As you know, in Gran Canaria and throughout Spain we are in quarantine. This implies that it is mandatory to stay at home, but with certain exceptions.
During the alarm state, you can only:
- Use the public streets for certain activities (supermarkets, pharmacies, etc.).
- Go to work if the company asks you to.
- Care for other family members who need assistance.
- Buy food.
- Go for a walk with the dog, as long as you go unaccompanied.
- If you have young children and can’t leave them home alone, you can take them along to walk the dog.
But it’s not all bad news, there are restaurants that do home deliveries that are allowed. Among them are:
Pomodoro & Mozzarella
The italian restaurant Pomodoro & Mozzarella in El Tablero does home delivery in its usual hours from Tuesday to Sunday. They have free delivery at home for minimum orders in the area, as well as in the surroundings of Maspalomas, Playa del Inglés and even Bahía Felíz.
They serve authentic Italian pizzas made from a dough that is left at rest for several days. The result is an exquisitely light pizza. If you want a pizza here, click here
They deliver from Monday to Sunday. Fridays and Saturdays deliveries are from 12:30 to 00:00, the rest of the days from 12:30 until 23:00
It is located in San Agustin. If you place an order of more than 15€, the delivery is free of charge to San Agustin, more than 20€ to Playa del Aguila and more than 25€ to Bahia Feliz.
On the menu you will find authentic Italian pizzas and a variety of original recipes. The pasta is homemade and the pizza dough is fine Italian style, soft and tasty – all at the same time. The meats are cooked to perfection and the presentation is clean. If you want authentic Italian pizza, click here
