My wife booked a few day trips out culminating with this one being the last and the best . It was a great experience for the family all around. The catamaran is large and comfortable and clean. The head guy 'Potter' was a funny and gracious host, as were the other staff.It starts off with a 40 minute ride on the magnificent blue ocean around the Gran Canaria coast . Then stopping in a beautiful rocky cove for an hour or two , where a few water activities were had . Speed boating, riding the inflatable donut, parasailing and snorkeling to name a few. Even just swimming in the cove in the warm sea with the fishes is an experience.On the way back, lunch was provided, which was nice, and the cocktails flowed, which was better . It was a great day out, and I really recommend it . Best trip on the island.

We booked this experience as a family of 5 adults and 1 child (4 years old) and it was amazing! It was a perfect day out and the perfect amount of time. The staff were amazing making the day/experience great fun. Having the opportunity to do go a free speed boat was great fun! And seeing the outside of the caves was amazing. Having the add on options of a jet ski, paragliding or doughnut ride with a discount or just being chill was perfect. It was so well organised, ran smoothly and felt safe. The food was lovely and the unlimited drinks were brilliant. The staff were amazing with my nephew and allowed him to drive the boat for a while this truly made his day and holiday! Would definitely recommend and do it again!

Amazing experience! Looked after 100% of the time. Food was lovely. Had the opportunity to do water sports aswell (at a discounted price). Jet Skis were amazing! Staff were all amazing, specifically Monica the tour guide was so lovely and funny. Would highly recommend 🙂

Had a great time the Australian guy we had on the day was a great host and funny. They proved life jackets and snorkells. For the price the trip should be a lot longer. Have done boat trips like this in turkey which are a lot cheaper and longer lasting and you visit different bays and beaches. Lunch they provide was below basic was not good for the price you’re paying. Although the unlimited soft drinks was good. There a large toilet onboard with a shower which was good 👍🏻

Me and my husband booked this experience and it was our 1st time on this boat. It was amazing. The staff were lovely, lively, and had a great mix of songs playing. They were always there for you if you needed anything. The food and drink included was lovely. We got some amazing views of the scenery with plenty of colourful fish that surrounded the boat when it was time to snorkel/swim. There was plenty of time to do everything and nothing was rushed. My husband went on the included speedboat ride which was fun. We booked the crazy donut ride which was rough but fun. My husband also did jet skiing. The jet skis reached a top speed of about 40 mph which was fast enough for the choppiness of the water.The toilet on board was well looked after.- Weather was amazing and hot- staff were amazing ( they go above and beyond )- wide variety of as much lovely food & alcoholic/soft drinks provided.We both had an amazing experience with Afrikat and we recommend this to anyone who wants to have an amazing time. It's well worth it and will make your holiday 😊Thanks again to everyone at Afrikat.

Overall a great trip and worth booking.Staff were super friendly and the water sports are really fun and well priced.Only let down was the food provided was a bit too basic (pasta, potatoes & bread with dry meatballs)The pick up could have also been in a more central location to save driving around collecting everyone as early.

Excellent boat trip. Friendly crew, plenty of drinks and food. Plenty of opportunity for everyone to take part in watersports, swimming, snorkeling etc. Great views of the coast from the boat. Comfortable seating in the sun or shade depending on your preference.

Absolutely brilliant day and very well looked after by the Afrikat staff, very friendly and helpful. We did all the activities including Jetski, Parasailing, and the donut - The donut ride was pretty rough but still so much fun, Parasailing was amazing, including riding the Jetski was fantastic - you get about 20 minutes on the Jetski. Only suggestion I would have about the Jetski ride is that instructions could be a bit clearer as to where you can and cannot go as there are 3 markers you have to stay within but other than that it was perfect. Highly recommend!

Absolutely a fantastic half day on the Afrikat, you leave Puerto Basè marina at 9.30am and return around 2pm. The lunch was simple but very tasty and all the watersport activities are of fantastic value. We even got a free speedboat ride thrown in too. All the staff are super friendly and a special mention must go to my mate Young Matt 😍 for looking after Liz my wife. It was brilliant to see you again Matt 👌🏻

We went out on the 8/3/23. We were greeted at the front of the harbour by the team. They were really lovely. Took us on board and showed us around. Potter the main man was very good at making everyone feel at ease and kept us entertained all day. Brilliant experience from start to finish.Would highly recommend this trip.

Excellent experience on the Afrikat Catamaran today. We had our elderly mother with us ,who was well looked after and supported to join us on the boat, and a 5 year old who was warmly included and supported to join in all the activities too. Food Excellent. Drinks great. Activities well managed. Friendly crew and a born performer in Potter who explained in multiple languages what we would experience in the cruise. We jet skied, had a ride on the speedboat , the crazy donut and saw dolphins too. It was incredible. Visit them as often as you can.

Such a lovely relaxing trip! The crew were absolutely brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. They all went out of their way to ensure everyone had a good time. Food and unlimited alcoholic and soft drinks included, which was all really nice. Swimming or snorkelling and a speed boat ride if you wanted. On our way back we were serenaded by a young girl playing the saxophone which was a lovely touch. She was brilliant!A thoroughly enjoyable trip which started with the lovely girl on the bus during our pick up. Thank you to the whole team!

We enjoyed the morning cruise but there’s definitely room for improvement. The lunch was terrible but the speedboat ride was really cool. The cruise was advertised to be 4.5h long but it for sure wasn’t.

We decided to go on an Afrikat excursion whilst on our holiday in Maspalomas, and we are so happy we chose the Afrikat.Pick-up was nice and easy (from the Yumbo Centre) where we were taken on the coach to Puerto Rico where the Afrikat is based. The team member we had leading the excursion (we can't remember his name) was extremely friendly and had everyone laughing.We had free drinks the entire time (over 4 hours total) and also a free trip on the speedboat. There's also water activities available which we didn't take part in but everyone that did seemed to have a great time.Highly recommended to anyone that's thinking of a sea excursion, we look to coming back on out next holiday!

Joined the Afrikat team for our 2nd time on the morning cruise and it was as great as I remember. Some different team members this time but we’re just as much fun. Lindsey was good fun sorry can’t remember the other names but one reminded me of Simon Pegg .They both made the trip very enjoyable, even during the safety introduction they was making us laugh.One of the best excursions to go on if you in Gran Canaria.

Positives : Exceptional staff members, fun, friendly, kind and high customer service skills, nice catamaran, great extra activities at the discounted price.To improve : The food was a real let down, for the price we have paid the good could be of a better quality and freshness.We have booked Friday morning because we wanted to enjoy live music that was offered only on Fridays , however, when we asked when will the live music happens , we were told the saxophonist is on holiday, a real disappointment as we only booked it for that one reason, staff did not say anything about it.The bottom line is we had a good day but the whole experience seams overpriced.

Fantastic day - the staff were amazing, the 'speedboat ride' was absolutely the highlight for us.. We would have also booked the jet-skis but couldn't due to an injury. We went on a Friday so benefitted from the weekly Saxophonist entertainment. Highly recommended

a superb day out on the lovely Catamaran with a very friendly, professional crew. The boat left from the marina on time under beautiful blue skies, the water was as clear as can be and the vibe was superb. Food and drinks were plentiful, the scenery was spectacular. We stopped in a lovely little bay to swim and snorkel and had fun on the jet-skis, the crazy donut ride and para-sailing. All of this fun gave us a big appetite and lunch was tasty and relaxed. All in all a great day. Highly recommended!!

I had a wonderfull day that i won't forget 😍The best was of course the funny crew 🤣They made sure this whole trip would be fun and that everybody got attention. Morning cruise on Africat has been the highlight of our stay at Gran Canaria so far! The crew was friendly, super funny, we enjoyed the food and cruise itself a lot. Very good company they will make your day out unforgettable! Staff is super friendly, boat isn't crowded like you see some companies do so enough place to relax and fab drinks&food(included) ! Great plus is that the boat is wheelchair accessible and even has a wheelchair accessible toilet. Crew will help wherever they can even lifted me in and out of the ocean 😉 Highly recommended booking here!!
