds all day with towels until 3pm and returned to hotel to use them.
