We had a mixed experience that included both positive and negative aspects. The kitchen stove proved to be a bit of a challenge as its operation was unclear, and it lacked any indication when turned on. Additionally, the heating power levels were not visible due to old faded markings. The toilet door presented a problem as well, as it couldn't be properly closed due to apparent deformation caused by humidity. Another aspect that could be improved was the sleeping arrangements. Two of the beds were adequate, but the other two had to be improvised using a sofa, which felt more like an "emergency solution." Safe and TV required extra payment to use. The room phone to call reception was non-functional during our stay. As positive, the apartment was rather clean, the pool and the location with respect to the ocean were ok.

Spacious, comfortable accommodation suitable for families and couples. Breakfast is great and the independent bar 'Taste' is a good place to spend an evening.

This place is amazing. The staff is super friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms are very clean and accommodating. The food is delicious no matter what you order you won't be disappointed. The prices are very reasonable for a vacation. It's a very short walking distance to the beach. We definitely come again and again.

We had the pleasure of staying in a duplex with two rooms which felt like a separate holiday for us while the teens stayed in apartment downstairs. The rooms were spotless and very spacious with air con throughout and amazing WiFi. The balcony outside the top apartment was ideal for catching the evening sun.Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our only disappointment was our rear garden consisted of dirt and weeds where other gardens had astro type grass which was cleaner looking and meant the full garden could be used.Other than that little glitch we all as a family loved the Caybeach and will definitely be making a return visit.

The rooms were excellent condition . The beds were really comfy. Private balcony was nice. The food was very good with plenty of choice for breakfast & dinner. Friendly, pleasant staff. Lovely pools & pool bar serving snacks & drinks. Supermarket on site & launderette. Great location with beach nearby & bus services.

Well kept rooms and gardens. Plenty of sunbeds and pools. Hotel around 15 minutes from the shops and beach. The only real downside is the cost of the drinks. 21 Euros for the cheapest bottle of wine which was awful and tasted like a cheap 2 euro bottle from the supermarket and half a pint of lager was 3 Euros which again was dreadful to the point where I left half of that.

Nice hotel clean and in great location, the pool bar is a disgrace they treat you like dirt, you might get a smile if you sit there 24/7 buying food and drink but god forbid you might want to pop out to see gran Caneria and pop in last thing for a drink, they will snub you and even ignore you, last night on holiday we popped out to nice resturaunt for a meal and went to the pool bar for 10 o'clock they actually said where have you been and why you turning up at this time for a drink when we are tired and want to close, It stays open till 11pm and was people in. They are just plain rude. Hotel reception was helpfully and informative for buses taxis ECT this has no reflection on the hotel staff, the bar is run separately and staff need an overhaul, we had over 10 other couples fomenting on the rudeness. Will not return for that reason there are 50+ bars who are happy for your custom.

We had a week with jet 2. It was quiet, nice location. Short walk to the promenade. Lovely walk in maspalomas. Food was nice with a good choice each evening. Pools were clean and everywhere was well maintained. only negative was the toaster at breakfast....we gave up because it took so long but no big deal!! found all the staff polite friendly and helpful.

Lovely room with a balcony, staff lovely. Food buffet very good. Very near to the promenade near the sea. If there was one thing I would say-the bath towels need updating. Andreas the activity guy great fun. Enjoyed his pilates lessons.

We had a terrific time at Caybeach Meloneras. The apartment was great (although the air con was a bit noisy and was only effective in the bedroom) and the terrace with a small garden was a lovely place to relax and share breakfast or a drink in the evening. The staff are really friendly especially the entertainment guy, Andrea, and the pool bar staff (sorry, I didn't pick up your names). Entertainment was provided most days and the aqua gym and bingo were a good laugh. There is a choice of pools suitable for the very young to up to more serious swimmers so all are catered for. Plentiful comfy sun loungers are provided along with parasols. The location is perfect for good access to the beaches, shops and bars being within a 10-20 minutes stroll. The complex is very well maintained with the cleaning staff coming by most days.I'm looking forward to my next visit so keep up the great work Caybeach team!

We've been here for a week now and we really like it, I would say it is above our expectations. We have been staying in a two-bedroom duplex which consists of a ground floor fully equipped flat with kitchen and an upstairs second bedroom with balcony, fridge and its own bathroom. There are three swimming pools, plus a baby Pole and a pool which has water buckets and water guns for the smaller kids. In the larger pools they do not allow inflatables or ball games which may be slightly annoying for those who have kids that want to play games in the pool. One of the big positives is that all the accommodation has its own somebody in areas and therefore the pool always has some beds available, there is no need to get up early and bag us on bed for the rest of the day! But they don't allow this. The location is set back from the sea front but you can walk to the beach within 10 minutes and also to plenty of local restaurants and bars. There is a good cafe/ restaurant /bar on site and there is also a good supermarket, there is a cash machine just outside the back gate of the hotel so everything is quite convenient. The mini market has most things that you need and we haven't had to go out to a larger Supermarket all week which is a real positive.

Clean and tidy we had an enjoyable stay. Pool areas are large and most of the time enough beds just not always right next to the pool when busy, food at pool bar was ok and a good enough choice. The bool bar staff were ok and worked very hard, you could see they were under pressure sometimes and not always smiling, but that is totaly understandable working very hard in the heat, we tipped them regularly as they did work very hard, I would say the service over all was good. A bit of a walk to main bars and resteraunts but it is a nice enough stroll along the sea front if you exit the pool gate and head straight across roundabout down the hill. Most of staff pleasant and I would recomend and probably stay again. No real complaints. Our room was a long walk from the entrance and exit and you must walk through reception at the top of a hill for access and to exit the comlpex but this does make it a secure complex. For an official rating of 3 star hotel it probably exceeded expectations. I would ignore the 1 star reviews as overall it is a nice clean and well run place. If you have a late flight home in peak season you can not reserve your room later than 12 noon but there are private showers in the gym and by all the the pools. Very nice stay and for a genuine and honest recomendation it is good. Not excellent nor is it poor in any way.

Hotel, rooms, location, service and staff all brilliant so far. However on the first night, arriving after the restaurant had closed, the hotel said that the chef would provide some food if we went back. We got a drink at the pool bar who asked if we would be eating and I told them the the hotel were sorting something. They said that we would be eating there and the guy said that he was the chef, so we got some food. When the bill arrived I questioned the food on the bill. I was told that the hotel and bar were separate businesses!!!! The hotel were of no use either. So don't get conned by lying locals who will say whatever they need to get your custom.

Enjoyed our stay, room was easy to find and cleaned most days, complex as a whole was maintained daily, staff were really friendly especially the pool bar staff and the young lad on reception who worked nights. thought the breakfast was abit expensive, 24 euros for 2 people, Andre who does the pool games and bingo was really good. Drinks at pool bar were abit steep but we just went to the on site shop which was quite cheap for drinks. The only downfall was people putting there towels down around the pools, think the staff could do more about that as they was there for hours on end without being used.. also there wasn’t enough umbrellas/parasols to go around, you’d be really lucky if you managed to get one.Would stay again

Lovely place, staff are helpful to a degree when approached. No real info given about facilitaties when u arrive. We found a few things by accident. It would be nice to be given more details on arrival. Maybe an info book in rooms. Only one on front desk that has some basic information in, difficult to access if other people are reading it as there's only one for whole complex. Map only has accommodation numbers and pools on. We didn't know there was a gym until last day when we overheard reception telling another customer where it was. Pool bar staff are not very friendly, professional by snappy and blunt.

We stayed in a double room. Nice rooms, not very large but have everything you need including a kettle and a small fridge. Good shower, although it did flood the bathroom floor if you didn't aim it right.Charge for the safe and TV. Used the safe but decided against the TV as it probably wouldn't have been worth our whileGreat pools. Comfy loungers. Great breakfast. Small shop on site.Short walk along the front to restaurants via the back gate. Good bus connection to las palmas and other resorts.Would definitely use again if I went back to the same area as it was super clean and well maintained.

I'm very pleased with my stay at Caybeach Meloneras. The food is better then the choices you have on the street if you look in to variation, good price and volume (loads of meat)The gym lighting is really good to see your tan, definition/separation/stration in your muscles. The room service always overwhelmed us with their skills. Don't be afraid if you forgot your underwear on the floor bc they fix everything.Their is a like a labyrinth to find your apartment. So make sure you have plotted your way to your room if you will come home drunk. Otherwise it will be hard to find the way home.

Perfect location on a quiet street 10 min walking distance from beach as well as city center. Lots of parking space at no charge near the hotel. 24 hour reception, cleaning 5 days a week, comfortable room with good AC and ample balcony. Plentiful breakfast buffet, small but well stocked minimarket. Pools, snack bar and massage/gym in the hotel area. Staff friendly and helpful. All in all a great place to stay!

There are numbers for any wallet. There are luxury apartments, with a territory and sun loungers on the balcony. There are simple apartments. There are just rooms without a kitchen. They are small. Suitable for two. The staff is polite. But mostly older people rest in the hotel.
So beautiful, far better than expected, newly renovated and nothing broken, a wonderful holday

Just returned from 10 day stay. Apartments are clean and spacious. A few things needed fixing -- bathroom door wouldnt close, window frames broken , patio door lock broken. Wi fi was non existent. Breakfast was good but evening meals were like school dinners. Distinctly average or just below. Pools were freezing , not heated at all until 2 days before we left . None of the fountains or jets were working . When we arrived the night lights around the complex were off . It was pitch black . Very dangerous as we couldnt see steps and our room was at the far end of the complex . The cleaners were lovely, but the reception and dining room staff were miserable apart from 1 lovely lady . All in all it was ok. With 3 stars you get what you pay for.

Jewel of a complex not more than a 20 minute stroll down the promenade and the restaurants and shopping by the Faro. Friendly bar but lunches were huge! Roomy clean apartments with comfortable beds. Recommend for self catering and returning next month. Just to make sure!

An incredible Choice

Generally speaking, the CayBeach Meloneras is an incredible choice if your idea of a perfect holiday entails lazy days in the sun, complemented by extremely comfortable surroundings. One can say that the resort boasts a top-notch location. It is only meters away from restaurants, cafes, bars and shops.

A Cozy Stay All The Way

The choice of rooms at the CayBeach Meloneras resort is twofold. The first option is a duplex, two-bedroom apartment with a balcony and terrace. If you are searching for a decent base for exploring the surrounding area, this is what you need. It has two floors. The ground floor is home to a kitchenette, bathroom, one bedroom and lounge with an additional bed. A staircase and door separate the two floors. The upper level is where you will be able to find another bathroom and bedroom. These apartments sleep 5. They also boast satellite TV and air-conditioning.

Accommodation Options

The second accommodation option is a one-bedroom apartment with a terrace, Air-conditioning, satellite TV and a lounge area are featured here. And if you are in need of some outside atmosphere, there is also a terrace. Max capacity is 4, with the additional child bed and also one extra bed in the lounge. So, as you see, the CayBeach Meloneras offers a practical selection. Choose wisely.

Cay Beach Meloneras Apartments, Meloneras, Gran Canaria

Amenities Fit For Kings And Queens

The outdoor area boasts quite a lovely pool scene. Every vacation has those well-known “unplugged days.” Those are the days when you just want to switch off and take in the surroundings, all the while basking in the sun. Those lucky days are all about you. And the CayBeach Meloneras resort understands that perfectly. That is why it made sure to give you a selection of three pools to choose from, should you get tired of the ocean somehow. And the swaying palm trees that dot the complex are only going to add to the overall relaxation factor. That is what everybody needs.

And, alas, we have come to the evenings. Evenings in Gran Canaria have a way of being especially incredible. Whether it is because of the ocean, the air or something else is irrelevant at this point. What matters is that the CayBeach Meloneras has plenty to offer here, as well.
