The Barbacoa British Bakery is part of the Barbacoa Gran Canaria, which is located in the Europa Shopping Centre on top of the hill in Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria.

The British Bakery turns into a Danish Bakery in the winter months, which all Scandinavians really appreciate. We have tested it and we can confirm it:  Their Danish dark bread is to die for – can’t get enough of it. And the English scones for example are as light as a summer breeze.

Simply said – the best baking products in Puerto Rico. We’re not talking about a Bake-Off Bakery. No. We are talking about the real thing homemade baking. On TripAdvisor people walk all the way up the hill almost every day of their holiday just to enjoy the “Patisserie” as they put it. On offer, during the summer months, you will find mainly English show-stopping baking products like: Victoria sponge cake, Shortbread, Jam tarts, scones and of course sausage rolls and meat pasties and pies.

Barbacoa Bakery Puerto Rico.

During the winter months, the bakery offers mainly traditional Scandinavian baking products like: rye-bread, hard crust bread rolls, Danish Pastry and so much more. So, if you’re in the neighbourhood why not start the day with freshly baked products. You know too well, where the lovely smell is coming from – Barbacoa own Bakery shop.

The bakery transforms into a TAKE AWAY Shop at 17.00 and stays open until 3am, fro kebabs, fish & chips or slice of pizza.

After reading all the good stuff about this place, i venture from las palmas to puerto rico for some good scones, this was about 15 hrs. wich according to this website was working hours, well it was closed and they only open the bakery when the tourist season kicks in wich should be august according to a waiter from the barbecue restaurant. So please update your information
