Amazing!! We booked for 1830 for our anniversary!! Highly recommend booking as it’s a small restaurant focused on relaxed dining . We were blown away by the service and the food. The owners have really done something fantastic - good service and tasty food. The taster was a bite size of heaven and proved that the meal would be superb. We opted for the two tartare meals as starters and the flavours were astonishing. We followed that with the special ravioli to share — and honestly I could have kissed the chef !! The sauce was silky and the filling divine. Puddings after again did not disappoint we shared the semifreddo and the baba- my husband was essentially in a food coma by now . To top it all off we have to say the young gentleman who served along the owner was fantastic !!! Both there recommendations on wine and food let us enjoy an amazing evening . 5 ⭐️

Such a hidden gem in Puerto Rico!So happy to find this place for some real quality food and not just pub grub tailored for tourists. And what a quality it was, we loved everything we got, only regret is not going earlier in our holiday to go back! Highly recommend the pork filet.Service was great and so accommodating! The views were a bonus! What a lovely little place. Thank you again Sonia and team.

Que Bien is not the most easy restaurant to find and visit, but actually their position on higher ground in the city matches their food. Being closer to heaven, so to say. Our reservation started with a appatizer, followed up with the daily special and ended with desert. As usual?.. Indeed but every round was exeptional good in balanced flavours, tasty and so well displayed on the plate that this evening will be in my memorie. What else: selection of very good wines, a very good vieuw over the city and harbour and.. there was Chris..our host from Canada, working with Italian owners and found of Spain. We had a lovely evening. Be sure to visit them!!

This might be the best restaurant in the town. We came twice and ordered almost half of the things on the menu, and every dish was extraordinary. The beef tartar was one of the best I’ve ever had, the cut was perfectly to my liking, hand chopped to moderate dices instead of minced. The homemade garlic mayo made the dish more creamy yet it got balanced with the refreshing mushrooms and pepper sauce flavors. The pulled beef served on corn crisps was amazingly flavorful, the savory meat soaked in the sweet and sour chutney was simply outstanding. The tuna tartar and duck meatballs were also excellent, especially the choice of sesame oil when it came to raw tuna. The pork fillet was the best pork dish I had in Europe, the odor of the pork was totally removed, and the flavors of the bacon were well absorbed into the pork fillet. The red wine reduce added on the acidity to reduce the greasiness of the dish, well the caramelized onions added on the sweetness to enhance the layers of flavors of the whole combination. The homemade squid ink ravioli was full of the umami of the sea, the choice of different seafoods was well presented. Their version of Tiramisu was a pleasant twist of the authentic recipe, the coffee gel drastically reduced the sweet greasiness of the mascarpone. The only dish that was not as good as the others was the pizza bites with codfish, the fish meat was a bit dry. However it was still way above average. The owners were really friendly and welcoming, we will come again when we are back to Gran Canaria.

We had a good experience at Que Bien. The service was fast and people were kind. As for the food, for appetizers I would recommend the one with beef and for the main, the pork fillet was incredibly tasty. The duck breast was pretty bland for my taste and also the pizza bites appetizer with the fish cream did not meet my expectations. The chocolate desert was also very good.

I must say, this is one of the best restaurants in Puerto Rico. Takes the top spot for me.The service was great. We were given a nice table by the window, could see down the rock face and got amazing sea views. As for food. We started off with the beef tartare and I’ve never tasted something so good. The taste, presentation and texture of this starter was all the best. A melt in your mouth starter with incredible attention to detail. The pork fillet was just as good. Cooked to perfection and presented very well with a smooth potato puree and decoration. Very juicy and flavoursome. We were not disappointed and can see why this restaurant has the status is does. Complements to the chef.

Finally a good restaurant cause let's be honest, there are a lot of tourist traps around here. Good food, good service and fair pricing. The view is a nice bonus.

We visited this restaurant last week, and unfortunately, our experience did not meet the expectations we had based on the reviews. The ambiance and the view over Puerto Rico Beach are very nice. As a starter, we had pizza bread with something resembling a codfish paste, which was good, tasty. The main dish was beef stewed in wine and chocolate. It was well-prepared, but slightly too bitter. The second main course was duck. It wasn’t as tender as expected, and the connective tissue between the muscle fibers was tough and difficult to chew. For dessert, we had a dark chocolate ball, but it lacked a touch of sweetness. The food plating was excellent. We were served by two people: a waitress who was very kind, pleasant, and made us feel welcome, and a waiter. We visited for the food and flavors, and our rating is based solely on the food.
Live it up, Las Palmas!

There is really very little to say, but a lot to try. It is the only restaurant in Puerto Rico where there is attention to detail, quality and a great notion of good eating. Excellent

Really good food and outstanding service. We were very hungry when we arrived and the owner brought us a small but extremely delicious olive pesto with pickled onions and bread all this on the house. At the end of the dinner she treated us with a couple shots of crema di limon on the house. Really recommend this place if you are visiting Puerto Rico in Gran Canaria.

4.5 stars. We were finally able to book a table and we were looking forward to our meal.We got a small aperitif which tasted nice.We ordered the tuna loin and the duck. Both tasted excellent and was nicely prepared. Then it was time for a little "pick me up". We both like tiramisu, but this was not what I would call a tiramisu. It was a lot of whipped cream and chocolatecoffee in a glass. Because we didnt want to ruin the dish by stirring the ingredients around with a spoon, we ended up eating up most of the chocolatecoffee before getting to the whipped cream. The dish became very bland and I wouldnt reccomend it if you are picky on your tiramisu. We also had to wait a loooooong time for the bill which was a little bit annoying. But all in all, a nice evening and we will definitivly try it another time.Edit: It says that the Tiramisu is not made in a traditional way on the physical menu, but I had looked at the menu available on web beforehand were it doesnt mentioned that. So that is why I thought it was made in the traditional way. And it was not regular whipped cream, but mascarpone cream used in the tiramisu. My apologies.

We wanted a nice dinner for our last night in Puerto Rico de Gran Canaria and we discovered Que Bien Restaurant. The quality of food is really good, plates are presented very nicely; moreover the service is excellent! The owner is a good wine connoisseur and gave us good recommendations. I highly recommend this restaurant for a lovely evening or a special celebration.

Without doubt our best meal in Gran Canaria. Everything from the service to the ambience to the food felt like a warm hug!The gracious host Sonia was able to help us with a reservation at the last moment due to another cancellation. Recommend to book a table in advance as it fills quickly. The ambience was calming with no frills decor and beautiful views of the beach. The food was fantastic and the hosts were super attentive.Everything we ordered was top notch.Must Visit! You won’t regret 🙂

What a great wee place, my only regret is we only found it on last day of our holiday ! Food is beautiful, view is fantastic. It is a bit more expensive but wine list is good value so overall bill was very reasonable. Stairs down to restaurant so may not be suitable for folks with mobility issues.

The 6 of us came quite early (7pm) and had a very enjoyable time. The food was delicious, from starters to desserts. Two of us took the tuna, perfectly cooked. Two had salmon, with an excellent sauce. I had duck in a wine reduction that was out of this world. The bread selection with varied with Italian gressinis as you would expect, cutely presented in an improvised bread 'sack'. We finished with the chocolate 'bomba' and an excellent service of espressos and capuccino, followed by complementary shots of limoncello. The wines we had were very good and reasonnably priced. We will come again!

Called the restaurant around 17:00 if there was still a spot for the same evening to celebrate my birthday; after a short word with the cook this was possible and they even hang some decoration! The food was amazing; the atmosphere was amazing and again the food was AMAZING. This birthday is definitely made amazing by this diner.

At the end of a small, intimate street, lies a small brown building which at first confuses because of the signage that reads 'Crazy Horse'. It is quickly obvious that there is much more than meets the eye. Once you notice the Que Bien sign, you are being led down a narrow, dark staircase which then leads to a door which, when opened, reveals what almost seems like a whole new world. The small room that one finds themselves in, contains about 12 tables and adequate sitting, providing for a sense of intimate and private dining, accompanied by an absolutely stunning view of the playa and Puerto Rico. The two lovely, smiling waitresses are service minded, polite and offer excellent service. The menu is a bit confusing at first and could maybe use a bit of an upgrade, but it ultimately works and one is easily able to place an order. We had an - supposedly - (complimentary) welcome surprise 'with greetings from the kitchen' consisting of a red bean creme topped with salted ricotta cheese and croutons and a little decorative piece of greenery. It was superb and only increased the excitement of what was to come. I ordered the tuna, my partner the bacon wrapped pork filet. Oh my, was it good. The texture, the selected tastes who all compliment each other. Wow !Flushing the mouth in-between bites to rediscover the flavors and the delicacy of these dishes made for an unique experience. My partner and I each had a 'glass of wine's, which, although unspecified, was good andwent well with the food. For dessert, I har the dark chocolate ball and my partner had the tiramisu. All in all, a very lovely place, exceptional food and amazing view. As mentioned, the menu card does need an update (I can help) but other than that, there is nothing that won't make me come back again. I believe only one two-person table was empty, which to me almost seems crazy, because this wonderful place is almost hid away from the world. On our way out, a couple came in, carrying a child stroller, containing a small child. Although children and kids are welcome, I don't think the atmosphere or the place really suits family dining.

One of the best dinners I’ve had in my life. Everything was so delicious. I couldn’t believe how good the food was in every bite I had. Super satisfied. It’s 1000% worth visiting and the prices are really nothing compared to what you get.

The best deal we have gotten on Gran Canaria. Wonderful food for prices no higher than down at the beach for much less accomplished dishes. They even serve you a little amuse bouche for free which is a nice touch normally reserved for more high-end places.Especially the tuna in an apple-ginger-sauce was so outstanding we came back the very next day to eat it again. The homemade pasta was very good as well. The only letdown was a mixed-fish-special we had the second day that was just very plain, uninspired, floured and seared fish on an equally bland fennel salad (was good fish though). The chefs are not much for Improvisation it seems. Stick to the compositions on the menu, they are awesome. The simple restaurant has a nice view across Puerto Rico and onto the beach below. And the staff is friendly and speaks very good english. It's a couple of minutes uphill but well worth the walk. If you arrive early I recommend having a beer at the crazy horse saloon next door, run by an adorable english fellow.

Excellent. The food was all delicious. We shared the prawns (perfection) and beef cheeks to start, followed by fish ravioli and tuna loin. Both were really well done and nicely presented. We finished with the red fruit filled chocolate ball which was also very good. The staff were warm, friendly and attentive. The view wasn't bad either! 5 stars all round.

The best meal we had in Puerto Rico, and one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten EVER, full stop! So much so that once we discovered it, we came back the next night (our final night, we would’ve dined a third time if we could have). The menu was sublime and so well thought out. You can tell that this is a restaurant whose menu is designed by food lovers. If you are someone who loves good food and you don’t dine here during your Puerto Rico stay, you have unfortunately missed out!! Also extremely reasonably priced for the standard of food. This restaurant alone would draw me back to the area. Highly advise booking in advance via WhatsApp to ensure you get a table.

Must go when in Puerto Rico!We had an extremely pleasant evening at Que Bien. Our waiter was very kind and service minded. We were guided in choosing wines, food and dessert apperitif. Well guided. The food was well tasting and definitely a treat for the eye. We had both gazpacho, duck, croaker and Iberian pork. All quite delicious. We loved Que Bien - it's small and intimate, with a great view of Puerto Rico and the sunset. Run by just two people - you could really feel the heart and soul put into the place. Every dish served was refined and thoughtful, and every bite was a treat to the tastebuds. We also had the best wine of our trip here (a recommendation from the owner). Would highly recommend grabbing a cab up here for a nice evening of good food.

Amazing food, wonderful service and a nice view of the beach from above. We really enjoyed eating here, it was a real culinary experience with thoughtful touches on all the dishes. I had the special: homemade ravioli with burrata, cream of leeks and topped with cooked ham. My partner had the sea bass and it was really delicious. The presentation was on point as well, highly recommend!

We had such a great moment. This Italian restaurant is owned by Italian people who honor Italian food. The food is sophisticated for a really good price. The view over the city and the sea is beautiful. The service was nice, the waitress gave us some advice for the wine and she did it well.We share "croquetas de bacalao" with his guacamole for the starter. For the main course we took "pulpo a la parrilla" and "fettuccini caseras con caballa" and we were surprise by the taste and the aesthetic of our meal.Of course we highly recommended this restaurant.

A gastronomic experience that is totally worth it. Very elaborate, delicious dishes that will make you want to try them all.The place is located on one of the hills of Puerto Rico and has beautiful views. Very cozy and perfect place for special occasions. Also noteworthy is the Growler beer and the native white wine of Gran Canaria. Without a doubt, a perfect accompaniment to the spectacular dishes.

A new restaurant on the island that will surprise you both for its gastronomic offer and for its views. Perfect for an unforgettable evening.✅ VERY RECOMMENDEDLOCAL: Quite spacious and bright. It offers windows with incredible views of the sea. The decoration is very beautiful, with Mediterranean touches. Meets all anti-covid standards. It is a bit hidden but with the help of google maps it is very easy.MENU: It is not very long but it offers a variety of dishes with Italian and modern touches, there are both pasta and fish and meat. It also has several desserts.PRICES: € 15-20 / pSERVICE: Great! The owners of this restaurant are some Italian friends who have created this project with great love and enthusiasm, they have taken care of all the details.TASTING MENU (the portions of the dishes have been adapted to this menu):FRIED AUBERGINE WITH CHEESE, POTATO AND PESTO: Delicious appetizer! All the ingredients combine very well, in the same bite there are different textures and flavors.SQUID NOODLES ON LETTUCE PUREE AND CHEF'S SECRET SAUCE: Great !! I had never tasted anything like it, the squid was tender and its flavor was spectacular, but the best was the lettuce cream.SAFFRON POTATO CREAM WITH OCTOPUS, SEPIA BLACK CORAL AND PARSLEY OIL: ORDER IT !! Very good!! The octopus melted in the mouth and the cream accompanied it perfectly.CRUNCHY MORNING WITH GOAT MOUSSE, CORIANDER AND CONFIT TOMATO: Spectacular! The mackerel was crispy but juicy. The mousse was powerful, if you are a cheese fan you will surely like it. The tomatoes were amazing, they exploded in the mouth.BASKET OF BREADS AND PICKSPANNA COTTA OF COFFEE, LAND OF CINNAMON AND COFFEE SAUCE: ASK FOR IT !! The smoothness of the pana cotta combined perfectly with the crunchiness and powerful flavor of coffee.STRAWBERRY SEMIFRIO WITH MINI SIGHS, LEMON CURD AND ALMOND CRUMBLE: very good, I loved the crunchy pieces.
Que Bien Restaurant – Puerto Rico

We were treated to a fantastic dinner at the Restaurante Que Bien in Puerto Rico. The dishes were impressive! Starting with a beautiful as well a tasteful appetizer with shrimps, then we tried the home made bread and grissinis, with the most delicious roastbeef on rocket and fish croquettes.
The pasta dishes were simply amazing – best Gnocchi I ever had, and perfectly combined Ravioli with light and dark pasta. Followed by a exquisitely cooked octopus and fish fillets in a wonderful parsley sauce. And the desserts were simply amazing – not too sweet, but a perfect combination of ice-cream and different sauces.
Ottavio is the chef and Sonia takes care of the service – extremely friendly and generous couple, fulfilling their dream of a life in Gran Canaria. We can only recommend you go and try. We loved it.
The restaurant is in the premises where the old Mexican Restaurant Pancho Villa was located until about 2015, with a fantastic view over Puerto Rico.
Fine cuisine – The food is getting prepared and served in such a way that you know that the Chef is prepering each plate with attention and pride.
The standard is very high and the prices are very reasonable.
We will, for sure, be back.
