Het WILD WEST Themapark Sioux City in de Cañón del Águila is een van de oudste themaparken op het eiland Gran Canaria. Het ligt in de Aguíla Canyon, die u binnenrijdt vanuit Playa del Águila. De kinderen zullen het geweldig vinden, want er zijn dieren om naar te kijken, zoals paarden, koeien, konijnen en ook reptielen. Er zijn elke dag verschillende westernshows.

Sioux City Park – Een echt avontuur

Je kunt elk gebouw binnengaan: de kerk, de school, de gevangenis, de saloon, en nog veel meer. Echte cowboys wonen er en presenteren in een dagelijkse show hoe zij in de vorige eeuw in het wilde westen leefden.

Zodra u ons themapark betreedt, voelt u zich als een echte cowboy of indiaan. Je kunt zelf bepalen waar je loopt, een bankoverval bekijken en de boeven zien rondhangen. U kunt ook de dierenboerderij bezoeken met Canarische geiten, koeien, pony’s, ezels, kippen en nog veel meer.

Verkleed je als een echte cowboy, of indiaan, uit hun winkel en maak natuurlijk onvergetelijke herinneringen aan een geweldige tijd van het Amerikaanse Wilde Westen, maar dan op de Canarische Eilanden.

Small entertainment park depicting the life of American Prarie many years ago. The park doesn't look much, but the staff and the animals make up for all of that!You will find a few hidden gems like the enigmatic village fool, the strong and powerful (and bendy) lady!The park is open from 10 till 15 with stories being told in the middle of the street, in front of the bank and in the saloon.Feeding and riding the animals was the top attraction for the kids, whereas the slapstick comedy was for many to enjoy.Don't expect "attractions or rides", the people telling the story and the small town itself is the attraction! Be here on time and be sure to watch the staff. They are the show... and it is not well conveyed when and where the next story takes place.All in all had a amazing day in a tiny and freakishly warm town, which looks like a movie set and felt as warm too.

This place is amazing, so much fun all day long! Every single member of staff was fun, friendly and made the whole experience. Really good priced for everything even the souvenir shop, the food was amazing (Angus burgers) and the beer tasted great! The free bus is honestly cherry on the top! Thank you we will be back next year!! ❤️❤️

It was our last day on the island and my sons wanted to come here and I’m glad we did, I was a bit sceptical but absolutely enjoyed every minute.From the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was full of fun and shows.You can hire a horse for some horse riding, feed some goats there is a saloon for some typical pub food (it was good food).The shows feel like they never stop the entertainment keeps flowing, there is enough time in between shows to grab some food and souvenirs.If you want the full experience if you get the chance make sure you participate in the shows especially the last show in the bar, I’m not going to say too much (but you will want to 🔫💥)

There is so much to say! Cast and crew were superb, the shows were interactive and amazing. I took my Daughter on a girls day out and I was more than impressed.She was made to feel like a princess of the west and that was just in the shop it was better with each step we took. They were very busy but still took time to speak with all the visitors and they are family orientated with plenty for adults too.You can take the free bus, various resort pick ups so check the locations on the timetable, the staff will call for a taxi if you miss the bus (we chose to), they stayed until we were safely in the taxi.The kindness from each staff member was heart-warming and made my Daughter feel like she was a VIP.They have farm animals that you can view and interact with some of them and the staff knowledge of them is fantastic. Horse rides are available (extra fee), be sure to check out the barbecue (extra fee) and buildings.Lots to experience here, prices are very reasonable for the experience and I would highly recommend!

We took the free bus from Maspalomas bus station to Sioux City park which was easy to spot with the branding on the side of the bus and we checked the pick up time on the internet in advance which was about 0945.Upon arrival at the park the immersion into the “Wild West” was great from the start with amazing scenery, authentic buildings and a cowboy waiting on a horse as the coach drove into the car park. After disembarking from the coach and paying the entry fee we headed into the Main Street where we were greeted by armed bandits who were surprisingly polite and didn’t try to rob us!After a trip to the general store on Main Street and cowboy attire purchased we watched the first show which was very comical and action packed which we all enjoyed. I became so immersed in the theming I almost wondered whether there would be running water in the toilets! (Luckily there was!)The cast were very interactive with children and adults even allowing participation in some of the shows which was great fun (even though it meant I had to put on a dress and go on stage!).Overall we loved it and the time went to quickly! Would highly recommend to anyone.

One of the best places i have ever been.the sites are amazing , the staff are polite (especially the guy who plays the drunk man in the western scene,he was amazing,taking photos with everyone who asked for a photo with him, making jokes) the western scene is amazing , also if you have a child i assure you he will enjoy it, because they have baby goats which your kid can feed them ,they also have a pony ,horses ,cows etc. The scenes does involve some shooting so your child might get disturbed by it (mine didn't ) so overall great experience. I don't know how people can rate their experience bellow 4 * ,because i tell you this : its worth more than 5*!! Thanks to all the staff from Sioux City Park for making our holidays so damn beautiful!❤️

As a horsegirl I loved to see that the horses were fit, had great hooves, shiny coats and happy faces! The show was amazing and the staff very kind and nice, great service.

The park is very exciting, especially for kids. The entry fee is fixed, and there are multiple activies such as two acting scenes and magic show.Inside the park there are also animals, like small goats, cows and horses ehich you can feed or ride.The souvenir shop is decent prices and the variety is high. Totally worth it.

Fantastic day out from start to finish. Lovely free Bus scenic view trip from Amadores Beach all the way to the Entrance and a return trip home later. Great place to go with some fab shows spread out during the time there. Don't want to spoil it for others but some fab acting and Gun shoot outs along with lots of time to walk around taking loads of photos and exploring the Wild West City. Would highly recommend and will definitely go again. Took tons of photos and videos.

This place is really special. The staff are so enthusiastic and genuinely seem to like their job.happy to pose for photos and a bit of fun too.I thought the set was fantastic, such good attention to detail. Almost Disney style detailing. We didn’t eat there but the food looked good and the staff were very attentive.

This is the best park mybe not only on the Canarian island. It just blow your mind in you go really in the past. Actors or performance are great. I recommend to see all the shows from 11am till 0230pm. They have great food in real SALOON. The prices are ok and I recommend cicken wings. Just must see if you like cowboys and indian.

At first I thought the park was going to be boring and quite money grabing, but man was I wrong. The shows are amazing!!I traveled there on sunday so I saw the bank robbery and the saloon show. So to begin, it is worth to visit early - around 11 am so you don't miss the shows.The bank robbery show is quite amazing. The actors do a great job. The loud bangs of guns, fast gallops of horses and loud shouting. You really feel like you traveled back in time to wild west. Also the story of the show drags you in like a movie - the whole lot of visitors laugh during the show - so great times (:The saloon show is also great and entertaining, because actors include the visitors in it too - great fun.The actors are all kind and you can see they enjoy their job so you feel also welcome in the theme park.Also got some amazing photos I am sharing below so I must say I really had fun!!

Ok shows. Son of 5 loved the show. Good to know the timing of the shows, so you can be in place to get a good spot for best viewing. I.e. sit in front of the bank for the outdoor show. Food was mediocre.

Amazing full day out for all the family! Was there from 10am until at least 4.Well worth every £££ definitely go again!!!Ticket admission includes a free meal and 1 cold beverage (alcoholic drink if preferred).The bbq area for the meal opens on around half 1, you can get Angus steak burger, pork chops, sausage, & potatoes. However we paid extra and went on a horse ride for half an hour, the by the time we got to the grill area they had stopped cooking the Angus burgers and we don’t like pork chops. They were very pleasant, accommodating our needs and n they made us chicken burger and chips fresh instead!There are a few shows in the day, a magic act, cowboy& Indians play set in the streets that surround you, a horse whisperer show, a cowboys shoot off/ dancing & a clown act. Be aware that most of these they pick people from the audience to participate in!!!Western themed around the whole park, takes you back in time. Great fun for kids and adults alike. Many dressed up as cowboys and Indians especially the kids. They have a great souvenir shop that you can kit yourself out in at a price! They also have farm animal feed that you can buy to feed the goats and baby pig with!Overall great day out & something different to experience 🙂

Good place to visit. Show starts at 11.00. Tickets adult- 22 euro, child- 15 euro. Shows amazing. My recommendations to take sandwiches from home because food there twice expensive than other restaurants in island.

we went there last monday and only to found out it was closed and then we went back again today. no regret!!! worth the visit. the actors and actresses really did a good job. Many shows for all ages. Highly recommended.

Definitelly a unique experience, very kind staff, feels like we just step in a western movie and the landscape arround makes it even better. You can easily spend a full day there watching the shows, enjoying all the small details. It is not fpr kids but the kods can surely have some extra fun there. We went off season but still plenty of things to see. So totally recommend it!

We Ioved our day here. It's not a massive theme park, but there is plenty to do for the day. The shows were funny and well put together. The actors and actresses are so friendly and really made the experience something to remember. The animals all appeared well loved and well cared for. Easy 5 stars 😊

This is too weird, I was born in Sioux City, Iowa in the USA. Trying to see where the volcano is erupting & I came across your park. Looks like a fun place. Hopefully you can reopen soon.

The best value for money the people are amazing, friendly polite and most of them speak very good English. The shows that are part of the ticket u pay for are very well orchestrated and very entertaining especially for the young cowpolk. A few things the town needed a gun Smith, that would have made the town complete, another activity like archery with the native indians of the shows could be fun. But was a fabulous day. Fun for all Weston fans and even those who just want a fun day out. Leo was fantastic as the town drunk that was hilarious

Good for families in a famillial park. The staff (few people) is very kind and enjoy themselves during the show.You shall arrive early for the first show (11:00) then walk around and follow the show agenda until 3:00PM.About money:22€. Horse riding will require extra money. Food is not cheap.Definitely worth it.
