The hotel is thoughtfully designed, spotless, practical, and very comfortable. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and the service is truly excellent. Out in the pool area, there are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas available. The buffet offers a great selection of food and drinks, and the Thalasso spa is perfect for relaxing in salt water. We also used the hotel gym a few times—it’s surprisingly well-equipped for a hotel! My family and I had a wonderful time. I highly recommend it and would definitely come back!

We stayed recently over the May half term with an all inclusive package and had an amazing time - however somethings could be improved.Snack Bar - Most hostile environment at this hotel and yet the quietest. Hardly anyone was at the snack bar throughout the day and yet staff were screaming at one another across it and seemed stressed everytime we went, even when nobody was there.. which overall ruined the experience.Food - Breakfast was great! However, lunch and dinner had the same options everyday and would hardly switch up - I think for the 5 days we stayed, the restaurant changed their deserts once. Another note is the meat, flavourless and cold - even when taken from the main chefsCommunication - One note that is personal to our experience was the lack of communication available to the hotel once your done with your stay. We accidentally left a valuable item in our room after check out and tried contacting the hotel via email and through their social media (as phone number won’t work in the UK) and have had 0 response from their email and been completely ignored on their social media (Facebook) - which isn’t brilliant. Obviously not their fault that our item was left behind, however some contact on how to retrieve it back would’ve been useful..Other than the negatives, the location of the hotel was brilliant! 5 minute walk from the local mall and 10 mins away from a gorgeous beach. Their free bus service to maspalomas was great and their staff behind the bar throughout the daytime and evening were incredible - amazing drinks and massive shoutout to our amazing server Rueben who really made our experience at this hotel amazing.

Large and BUSY. Tired rooms, average food, pleasant surroundings. Pool is too small for this many people. All inclusive not worth it - cheap chemical drinks and basic alcohol.Family room looked tired - shower floor had old dirt, mould in places, hair everywhere. Bed headboard broken, old and stained mattress, ripped bed linen. Staff either don’t get enough time to clean or no one checks the quality.Average quality food (think Tesco value range), juices are not fresh and cocktails are made of cheap syrups. We stuck to water and wine/sangria. Rules on dress code in the restaurant, pool lounger use and not smoking areas are not enforced.15min walk to the beach is up and down the hill in a not straightforward way, which in the heat and flip flops feels like forever.Pros - family room is large and has a separate room and bed for a teen. Working aircon (but looks dusty). Balcony/terrace. Seawater pool, plenty of loungers. Ok gym, leaks all over the ceiling and some equipment. Drinking water daily. Lovely staff. Only 20min from airport.Gran Canaria is lovely. We will be looking for smaller resorts in the future and full or half board. A car is a must.

Right from arrival the front reception staff were freindly, hospitable and very caring. All staff spoke very good English (as well as other languages) and offered guests lots of information about the rooms, services, facilities and about what's what around the local area. The food was fantastic during all meals! Originally we had gone for half board but we changed our mind as soon as we got there, and at a reasonable cost. The service staff are on you as soon as you sit down, offering drinks and so forth, which is great. The facilties are also great, with plenty of bars open most of the day, two pools (one for kids, the other which is much larger is for the adults and bigger kids), plenty of deck chairs and loungers to sun bathe on, and plenty of areas for shade (if you're a bit shy of the sun. The room I and my wife had was on the 4th floor, we had everything needed such as a large walk in shower, 2 sinks, a toilet, a hair dryer, ple ty of storage for your clothes, and plenty of sockets for your plugs to go into. The outdoor balcony had plenty of space and provided us with a great overview of our hotel, and a fantastic view of the local town and the sea. Talking of which, it takes around 10 minutes of walking to get to the beach. There's a fair few shops that provide everything you need, and there's also a laundrette in town by the local spar shop. Lastly but not least, I'd like to offer my appreciation to ALL of the hard working staff at this fantastic hotel in providing my family with a warm, happy and rememberable stay.Thank you guys n girls x

Chosen by location and 4 star rating... First of all - Must say big thanks to David and his excellent attention in the reception who worked out some issues! Good dinner at Gorbea restaurant on the rooftop of the hotel, amazing views. Excellent attention, good work of the chef's on variety of menu. Also a great breakfast buffet, spacious Thalasso Spa to mention and super nice staff! Unfortunately poor 4stars can be given because of the cleanliness of the room and poor gym. The rest of the amenities keep up the level.

The food and the pool were very satisfying. My kid liked the entertainment at the bar at night. The room had a good view but the interior had to be repaired. The bathroom door didn't close properly and the restroom handle was very inconvenient. There were lots of stains and twists on the floor with traces of overflowing water.I stayed for five nights with all-inclusive, and based on the benefits of the website, I asked to extend the check-out time, but I was refused because the room was already booked. However, the hotel website confirmed that the room was still available. There is a liar. I had to check out in a bad way because the reception didn't explain this properly.I would never use all-inclusive if I stayed in this hotel again and I don't recommend all-inclusive.

This is a BIG hotel. I’d guess a thousand guests plus ! It is fastidiously clean, the rooms and all communal areas are very clean and very modern. The food is good we’ve really enjoyed it - it’s a canteen for 1000 people so anyone could nit pick, but no one will lose weight staying here !! The pools are nice and sun beds plentiful. Really nice hotel and staff. The beach is a 10 min stroll away and there are plenty of shops, and it’s around €13 for a taxi to either Maspalomas or the aqua land - highly recommend both.Beware being half board and assuming soft drinks are included - we had a €52 surprise bill on checking out for table water 😬Overall we’ve loved staying here !

It is a great big hotel with spa, big swimming pools, excellent views around, and great service. I was a bit unsure about it reading the reviews about the food in the restaurant. The food is really good. It has local Canaries and Spanish dishes. It tastes really good. The rooms are perfect and the entertainment is a bonus. The aqua dance pool is a bit too deep to be able to do the dance. We are enjoying our stay here.

I came here with my family in June of 2023 for a week and it’s safe to say it was amazing, the hotel is located in a great location as your about a 5-10 minute walk from the beach and about a 5 min walk to the San agustin shopping. We stayed in the annex part of the hotel and the rooms are very clean and airy, plenty of room for us 4 woman. There’s one room with a double bed, and the other with two separate single beds put together and a sofa, overall the rooms are just perfect. The food there was also great but I’m not particularly fussy but I can say that there is a massive variety of food options for everyone’s needs. The fruit there is also amazing, I would eat 7 kiwis a night for my desert! The entertainment for kids was really fun to watch and the entertainment team/ staff were very funny and amazing, especially the man with the longer hair. There was also live music, shows like gymnastics , dancing, singers who look and sound like Michael Jackson!Overall this is one of my favourite hotels and I definitely recommend staying here, I am coming back to stay for 9 night in late June of 2025!P.s - please have my kiwis

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is excellent, making it convenient for exploring the area. Our room was spacious with a beautiful view, and everything was well-maintained—not worn down at all.The food was fresh and delicious, with plenty of variety. The hotel has lots of friendly and attentive staff, ensuring great service. Room cleaning was excellent, and the swimming pools were spotless. It was also convenient to have a pharmacy on-site, along with a gift shop stocked with all the essentials. As a family of three with a 10-year-old, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel!Would definitely return!

He makes everyone smile and is a pleasure to be around. He is amazing.El Rey Juan Carlos and Miriam in the pool bar will provide you with drinks, laughs and smiles. The food is great, chef Carlos will cook your protein to perfection. The place is very clean and all staff do their best to make all guests enjoy this beautiful place.I can't wait to go back!

I’ve given 3 stars due the food. It was awful. Nothing went with anything. The worst food I’ve ever had in a hotel. The chips and pizza were the only decent food. We were all inclusive but ended up going out most evenings to the restaurants down the hill. The location is good and lovely views. Though Some less mobile people might struggle walking up the hill to hotel. The rooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. Had great sleep every night.Rooms could have been cleaner. The floor was filthy and wasn’t mopped once during our week long stay. This could be a great hotel if it wasn’t let down by the food.

We have given this a 3 star overall rating.Hotel:The hotel itself is nice, plenty of places to relax, staff are helpful at the reception and around the dining area. The swimming pools are salt water and pretty cold. There is always plenty of sun loungers to choose from. We travelled with our baby and there is plenty of access available for the plan including a lift to get to the upper pool.Food:We really struggled at dinner time to find things to eat, there was no English to explain what things were and a lot of it was either cold or very unappealing. There was always plenty of choice for dessert and a great salad bar. Breakfast was fine, and plenty of things to choose from.Room:We had a family sea view room which was fine. There was little space available with all the beds made up. It wasn't the cleanest as there was hair in the bathroom around the toilet area, very dusty as well. The air conditioning is a bit naff and isn't very cooling. We had the filter replaced and it still didn't reach below 17°.Location:The hotel is in a good area. There is plenty of restaurants and shops near by to go to, we went down to the beach front everyday for a walk and it was lovely. You can walk all the way along following a walkway which is very accessible. The hotel is at the top of a steep hill so keep this in mind when getting shopping or if you have a pram/walking aid. There are busses and taxis available though.Overall our experience has been good. The hotel advertises as a family hotel but I would definitely say it is more of an older child family place as there is not a lot for toddlers to do and there is a lot of funny looks given if your baby is unsettled at any time. We only spent a short time in the bar salon as it was very loud and we were unable to hear each other speak. Drinks can be expensive but the measures are very generous.

Generally speaking, a nice stay in a nice hotel. The staff are mostly very nice. One member was staggeringly rude and ignorant. We only ever saw and interacted with her once. The food was great and I'm a fussy sod. The only thing I would have liked to seen during meal times was more of a selection of desserts that weren't cold, I have sensitive teeth and can't do cold stuff etc.Rooms were actually quite nice, very quiet and had nice bathrooms. The in room AC was a bit lack luster and constantly put out dust around the room. The lifts felt like a death trap, always rattling, knocking and one of them jumped around quite a lot, we did complain (like others) but nothing happened the whole time we were there. The roof top bar was very nice and peaceful, with a small pool, a bar area, restaurant and large seating and relaxation area. The location was quite good for views and lots of peace and quiet but it was a bit of a trek on pavements that were dodgy to say the least and weirdly had lamp posts stuck right in the middle of them.But... Overall, it was OK.

The hotel is really nice. Rooms and general hotel area kept to a high degree of cleanliness. Staff helpful and friendly.Only 2 things let it down. We stayed on a B&B basis so only had breakfast but found this could have been better. Some of the food in the hot buffet was cold/warm. The food containers were not replenished in a timely fashion. The other issue was the free bus into town. Considering the size of the hotel, there should have been multiple buses paid on and more frequent as we never got to use it due to sheer demand.Based on the cleanliness of the hotel and the staff helpfulness and friendliness I would still recommend

We had a great family holiday here. Never felt over-crowded, food was ok, room tidied daily, great attention from staff at all times, our children loved the evening entertainment. Only small gripe I would have would be the pool depth (1.5 & 1.7m) a bit too deep for kids to play freely.

Stayed in this hotel and found reception was manned by a very rude young guy who informed my wife in a terribly blunt manner he was only doing check outs. Certainly no way to speak to customers. We found the rooms had no air conditioning in the room. Our friends were on the same block of rooms and also had no air conditioning. Very poor. The showers are death traps with no shelves or handles, with the shower tray that was very. very slippy like frozen glass. The bed was adequate. Tea, coffee and water was good especially the bottles water. The food in this hotel was fabulous and I had to say I was very impressed by the choice of food available. Very fresh and very helpful staff at the restaurant. On check in and being disabled we were given a room which had access up a flight of stairs with our luggage. There was no access to a lift in this area that went to this block of rooms. We did struggle and managed to eventually get our luggage up the stairs. We did have large suitcases. On exit I asked at reception if someone could bring our luggage down and only one young girl was helpful enough to come upstairs and assist. She was the redeeming factor of this hotel and should be commended for her professional and concerned approach. Most of the other customer service staff could do with some training tbh.

Good location and nice hotel but the food and coffee is awful. The hotel is very tidy and rooms/pool area are very clean. Although a little noisy, not people but the bingo/aquafit soundtrack. The spa is gorgeous and really recommend a visit. The biggest let down is the food. If you like flavour id recommend eating out. They sold us half board on check in but it’s really not worth it and I wish we hadn’t bothered. It’s also not very good for vegans or vegetarians.

We had booked at Gloria Palace on an all inclusive to celebrate a special occasion with family couples. On arrival we were greeted with a glass of prosecco which was welcomed on a hot day. When we went to our room, I was a bit disappointed as there was a palm tree in front of the balcony which blocked our view of the sea. I spoke to service manager Alberto Delgado who was very pleasant and said that he would give us a different room the following day.I can’t believe that he went out of his way to give us a wonderful room on the 5th floor, and made our holiday that much more memorable. All the service desk staff and the restaurant staff were very pleasant and helpful, the hotel was clean and the ambience was fantastic. There were plenty of sun beds around the pool area, the entertainment was good, but at times music was a bit to loud if you wanted to get to go to sleep early. The food was good and you won’t go hungry, and staff were quick at clearing up the plates made effort to make sure you were looked after. The hotel provides a free shuttle service Playa del Inglés and Maspalomas, you can walk to the Playa de San Agustín beach which is about 10mins walk down a hill from the hotel. All in all a fantastic holiday at Gloria Palace San Agustín.

Just back from 11 days at the gloria palace. Staff very friendly rooms very clean and spacious nice pool bar and loads of sunbed. Roof top bar excellent gorgeous strawberry daquiri and views are spectacular. Only thing let it down was the evening entertainment seamed that sang same songs and not very well organised and all rooms look over onto stage which dont stop till 11.30pm if your lucky. Shopping centre only 10 mins walk away has 2 supermarkets. Cant fault all staff from restaurants reception bar and cleaners. Great walks from hotel too. Noticed the staff assisted a wheelchair guy into the pool and out again and used a pool chair it also has a gentle slope to help with the 100% for this work

The hotel grounds are truly beautiful, with plenty of comfortable lounging options for relaxation. The service is excellent, and the staff is very friendly, speaking several languages – it makes you feel welcome right away. There are many activities available, like a great pool and evening program, bike rentals, and a spa, which makes the stay varied and family-friendly.The food is fine, served as a buffet – everything is good, but nothing exceptional. However, the vegan options could be more extensive, or a dedicated veggie section would be appreciated. The rooms are mostly clean, but if you look closely, you might find something to nitpick.A major downside is that the safe costs extra – this should be included in a hotel of this category. If you’re a fan of good coffee or espresso, it’s better to avoid it in-house.Overall, we had a lovely time and would happily come back.

I booked this hotel for my first solo trip away as I have an extremely hectic busy life and I just needed life to stop and reset. I booked for 2 weeks half board and it was an amazing hotel. Beautiful interior and great lay out!! The cleanliness is 100%. the rooms are cleaned every day with fresh bedding, fresh towels everyday and a few bottles of water are put in the room free of charge daily.Rooms were spacious and clean with a spacious balcony (table and chairs) , amazing view (I got a sea view room on 4th floor), there’s a TV, couch, fridge, plenty of wardrobe space and a really nice modern bathroom! You could choose if you wanted the maid to come in daily leaving a sign on the door! The pool area was clean, I read reviews before going of people saying they had trouble getting sun loungers but being on my own I never had an issue with that! The spa is amazing (have to pay extra) I had a few treatments and used the indoor spa pool a few times to relax. All the staff were amazing and friendly!!I’d say for a solo traveller or for your first holiday alone this hotel is perfect! Everything is so close together and it feels like a safe environment. My balcony was just a perfect view so I could watch the nightly entertainment from there if I wanted to if I didn’t feel like coming down to the main area. The roof top bar was beautiful the staff were really friendly and the food was delicious! (have to pay extra to use the pool up there in the day if you want to sunbathe up there)The waiting staff for meals were amazing and quick to serve you and clear any plates/glasses away they were always on the ball. My favourite waiter there was Araceli Perez very warm and welcoming and beautiful and always served with a smile! She gave me a sense of comfort with me having my first solo holiday so I’d like to say thank you to her for that!! Best waiter there and great at her job!!The only downsides I find in the hotel and this was more of a flaw is sometimes being asked what my room number was for drinks orders without any proof of my card. ( I always preferred to pay there and then or scan my room card as I was half board) this concerned me a little as anybody could say a random room and add on drinks to somebody’s bill. They need to ensure a room key is present every time and prove your room number, also being a solo traveller I didn’t feel comfortable saying my room number out loud. That’s the only flaw I found and this was more in the day time around the pool bars as dinner waiters always scanned your card so that was fine! The beach and a shopping centre were only a short walk away, hotel called you taxis if you needed them. You got given a towel for your sun lounger, food was great! It was the perfect environment for a chilled relaxing holiday and I came back feeling brand new!Overall amazing first solo holiday experience and I loved it that much I’ve booked to come back next September already for another break. amazing hotel! Would recommendLaura 🙂

This hotel is very good, staff are brilliant and the location of the rooms looking towards the sea and the entertainment is incredible. I think this is a perfect hotel for a family and couples. The location is a bit out of the way, not too bad if you’re looking for a quieter holiday. There is a local shopping centre with a few restaurants and the beach isn’t too much of a walk. The lovely reception will happily order a taxi that will arrive in about a few minutes we have never waited more than five minutes. Would definitely recommend. You probably need to buy a lot of taxis depending on what type of holiday you’re looking for. The food is okay, we were only on the breakfast board, the only thing I would improve on in the area is adding hash browns. Would definitely recommend for the price. Also entertainment at night is fabulous, always have great singers on til late. The hotel itself is gorgeous and always very well cleaned, will make sure we share this with our friends and family.

There is a sofa and coffee table in the room tv and two seats and table on the balcony a rail to dry things on some towel pegs are handy as it’s known for gusts of wind here. Saying that we only had one day where the wind got up slightly. The views from the balconies wow not only sea views but pool and entertainment too.SERVICE:Two bottles of water and tea and coffee replenished every day.The room was cleaned to a good standard everyday, towels and bedding changed daily. Our cleaning lady a very pretty girl from Venezuela was lovely and used a translate app on her phone so she could speak with us. I lost my purse which I’ve had since our honeymoon 25 yrs ago so it’s got sentimental attachment, when I woke to find it wasn’t in my bag and couldn’t find it in our room I went to reception who had not got it. I retraced my steps as you do and went to the table we had sat at the night before. It was nowhere to be seen I asked the Cleaning lady near by in my poorly spoken Spanish if she had seen it. I managed enough words for her to understand and although she hadn’t found it she beckoned me to follow her. We went and asked every person cleaning around the entertainment area then she took me to the pool area and asked there, we then went up to the sun bed deck where we asked all the cleaners there my room maid was among them and she said she would look extra carefully for when she cleaned my room. The ladies could not have done more to help me and I am very thankful for this. I was pleased to be able to run over to them sometime later when my purse and contents had been found. The lifts where abit over worked as there where only three to 8. Or more floors. I did walk up to my floor a few times but the thigh burn killed my enthusiasm along with one evening I decided to walk up but the lighting was too dim and I miss judged the step and caught my flip flop on the next one up and face planted as I fell up the stairs dropping my coffee and the cup and saucer smashing as I fell. Results multiple cuts grazes and bruising. The maintenance man came passed one day when my door to my room was open and asked if it was cold enough and tried to show me. How to work it properly. Everyone was very friendly which leads me to the waitresses and waiters. They were all very helpful Especially Claudia, Juan Carlos , Insa and Rosi they were lovely people. mi amigo Insa who along with Claudia helped me with my Spanish was a very energetic personality who with great rhythm getting everyone involved with water aerobics and poolside games. Juan Carlos was great with our 19 month old grandson who would look for him waiting for his smile and hug. Rosi was both waitress and attended one of several bars she is a buena persona I kept my promise I put you on the internet haha. With my poor Spanish and her few words of English we still managed to strike up a friendship and good conversations. I loved her happy bubbly personality mi Amiga always xxLocation: location was good not far from a beach , player del ingles, Maspolomas and Puerto Rico in easy reach taxi good value and easy to get.Inclusive: we were a little disappointed with the ice cream around the pool and the non existent evening snacks

I spent 7 delightful nights at your hotel with my partner from September 5th to September 12th, and let me tell you, I was absolutely thrilled! The pool was so well-kept that I half expected to see Olympic swimmers diving in, while I just splashed around like a very unathletic dolphin. The room? Spotless! I think I could've licked the floor if I were feeling particularly adventurous. Now, let’s talk about the food—oh, the food! It was superb! There was so much variety that even the pickiest eaters could find something to tantalize their taste buds. And since I’m a fish fan, I felt like I was living in underwater heaven with all the options swimming onto my plate. If I were a fish, I’d have definitely given you five stars! As for the alcohol, well, I don’t drink, so I can't comment on that. But judging by the giggles I heard throughout the hotel, it seemed like people were having a great time! Now, I can’t forget to mention the staff. Everyone was lovely, but I have to give a special shout-out to our waiter, Daniel Leon—at least that’s what his name tag said. This guy was so charming that I thought about adopting him. He was incredibly friendly and made our dining experience all the more enjoyable. If there were awards for “Best Hotel Employee,” he would definitely win, and I’d be there to wave my foam finger in the air!I can’t forget to mention about very friendly bartender at the snack bar—though, for the life of me, I can’t remember his name. He was so nice and polite. However, it wasn’t all sunshine and unicorns. There were a few downsides: first off, a lack of air freshener in the bathroom. After a shower, I felt like I needed a lifeguard for the floor because it was a bit of a slip-and-slide situation with all that water. And the biggest downside? The sunbathing shenanigans! People were already reserving their poolside loungers from the crack of dawn, and some didn’t even use them! Talk about rudeness and selfishness! I mean, come on, are we really starring in a competitive lounge chair blocking event here?I’d like to add one more thing: I am a non-smoker, and it was particularly unpleasant to see people smoking by the pool. This should be prohibited. I don’t want to passively inhale that poison while I’m trying to relax at the pool.In conclusion, thank you for an amazing stay! I’ll definitely be back—preferably with a larger appetite and maybe a fish costume! 🐟🎉

I stayed here from the 16th to the 23rd of July 2024.I went with the full board deal but when I got there upgraded to all inclusive for an extra £20 a day. I drink more coke zero than anything so it was really just for convenience.I have to say, I don't think I can actually find anything really negative to say about the hotel itself. It is clean, my room was great, all the staff were brilliant. Never really had to wait to get a drink at the bars. Food wise I am actually pretty fussy but whilst it wasn't always amazing never worried about not having something decent to eat. I don't eat pork and one day the chef at the grill even ran off and got me a couple of pieces of steak and made them for me!!Restaurant staff were all lovely, in particular one lady, Lisa or Luisa Suarez.Maybe the only slight issue was that the pool is a bit small for the number of guests. There was ALOT of young kids which I don't mind tbh, it's good energy, but the pool isn't for peace and quiet lol. However there are terraces around the pool area with more sun loungers so I did both. One other minor criticism was that they could have put a moisturiser dispenser in the bathrooms. My room was on the 8th floor which had an excellent view. I didn't check out the more exclusive chill out area on the 9th floor as I didn't feel the need. But I paid less than £100 a night all inclusive for a modern perfectly clean hotel, 10 minutes walk from the beach and you just can't complain. There is small shopping centre with a Spar and restaurants down the road but I didn't try any of it and the beach was not golden like Maspalomas, more the muddy type of sand like Mogan.I went on my own to just de-stress for a week and I never really left the hotel which I didn't mind at all. Good wifi but rubbish tv.One other point, if you're travelling light, save yourself the 45 euro cab fair, the bus is 3.50 and drops you at the bottom of the hill to the hotel. Its 10-15 minutes walk but all uphill, a bit knackering but worth 40 quid!! :DHighly recommended and thank you Gloria Palace.

This place is like a dream. We very much enjoyed our stay. Awesome view to the ocean from the clean room. The food is delicious and changing each day which is a nice perk. The roofbar is astonishing with the view from there. Its a nice touch that every evening there are live performers, most of them with clear and lovely voices. Very friendly staff and professional effort by them. At one dinner our table was cleaned by mistake while we went to take another plate, but Jamal the waiter realised this before we could notice and while we sat down again he was there again with replacement drinks and siverware which got taken away, very nice situational awarness from him while a couple of hundreds of people are having dinner. The spa is nice and the pools are filled with salty water, if the saunas would be more accessible in the spa that would be perfect as well.

The rooms are well cleaned but could do with a freshen up decoration wise. Service was great throughout. Staff very helpful and polite. Located on a hill so getting to it can be a little tiring if you’re not so actively mobile

We stayed for a week all inclusive via EasyJet holidays. We tend to prefer non-package holidays, but in the past have enjoyed stays in 5* resorts. However, due to the price this time around we opted for something slightly cheaper.Good stuff:The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the food was good with quite a lot of variety. One night there was a sushi chef and that was really enjoyable. The pools were warm and the children really enjoyed the children’s splash pool. The grounds were very well kept and clean. Staff were very friendly and made us feel really welcome, housekeeping did a really good job; we appreciated the little touches such as having water bottles replenished regularly. There’s also a nice beach about ten minutes walk away and a free shuttle bus to a couple of spots in Maspalomas. We enjoyed a treatment in the spa, which was quite pricey but no more than usual for these places. It was good. The thalassotherapy pools again were nice but I’m glad we got access as part of the massage as it’s very expensive to access otherwise. The gym is really good - actually one of the best equipped gyms I’ve been to in a resort such as this. There is also a small arcade and some pool tables for guests to use.Bad stuff:The biggest issue we had as a family with small children (4 and 7) was that the family suites are laid out so that the children’s bedroom is right behind the main stage with really loud entertainment that went on until midnight. It was far too loud in there and kept the children awake. Tired kids are not an ingredient for a harmonious holiday! We ended up having to put the children in our bed, and they still weren’t getting to sleep until gone 11pm - which, as most parents of young kids know, is a recipe for disaster. The children’s evening activities didn’t start until 8pm which was again way too late. One evening there was a magic show at 22:30!The “all inclusive” offering is not all inclusive (smoothies, crisps and milkshakes for example are extra), and the cocktails were absolutely disgusting - premixed from a machine - they all taste the same: like sugar mixed in water. Likewise, juices are not fresh and don’t taste good. You can spend extra for proper cocktails, but they’re expensive. I would expect properly made cocktails and milkshakes to be included. We weren’t given information about the hotel by reception when we checked in about things like the in-room safe (which needs a deposit), the courtesy bus or the pool towels. These were all things we needed to find out about later. On their own these are tiny things but details all add up and it was a bit strange. The hotel is very large and the pools are quite small. There’s very little space both around and in the swimming pools. A lot of the time there are no lifeguards and only one person monitoring all three pools which means teenagers acting up can at times spoil the experience for others, especially on the slide.Similarly, meal times are like feeding time at the zoo - far too many people in far too small a space. I dread to think what it’s like in mid-summer. Options ran out quickly (although they are replenished) and it was noisy and chaotic. There were queues for the food during meal times and at the bars during the day. Sometimes it took more than 15 minutes to get a soft drink.I think this hotel is reasonable, and could be really great if you’ve got teenagers or no children, and are looking for something good but less expensive than the 5* options. For families with young children though I’d give it miss and take yourselves somewhere quieter.

Good clean hotel with great facilities. Service was good ,although at times slow. The language barrier meant incorrect, missing orders. There's not much around the area if you want to venture out, but only 10 mins in a cab to maspalomas. Food was generally good with wide selection. Entertainment at night is loud, which could be a problem if you are trying to get the kids to sleep. Only three lifts working, which at times meant getting from the restaurant / bar to your room, could take a while during busy periods.

The hotel, pools, bars and entertainment were very good. Staff all great couldnt do enough for you. Particularly Rita in resturant and outside drinks co-ordinator in stage area.If any walking difficulties hotel is top of a steep hill and quite a distance from sea. Nice hotel with a great view towards the ocean. Nice rooms and serviceminded staff. The music at night is so loud that our eight month old baby couldn't sleep. Will not stay there several times because of the music. The food is not all that. 30 euros for dinner which is very expensive due to what you get. Other than that; Good hotel!

Very good hotel... We had a junior suite, fantastic room and view! Only bad that the airco didn't work... reported 2 times at the reception on our 4 night-stay. And 1 time to a maintenance guy, he said that it was a problem in the whole hotel and that it would take 1 hour to fix. But has never been fixed :-(. If it was fixed, guaranteed 5 stars review then... We were on vacation, so didn't want to discuss about it 😅.

The sauna and steam rooms are an additional price to the pools which is ridiculous as it costs alot to use them as it is. The 'premium' section was empty and don't see why it's not included when every other spa we have been to this has been included. The hotel rooms are nice but the corridors can get noisy so it disturbed our sleep. The lifts are slow and it takes a long time to get down from the higher floors especially In busy periods. I also find it ridiculous that after paying over £1500 for my holiday I have to pay additional fees for an in-room safe when this is not a luxury, it is a necessity.

We spent 7 nights at this hotel and we absolutely loved it.San Agustín: it is a small holiday village. Playa del Ingles and Maspalomas are very close to San Agustín. There is a shuttle bus from the hotel to Playa del Ingles and Maspalomas (gratis, twice a day).Room: we booked a family room (2 adults+3 children, they are 8, 11 and 13 years old). For the 3rd child there was a couch which was comfortable, he liked it 🙂 The family rooms are in the annex building, with easy access to the pool. I think it is better to stay on the 2nd or 3rd floor (nicer view from the room).Food/restaurant: we loved it, for us it was perfect. The staff is very-very friendly. I would like to thank the manager of the restaurant (? I think he is the manager of the restaurant, I'm so sorry, I forgot his name, a very friendly young man in gray suit) for his kindness. He was always very nice, helpful, kind.Services: we only used the fitness room and the main pool, both of them were fine.Overall we loved the hotel, I would recommend it, and we plan to return.

We stayed a week in this hotel in March. We had a double room with sea view. We really loved our stay and would recommend this hotel.StaffStaff really make the place, they are all smiling, gentle and attentive. They come to serve you quickly.RoomThe double room was spacious and clean with modern furniture. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious (great shower). The balcony was spacious as well and we spent a lot of lovely time there.FoodFood was good, varied enough. Desserts were a bit repetitive but to be fair once you have had several plates of the main dishes you don’t have that much space left for dessert anyway! Every day there were various meat, fish, salads etc etc, there is something for everybody. Only small criticism would be that the “theme” of each day, i.e. Mexican, French, etc is not really followed, it would be nice to have more specialties from each countries and more Canarian specialties to try.DrinksWe were half board so can’t comment on all inclusive but the cocktails were really good, especially on the top terrace where the barmen made the best pina coladas.AmenitiesThe gym is of a really good size with good enough equipment. The top terrace is amazing with a great panoramic view.Pools are good although quite deep for kids and people who can’t swim. There are plenty sun beds however, it would be nice to have more parasol, they could do with double the amount actually. There is a tennis and padel club at the top floor of the hotel however it is not part of the hotel itself. We believe it is around £20 per hour which is a bit expensive but if you are a group of four it’s acceptable. We would have quite liked to try padel too but did not get the opportunity.EntertainmentDay time entertainment is lovely, with competitions organised for petanque, table tennis etc. It’s quite fun and you receive a diploma! There is also some aqua gym. The staff organising these are lovely. You have a thirty minutes disco for kids every night and then really good evening entertainment from around 20.30 til 23.00 with various live acts; quality singers (tribute acts usually) and also some jugglers etc.Surrounding areaA short walk from the hotel is a little shopping centre with a Spar and various restaurants. We would recommend Helamore for ice cream or light lunches (nice sandwiches and cakes). Yes it’s a bit uphill to go back to the hotel but if you are reasonably fit it’s really no bother. The bus stops are just next to this shopping centre and buses are really good, on time and cheap which is a nice change from the UK! You can go to Maspalomas or even Las Palmas easily. There is also a direct bus to Puerto de Mogan.Things to doWe walked to Maspalomas dunes which took us around 1h15, there is a lovely promenade all the way. On the way you can also stop at Playa del Ingles. We visited Las Palmas but were a bit disappointed, the old town is nice but quite small. We went to Puerto de Mogan on a Friday to see the market but frankly would recommend avoiding this day. The market is huge but full of the cheap stuff you see everywhere, nothing really local or handmade and it makes the town even busier so would definitely advise going on another day.One trip we would really recommend if you are happy for a full day away from the hotel is to take the bus 18 from Maspalomas to Tejeda. The bus journey itself is worth it, it takes nearly 2h but you are rewarded with the most beautiful landscapes (the roads are really windy though so not for people with transport sickness). Tejeda is also a really lovely village with a beautiful bakery. We then took the bus 18 back and stopped at Ayacata and climbed to Roque Nublo which was a beautiful walk. We then took the 18 back to Maspalomas. So it was a really full on day but really worth it in our opinion. In summary, we’d really recommend this hotel. We could have stayed longer and would definitely come back.

This hotel was better than I ever imagined. I could not fault it, it absolutely exceeded my expectations. My room was huge! ForSomebody that solo travels most of the time I’ve had my fair share of room sizes, this felt like a palace for me lol. They had such a wide range of amenities in the hotel, they have a spa, a massive water park for children. Excursions that you can book from the hotel. Breakfast was wonderful and they had such a wide range of choices. I only had the breakfast option, but I did order room service on two occasions for the evening from the set room service menu they offer. Very pleased with the service. The most rewarding thing for me was the balcony and the view overlooking the area. Beyond beautiful, I would come back to this hotel in a heartbeat. The only fault would be the hotel is on a slight hill, so if you struggle with mobility it might not be ideal!

We came to this hotel to celebrate our 5-year wedding anniversary and relax a little. The first impression was pleasant, the reception was kind and welcoming. Together we spend 1 week in this hotel. The impression of the room was avrige due to the wear and tear of the room. We had the junior suite sinks were very old and broken, I think the interior is bad , just like the bathroom with a bath. We would  always shower in the bath because the water does not go down in the shower. Room cleaning overall is avrige. Even the bar was dirty ,you can see it is not too well clened. The Main restaurant had all the meals for the buffet, I can't say anything bad, every night something is different. Once a week there is a spianish kitchen and there was also a sushi night. In other evnings there was live music which was pleasant. The service was kind and fast. There was also entertainment here, which is a one-time event, so you can see something new every night. We also went to the thalassotherapy center and we recommend that you definitely go there as well as to the spa. There is a restaurant at the top, which of course has to be paid for separately, but we always go there to drink cocktails because they are much better than the ones that are included. For the price I would recomend it but not All inklusive.

Good hotel that offers all-inclusive stay. Nice pool area and more. Rooftop bar and pool (not in the all-inclusive but good prices overall). Spa, gym, bike rental and more. The views from the upper rooms and the rooftop bar offers a nice view of the sea. Sunset around 18:00 in January.Food is pretty good but if you’ve been to all-inclusive buffet before it’s the typical mass made stuff. Overall happy with it and we travelled with a big group of 32 people and buffet was the way to go.Rooms are nice. Presidential suite is amazing. We had a few single and double rooms also. Cleaning every day with water refill.Close to nightlife and other activities also. A 10-15€ cab ride takes you most places. Maybe 15min walk to the beach. Can recommend.

They advertised “partial ocean view” but it was, in fact, total ocean view facing eastward. We saw the sun rise every morning.Staffing were very helpful, welcoming, and kind.Beds were really hard if you like that level of comfort.Great location. Away from the touristy sections that are west. Buses are available to go wherever you want on the island.
The minus in the hotel is the buffet. It could have been presented better. Old fruit shall not be displayed. The dessert buffet was sad. Not many tasteful choises. Fresh grilled fish and meat was the best. New year buffet; amazing! Their staff are proffessional smileing people. Only one waiter annoyed me, she nearly screamed, like we were old people who lost their hearing aid. She really scared me, during one dinner. All in all a really well functioned hotel, bravo!

Stunning resort, people very friendly and polite. Beware of ,,All Inclusive" because not all is. 10 minute walk to the Beach. Good choice of local and European food. Family rooms not only give you a more room, but it's also next to pool. View from roof terrace and bar are not to be missed. Be prepared for Spanish laid back attitude across all services.

Big let down is the noise, doors banging, thumping of people walking above the room, noise from outside, kids screaming until all hours, people moving furniture, not very relaxing and not much sleep! Food is not great either, breakfast isnt up to much neither is dinner. Rooms are lovely comfy bed and the rooftop is beautiful and relaxing. Staff have been very welcoming. I give this hotel 5 stars due to the following:1. first staff greeting and attitude so polite and friendly that we felt already welcomed specially mr. Cyro was very kind and helpful.2. Rooms are just like on the photos, they are clean and new.3. You never find dirt, hair, mold at all in the hotel or hotel rooms.4.Buffet quality high, warm food, taste natural. Perfect decorating and facility.5. We would give a 4 to 5 star hotel standard. We checked in yesterday and happy with our room at 5th floor.6. All rooms have sea view and balcony and you barely hear disturbing noises.7. Live music every night8. Outdoor and indoor swimming pools perfectLove and kissFilip & Samireh

The hotel room is comfortable, and the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. However, there are some drawbacks, such as the loud evening entertainment and the late start of the children's program. What is particularly disappointing is the quality of the food, which often seems hastily prepared and lacks attention to detail.

We have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions and have been very satisfied. However this year we felt that the choice of food had reduced and there was a lot of repetition in the evening entertainment with the same singers signing the same songs on different nights. We will have to consider if we go again.

Nice and clean hotel. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Manuel the bar manager looked after us like family. Waiters were very attentive especially Francesco, Kevin and Eliazer. Alejandra always had our drinks made to perfection. One of the waiters called Pedro was rude and ignored us all week. The food was standard hotel food, would have been nice for a bit more variation and if the food was labelled properly. Could have done with more variety of desserts. The pool was a bit small for the size of the complex. Our room was nice and spacious and our cleaner Monica attended to all our needs.

"Compared to my other all-inclusive trips, it was the best one for the value. The staff were really friendly; everyone had a smile on their face. The food and breakfast were not a huge buffet, but it was better than hotels in Turkey that have six rows of buffet with the same low-quality food. So, I will recommend it.""The photo was taken from the roof lounge."

We stayed at the hotel for 11 days. Some comments regarding our stay:1. there is no children's pool (paddling pool). there are two swimming pools (free for use), one with a depth of 150 cm and the other 165 cm2. On the snack bar no information regarding “free” - all inclusive staff. Some of them are additional paid. Small menu and also food at certain times - pizza etc3. cleaning needs improvement. family room not entirely clean. same area for swimming pools and restaurants4. lifeguard only in the pool with a depth of 150 cm. additionally, in the scope of duties, cleaning and other cleaning works.5. animations, or rather the lack of them. If you are traveling with a child, do not look on great attractions. 30 minutes of animation as "mini disco". then concerts and from time to time a show for adultsPositive things1. Very nice big room - family with 2 separate rooms2. Breakfast, lunch, dinner- enough food3. Hotel staff careSummaryIf you are looking typical “all inclusive” hotel/ attractions - you won't find it here. Small local hotel typical for adult.

Fabulous hotel with lots to do for the kids. The kids club people are great my grandaughter aiyla loved going there and it's on twice a day every day. There was lots of choice with the food tho a few more kids meals would be ideal. If I was to say anything to improve this hotel it would be to have a kids pool which is not so deep and has a shallow end. The food on an evening could be warmer. And if your paying all inclusive you should be entitled to premium drinks. Overall we had a great time .

Absolutely lovely hotel with a great reception area and all areas were spotlessly clean and tidy. Room's were very spacious with a good size double sinked bathroom with large walk in shower and clean towels every day. Large pool areas and no trouble getting a sunbed, all the staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was spacious and the food was very good with a great selection each day, the restaurant staff were very efficient and smartly dressed. There was nightly entertainment which was ok but could've been better for a 4☆ and more bar staff in the evening would've been helpful as there were always long queues. There are also showers and towels available if your pickup time is late which is always very welcome. The hotel runs a free shuttle bus which ran daily to the local resorts of Playa de Ingles and Masapalomas which we made good use of and local taxis were cheap enough to use. Because of the hotel's position it wouldn't be ideal for the elderly or those with a disability as there is a fairly steep hill climb up from the sea front. But overall our experience was very good and we had a brilliant holiday and we would definitely return, certainly one of the best hotels we've stayed in.

Lovely place, big place too. The rooms are lovely. As a wheelchair user had to work with tight spaces in some places The car park is always full. Can't use a wheelchair in the toilet and no ramp to the balcony but it had a beautiful view! Other than that with family support it is a beautiful place. When going out to the hotel for a walk and places some paths too narrow and deep use the road for a short while some got lift to get to shops

Hotel is very clean, modern and got everything you need. We were on a all inclusive holiday and the food was very good. Alot of choice and variety, meat, fish, salads, burgers, hot dogs, cakes, themed nights and show cooking. Something for everyone. The drinks options are vast and can pick from local alcohol or named. The main bar is very quick to serve you but the pool bar is a little wait. The cleaners do not get enough credit, they are fantastic. They are there all the time, cleaning everything and everywhere. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and make jokes with you and make you feel very welcome. The only letdown was the evening entertainment. The mini disco was the same 6 songs every night with the same dances. Half the entertainment staff didn't even know the dances or put little effort in. The main entertainment was advertised for the week and two nights, they didn't show up. The singers can only be described and mediocre at best singing over karaoke versions of songs. They did have a circus act and a aerial act which were both good. The day entertainment was OK, lots of different activities around the pool, aqua aerobics, dancing, pool parties and DJ's, a fashion show. The main entertainer (Pablo I think his name is) is brilliant. Talks and interacts with everyone. He never stops and gets everyone involved. The hotel was filled with alot of families and children so not ideal if that's not what your looking for. Would recommend the hotel but I wouldn't return as too many children for us as a younger couple so quite alot going on and not very peaceful at times. They offer free buses daily to Maspalomas and Las Palmas which is good. Maspalomas is definitely worth a visit. Lovely shops, beach, restaurants. But if you want to get a taxi, it cost us €13 each way.

First of all let me start by just start by a few tips on taxis and buses.Bus 30 to playa del Englis, bus stop across from the shopping centre, 5 mins and 1.40 euro to playa del Englis and get off at Playa del Englis Hotel, walk to the front and walk down the steps.Taxis are at the shopping centre and if you have mobility issues, ask for playa del Englis and the journey will be 9 mins and 9 euro.If you don't mind walking down a few flights of steps, with bars and restaurants enroute then do the same route as the bus and ask for Playa del Englis Hotel, it'll be 5 mins and around 6 or 7 euro. The Hotel has a courtesy bus but it stops at 11.30 am hence the information above. Now then, I will firstly point out the things you should find at a hotel of this standard but won't.Functional air conditioning and hot food.An important point to remember about the hotel is the fact that DOGS are allowed!!.We had our air con checked but we're never able to get it below 23c😓 and they didn't have air con on anywhere else except reception now and then, yesterday it was 32c midday and 26c at 11pm.There is nothing wrong with the food here, it's well cooked and there is something for everyone and the restaurant area is spotless, the food just needs to be kept hotter whilst standing.Courtesy bus service needs to be on longer, I think it would be really useful if it was on until a few hours later, especially for people with mobility issues that want a day out in playa del Ingles or maspalomas.I know this must read as a negative review but it isn't, it's just mentioning a few tweaks that could be considered. The rooms are great, towels changed daily, clean, TV, fridge, coffee/tea kettle, hair dryer, two bottles of water per day, good shower, safe at 2.5 euro per day balcony and air conditioning stuck at 23c 😢😓.All the staff at this hotel are great, polite, helpful and courteous and they work really hard because this is a big hotel and there are lots of people to cater for.As for the roof top chill out area and restaurant, it's fantastic but it comes at a price. Standard sun bed 8 euro each per day, double sunbed 35 euro each per day and the restaurant menu you'll find on restaurant chill out Gorbea on Google maps, PLEASE read the reviews first.Would I stay here again?.. Absolutely!..but on b and b basis, not because of what I mentioned above, but because of the restaurants in the playa del Ingles area, there are lots of reasonably priced excellent places to eat and I would highly recommend Pizzeria Adio Mar in the shopping centre.

The stuff is friendly, especially at the restaurant. They are always helpful and great with kids! Reception service is a bit awkward and if you have a problem you might ask several time and control it yourself. One of the beds was not steady and as we learned later was dangerous to sleep on. We had to call reception 3 times before it could be fixed. The cleaning services could do a better job: floors were not too clean and there was dust on top of the cabinets. There are a few minor improvements that I would recommend, but overall we had a very pleasant stay. The location is perfect if you don't mind a bit of walking. And the view is great.

i came here for a week with my family to celebrate my two auntie’s 50th birthday. on arrival we were greeted splendidly by the reception team, with a gorgeous view of the grand hotel. after this, our experience was very mixed? i will list the good and bad below:GOOD: 1. the entertainment lead (guy with the wild curly hair) made us laugh and was such good fun! he had multiple activities on per day which gave you a chance to get active. 2. the pool area was well kept and lovely to relax around. lots of sun loungers and beds so you won’t struggle! 3. some of the staff went out of their way to make our stay amazing and would make us smile and laugh every second of the day. 4. there was a bar and pool on the top floor of the hotel (this is NOT part of all inclusive) and was so bloody lovely! the staff were amazing, the drinks were lush and the pool was beautiful.BAD: 1. the food at the buffet was very hit and miss and quite concerning as someone with allergies. we paid for all inclusive for the week, which is 3 times a day. they list the allergies above the dish, however they were incorrectly labelled. dishes that claimed not to have ingredients (i.e. milk, nuts, eggs, meat) very CLEARLY had them and caused me to have a reaction. this is POOR practice and could potentially kill someone. they also told us they had vegan options at the buffet..which was just chips. and salad. not worth 108€. if you have allergies, i highly recommend not eating here. the food was also quite frequently cold. 2. we were given two family rooms which on first glance were lovely, however caused a few problems. the rooms hadn’t been cleaned when we first came in with cobwebs everywhere and a massive ant infestation in one of them. the cleaners cleaned it straight away after we notified them, but the ant infestation went on during the week and it became disgusting. we couldn’t even finish a cup of tea on the side for 5 minutes, or leave a bag of crisps whilst we went to the toilet, before ants would be swarming. it was also where the tea station is so that was awful and unhygienic. the shower would also frequently flood which was concerning. 3. whilst some staff were amazing, a large amount of them were quite rude, obnoxious and ignorant. i understand it’s very stressful working in such a big hotel in scorching heat and constant pressure, but if this is such a struggle you shouldn’t work amongst guests.putting the good and the bad together, the bad slightly outweighed the bad. we won’t be coming back here, but it was still a lovely experience.

Lovely hotel, staff were very helpful. We had a day in the spa too which was great. Lots of lovely sunbeds are avaliable, can get a bit windy at times which is nice in the heat.Only had lunch and breakfast which was perfect. Drinks are reasonably priced and the Gin & Tonics were nice and strong😄Seems it was off peak and it was very quiet outside of the hotel. Not much around but taxis to near by places were cheap and easy to get to.I would return for a second visit.

Lovely hotel and nice rooms. Unfortunately housekeeping not always up to scratch - having to go to reception multiple times to restock tea/coffee/toilet roll etc. The hotel is nice lots to do but can be quite busy. Breakfast buffet - very good choice but the holding temperatures were very low and things were often cold (scrambled egg/potatoes/sausages etc). However fried eggs and bacon cooked continually and always hot and an omelette making station available every day - lovely omelettes! Entertainment at night was a little hit and miss. Only due to the fact the 'house band' didn't have much stage presence but did have lovely voices. Whitney Huston tribute was very good! All round entertainer. Flamenco also very good! Overall I did like the hotel and the reception staff are lovely. Bar staff in the lobby bar are also lovely.

Lovely family friendly hotel. The food is good and varied. However, if you've got a dietary restriction, it gets tricky as the buffet can get cross contaminated due to other guests' lack of care. Also, the allergen signs aren't always on top of the dish they signal. The pools are nice and clean, however some of the fixtures could do with repairs. There's sharp edges hidden underwater...The thalassotherapy area is beautiful and quiet. The jets will pummel the stress out of you.

It's a big hotel up on a hill, but at a decent walking distance from the beach. It's not a quiet hotel, even the rooms are noisy from the exterior events, like wind or music. The rooms are big, but the bathrooms are having a constant not pleasant smell, especially when showering. The food is basic and not the best quality, especially at the desserts area. There's also really rude that the staff is verifying your all inclusive by checking your card code. For sure, there is a more decent way to ensure your meal plan, without bothering the clients

They have 3 outdoor swimming pool, 2 on the ground floor and 1 on the rooftop, although I'm not sure if the one on the roof top is open for all. They have an indoor pool with spa facilities for which you have to pay extra. To use the locker, you have to pay extra. Breakfast is not included as standard. The rooms were good but for the price you pay you can find better deals elsewhere because here you have to pay extra for everything! Rooms were nice, and the breakfast was not bad, but I was told by others that food otherwise is not good, so good that we didn't go for half board or all-inclusive.

Had 2 stays in the last 2 months. Very impressive hotel and whilst I was only on Bed and Breakfast I was very happy with the options for breakfast. Rooms were clean and provided great views. Nice location and useful to have the free shuttle bus to the beaches. Would happily go back for a third visit

Was on vacation through a tourist agency. This is a big hotel up the hill from a nice beach. The greetings by staff were exceptional and the hotels times and amenities were well explained. The facilities were very good and well taken care of. We had a nice room overlooking the pool and sunbathing areas. Those are expansive. One note is that it appears that a lot of their hot water is solar, great energy savings. Very pleasant staff in all locations. The food was good but a bit on the plain side. We enjoyed the spa also. It is about 3/4 kilometers tot he beach. Also if you don't want all your meals a the hotel there are very good restaurants on the way to or from the beach. They also offer a shuttle to 2 other beaches. We would recommend that people stay there.

Hotel is fresh and nice. Some of the elevators were out of order and as there are many floors, people had to wait for ages to move between the floors.Breakfast was various and offered sth for every taste. Regular prices are rather high.I guess that the rooms with sea view are the only possible option, because other have a view to pool or building wall.

Family room is good value for money, nice facilities with activities for kids. Not crazy about the food, glad we only took the breakfast option, as there are plenty of nice restaurants nearby. Booking taxi through the hotel however has not been a good experience, airport pickup was never confirmed, although one did showed up when we landed. Also booked airport transfer for when we left but that never showed up either.

Beautiful location, not too rowdy but perfect for someone who is looking for a pleasant holiday. The real hustle and bustle is a €1 bus ride away (5 minutes). The hotel pool was not crowded with sun beds available most of the day (early September) weather was great. The hotel and facilities were very good indeed with spectacular views.

All inclusive. No free ice creams for kids(probably a good thing). Lots of steps. Main pool is small for the size of hotel.Nice room, plenty of food to choose from. Hotel is very clean and the pool area is washed down every morning.Overall a very enjoyable experience and holiday.

Blown away by the staff. I don’t rate accommodation usually as a bed is a bed, but Traveling with 2 under 2, I couldn’t get over how accommodating and genuinely caring staff are around kids. One cleaner I spoke to even showed me her photos of her own. Mini disco is a highlight for kids and the oools are great. Overall the place is well thought out and works great for families. Plenty of couples too with the top floor bar/pool/solarium which doesn’t allow kids. Beach is close by too, walk downhill and there is a great little shopping centre with a variety of bars and restaurants if you want something different. Probably one of the best trips and I have been on a lot.

Very comfortable hotel with spacious rooms. Our room was in the 7th floor with a sea view and a rather large balcony for slow paced evenings.Attentive staff, on the verge of annoying as they would take away your platter of food faster than you could eat it. Surprisingly enough, very few of them speak English, even in the reception.Nice pool area for both adults and children. Large and well equipped workout zone as well. Enough sun beds for the people at the hotel. The food is rather bad. Large dinner hall with a lot of noise. The staff bang the cutlery a lot when cleaning making the meals bothersome. A party of five all racked up food poisoning.A huge amount of noise from the hotel entertainment. The entertainment usually consisted of a few people butchering famous songs at full volume until 2 am making sleeping impossible.

The hotel and staff are amazing and can't do enough to help you.I would say that the hotel is at the top of a steep-ish hill so you may struggle if like me are pregnant, use walking aids or a pram/pushchair.The area is also very quiet with not really a lot going on but all very relaxing.I really enjoyed it here

Room nice, cleaned daily. Most staff were friendly and helpful. However the choice of food for vegetarians is very limited apart from plain vegetables, pizza and some of the salads. I spoke to several people working in the restaurant, maitre, wait staff and chefs and not once was I offered an alternative meal even though the hotel replies that they are happy to prepare a special dish. No hints as to which magic person I should ask.

Loved our stay here, beautiful and super clean. Excellent pools, lifeguard on duty, great kids club. Food was best all inclusive we have had (although we did all end up with dodgy tummies) . Drinks were in normal sized glasses and good variety. Could do with more snacks around pools etc. Towels available for hire for pool. It isn't in the most amazing location, but only €8 in taxi bus to masplamonas. Roof top bar is worth the whole visit. Was starting to get busier as we were leaving but plenty of sunbeds etc

Ate lunch and breakfast but refused to eat dinner there so we walked to the nearby mall with plenty of good restaurants. The food is ok but why settle with that when you are in a country with fantastic food everywhere.

Great hotel. Food good but not if you're a vegetarian as no "V"s on food labels and incomplete info. (I resorted to fish). Since my last visit the UK tv channels have been removed (over 100 stations, Spanish, French, Italian, Austrian and even Russian but no UK)

The room was nice but wouldn’t call it a sea view room when you can barely see the sea 🥲Cleaning lady was super nice and they brought a gift for our baby. The breakfast buffet was understaffed and missing healthy options. Tomatoes and cucumbers were always finished. Probably good for fans of English breakfast.

The staff is very friendly. The hotel is super clean. You have a great rooftop-terrace with a fantastic view. We also liked the pools and the fitness area. As for greeting we got a bottle of champagne, very kind! Some critic points ( justifieying - 1*):- I thought we booked a room with sea-view, but it was on the 5th floor where you don't have a sea-view- many areas were locked, especially the wellness area, although we searched for a hotel with wellness-offers

Had a fantastic holiday. Booked an All inclusive plus package with Jet 2.The food was delicious. Especially the steak and fish which was cooked for you. Plus lovely tuna pizza and hot dogs in the snack bar. Plenty to pick from. The place was very clean. They made sure everyone had a mask on in the restaurant. Felt safe.It would have been 5 🌟 if the indoor pool had been open, and made clear what was included in the all inclusive, as you had to pay for the Al la carte restaurant, cocktail bar pool and lounges on the rooftop, which gave you fantastic views.

Overall I would say this hotel is average. For the pros, the rooms are very spacious with nice views. They have been renovated to a nice standard. There are also a good range of facilities including a gym, table tennis, tennis/paddle (for an additional charge), pool, and a shuttle bus to the main centres of MaspalomasHowever the hotel is severely let down by the food. The quality is very poor. My group of five adults aren’t particularly fussy but found some of the food inedible. Other minor details let down the hotel- incl. only three lifts for a very large hotel which means you often are waiting a long time to go up to your room. Similarly there is often huge queues at reception as there are usually only two receptionists available and the hotels processes are slow which means delays build up. In addition, quite a few of the hotel staff can be unhelpful at times. There are also a couple of minor details which just undermine the experience e.g. no irons, noisy entertainment music near the bedrooms which goes on until 12 and charging guests for water at dinner.Overall, this hotel is fine if you- like us- are looking for a relatively cheap few days in the sun. However, i would avoid if you are looking for that full resort experience. My main advice to the hotel would be to investigate the food, which is by far the main thing that lets this hotel down.

Good:Nice large clean room with comfy bed.Reception staff extremely helpful and friendly.Beautiful hotel.Rooftop terrace was amazing, lovely pool and very kind staff.Bad:All inclusive food is not good, cold and tasteless, we ate there for breakfast and the buffet food was as cold as if it came out of the fridge, especially the scrambled egg. This is the first time out of 30+ holidays to Gran Canaria that I have seen broccoli and vegetables out for breakfast. We thought we would give it a second chance for lunch but this was just as bad, cold fish full of bones, even the breaded fish was full of bones which was unusual.Limited deserts all just mouses or the standard square little cakes. We ended up paying to eat in the roof top restaurant for the rest of our stay. The standard pool is incredibly busy with people reserving the sunbeds from as early as 7am.Its a shame because its a beautiful hotel but let down by the poor quality of food which would be 3* at best.More

On a week long break from the Irish Winter in January spent at the four star Gloria Palace is a great way to shorten the winter. The accommodation is excellent, the staff exceptional , helpful and very friendly. SAN Augustine is nice and quiet.Facilities are quite good, however the gym was only on a limited service as apparently it is being refurbished as is the spa. The restaurant has a good variety on offer. That said I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
