We went dolphin searching, actually saw them, and got exactly what we paid for. The experience itself was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The captain was a fantastic host who kept us all laughing over the intercom throughout the journey.\u200bI also highly recommend buying the photos and keychains they sell on board. They are totally worth it and make for a remarkable keepsake to remember the trip.\u200bI've seen a lot of negative reviews from people complaining about others getting seasick and throwing up. During our trip, the crewmates cleaned everything up so fast that I barely even noticed anyone was sick! They maintained total professionalism and did a great job keeping a wonderful, clean atmosphere for the rest of us.\u200bThe only minor downside was the boarding process. Even though we had prepaid, one of the guys at the boarding gate was a bit off-putting. He treated us like we hadn't paid and refused to even look at my receipt until a lovely lady stepped in, checked it, and sorted it out.\u200bAside from that rocky start, it was a beautiful trip. The dolphins were beautiful, and spotting whales as well made it even more special.One thing that really stood out to me, and that I appreciated a lot, is how respectful they are with the animals. They don\u2019t do anything to attract them or interfere in any way. Everything is completely natural, respecting their space and freedom, which makes the whole experience feel much more authentic and sustainable.I also loved a small detail at the end: they offered us a souvenir at a very reasonable price. They took a photo of us, and we got both the picture and a keychain with it. The boat ride was pleasant already by itself, after about 1h in we have seen birds, a turtle, a good few massive whales and lots of dolphins and the staff had really made an effort in bringing us close to them and trying to swing the boat around so both sides would have a view of the animals. We did see them after around 1hr 30 for about 10 minutes which was excellent and beautiful to see and then headed back to shore which took another hour. However, this experience should come with a warning on their website at least! It was a lot rockier than we had expected despite it being in July and it was a very sunny day. This caused at least 90% of the passengers to feel sick and then express that...They were given see-through bags which once they were used, they would have to hold!! So other passengers would have to see the full bag of sick for the rest of the journey. Multiple men, woman and children definitely regretted going. I would not recommend this trip for young children, especially babies, or anyone who normally suffers from sea sickness as even I felt sick and I never usually suffer. Also if you get queasy from seeing, smelling or hearing vomit then avoid as the entire bottom deck was full of ill looking people with sick on them.... We had reservations at our hotel and were picked up there. Driven from maspalomas to Puerto Rico, we took the nice salmon ferry and went to sea.At the ferry there were drinks available and a snack.A nice crew, who were honest.. spotting dolphins is never a science. Sometimes you see them, sometimes you don't.. These are wild animals whom you can't control.So with less expectations and lots of hope we went to the 400m deep Atlantic Ocean.We saw birds and flying fish when the crew got excited : lots of tuna fish in front of us.Tuna.. That means dolphin.. So in a few minutes they were there!For like one hour, a group of 10 dolphins were around the ferry.This big group was a surprise for guests as well for the crew.It was so beautiful, to see the animals playing around the boats stream.
