We had an amazing day at Gloria Palace. On arrival in the buffet area we were welcomed by a delightful staff member called Patricia, who welcomed us with her kindness and smile. She was very attentive and led us to a fantastic spot to enjoy lunch, with breathtaking views of the sea. The food was superb, and the service was excellent, making the whole experience unforgettable.

Overall a lovely hotel. Food is average. Kids pool is great and wasn't overly busy during our stay. Rooms were kept nice and clean and the service at the bars / restaurant was great. The hotel is in a great location with easy access to two beautiful beaches. What I would say is the check in process is awful. Firstly, despite confirming with the hotel twice, our transfer at the airport didn't arrive. We stood at the airport for an hour with two young children and when the hotel finally answered the phone, he initially said it was our fault as our plane was delayed (it wasn't delayed) and then admitted it hadn't been booked by them. When we finally arrived at the hotel, we were told to come back at 2pm as the room wasn't ready, which was fine. Came back at 2pm and had to wait another 45 minutes for the key.I had to go back to reception on another occasion as the housekeeping (not Miguel) who brought the beds in had left our door wide open, leaving all of our belongings on show (including passports, tablets etc) however the staff weren't bothered or apologetic in any way. It was at this time that where were around 5 new (angry) parties trying to check in and one member of staff snapped at the other "I'm playing Tetris in my mind right now with these rooms!! I can't think!!" Which I thought was so unprofessional. Finally, when I had to provide details for our return transfer, the reception staff made me walk all the way back to our room (4 floors and a long corridor away) to obtain our receipt to show we had paid and then asked me to pay again. This conversation went on for 30 minutes before he admitted he was wrong and now understood. This was a big kick in the teeth seen as they'd messed up the initial transfer and caused us to arrive at the hotel flustered. Any enquiry with reception turns into an absolute mission. That being said, Pablo (kids entertainer) was amazing. The hotel itself is beautiful. We did have a great time it's just a shame about the customer service we received from reception.

My husband and I just had an amazing week away. The hotel exceeds expectations and looks even more beautiful inside and outside than on the pictures. The views from the room and poolside are magnificent! Gliria Amadores has everything you need for a peaceful relaxing holiday. The Spa is amazing too! Just avoid weekends when it becomes very busy. Nice choice of food in the restaurant. And the staff is very friendly and helpful!

Stayed here in 2017, 18, 23, and 24... it keeps its beauty, splendid views, hospitality, and the whole premises.Day and night all around the hotel is so safe and tranquil. Lovely people staying here and very respectfully in their own fun and relating.Nothing is too much to ask of staff, well within reason folks. I can 💯 % recommend staying here. It is always best to book directly with the hotel for better prices. Go and enjoy 😉!!!

Our first time staying here, we are just leaving today, the hotel is lovely and calm, plenty of sunbeds, no need for early sun bed wars, the family pool has activities, the room was very clean, and you had fresh water every day, also at the bar you can help yourself to cold water. We ate at the snack bar once, not bad prices food was nice. we stayed bed and breakfast, loads of choices and plenty of table. Staff where lovely very friendly and polite, nothing was too much h trouble, we was given free pool towels at reception on check in. Added bonus. Would stay here again we had a lovely stay.

Our first time in this hotel. Everything was fantastic. Our room was cleaned every day, absolutely fantastic food, a lot of choice, friendly, polite people, very professional service. I can't understand how some people complain about food, rooms etc. I think it is just because they are trying to get something cheaper or for free. I was worried before I came after I was reading all bad reviews, but once again, this was not true. Some people complained about the cold water in the swimming pool. The water is just right and quite warm. Everyone is so nice there. It's the best place to go so far. We would like to return as soon as we can. It was an absolutely amazing time at Gloria Palace Amadores.

Allocated room ... unchanged bedding from previous guests, cockroachs everyday, dead insect left in clear view for 4 days, poorly swept or mopped floors, points of contact sticky, coffee table broken. Aside from a very dated spa and the disgusting room everything else was fine. Waiters in dining room were excellentIt is now Jan 22nd, at the request of the deputy manager I forwarded my contact details to the hotel, twice, to enable them to resolve the situation "promptly". Two weeks on still no reply

I have re-revised this review based on the resolution the hotel has put in place to rectify the issue with first aid kids. All staff have in theory received corrective action to avoid any further complications. My takeaway from this is that the hotel can respond to the needs of a first aid kit should a guest need one in future.Highlights of the hotel:- Scenic views, it has to be one of the best hotels for views especially the top floor infinity pool- Food, this is by far the best hotel I have ever stopped at for all inclusive food. Great selection and felt quite luxury with some of the offerings.- Drinks, the all inclusive was versatile you could find something that you liked for most. I would say there is some confusion with the likes of some spirits not being on the menu in particular pernod. This caused a little confusion with waiters on whether it was in/out of the all inclusive package so maybe a more simplified way of understanding the drinks whether it's premium/non premium or not at all on all inclusive would help customers- Cleanliness, our room was spotless. Patricia really made sure our stay was lovely and was very thorough - thank you Patricia. Waiter/waitresses also work extremely hard cleaning and setting the tables and they really are an asset to your busy hotel.- Friendliness/approachability, lots of friendly staff some of which should be on the stage themselves! Some negatives albeit only minor:- Lifts, can be a little frustrating especially when on floor 6. The option of stairs was out of the question so we were dependable on the lifts. They did become crowded quite a lot and made the wait even longer for the next one. Also, the lifts sometimes missed your floor. Maybe there could be an improvement with the lifts but understand this may be difficult to do so due to the cost.- Iron hire, they sub out to a company the needs and it is dependable on when the company are about or not. I also found this expensive in consideration that the iron was a very inexpensive iron that had brown droplets coming out.- Checking in/out times. This could be quite slow so suggestive of more staff on reception.- Charges, we were charged a couple of times around £30 each time for items that was unexplainable. We were warned about this when checking in that sometimes happen. They got rid of it but be better customer experience if this did not happen.Overall I would strongly recommend a stay here, you won't be disappointed and I think wherever you choose to stop there are pros and cons of everywhere. The ones here are minor but a true example of how we found the hotel.

Never again! Rude staff everywhere. My room was missed to clean twice a week. Even if they did clean, it was left dirty, particularly in the wash room. Toilet was never cleaned and especially wash basin! When I asked to speak to manager, reception staff said we do not have any manager in the evening possibly next day as they are not informed about managers shifts in advance! 🤣 Breakfast was rubbish too, also all the coffee mugs and glasses were dirty everywhere and everyday! Look at the picture of the bottom of the wardrobe nail hanging out!

We went for spa, but it was very disappointing. Unsanitary shower stalls, pool was not clean. It was sand and debris in the bottom of the pool. The saunas smelled like mold, and one had a roof that was caving in. Don’t go there if plan is to visit only the spa.We ate in the restaurant with buffet. The food was good and we got god service from staff. I give it a 3 out of five, but spa is 1.

Great place to stay with a family, easy access to two nearest beaches.Staff at the reception was very helpful, the entertainment in the evening was very good every night. It was a very good value for money, big selection of food for breakfast and dinner.Rooms were cleaned everyday. There were two outdoor pools, the water was perfect for a swim in December!!Highly recommended place!!We are going back next year!!

Reception and public areas starting to look a bit tired and dated compared to newer 4 star hotels we have stayed in recently. Areas are poorly lit. Glass and all surfaces need cleaning and kept on top of. Hole in ceiling to fix a water leak needs repairing. Lift down to promenade was out of action for the whole week we visited which means a walk up 10+ flights of stairs, a walk up a very steep road around to the rear or a taxi @ 5.30 Euros each way to the centre of the resort.Room is spacious but feels a bit sparsely decorated. Bed linen not changed in a week. Tv remote never worked. Batteries had leaked inside. Great sea view from the large balcony Bathroom is also large and feels like it has been updated recently. Shower is unusually large. Temperature stability was a issue. It requires constant alteration to maintain the correct temperature. Shower gel dispenser broken.Restaurant and food was good on whole. Lumpy milk for cereal. Some food was served cold but on the whole was acceptable with a good choice.Pool area is great. Gym is of a good standard and all equipment works.

Amazing hotel, views are spectacular. Pool areas are really good. Food was really nice and freshly cooked. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. Entertainment was on until 11.30pm everynight and the table service for drinks here was super efficient. Would definitely recommend and would go back. 2 slight annoyances for us were the room cleaning wasn't in keeping with the rest of the stay and should be better. Also the toilet did not have door and was a little too open for us. All in all though, loved our stay!

Such a good and wonderful Hotel. With good service, nice rooms and a lovely atmosphere, this is one of the best hotels we have stayed at. we can highly recommend staying here during your stay in Gran Canaria. What we would like the hotel to develop is to have a more calm and harmonious breakfast, lunch and dinner time. There was a very high noise level and a lot of running when many people were there at the same time.

The hotel staff is very polite and very informal. Hotel housekeeping staff is after 4 PM only one person, this must be higher to be oké. Sometimes the housekeeping comes to the room when baby sleeps, then the red card is there and they cannot enter, therefore we need to be able to inform them when they can clean. Last thing is that the two main elevators in block 4 where everything happens have an algorithm that is so very bad that every first year student of computer science can do that better. For example, if one lift is waiting at your location, it sometimes lets the other lift come.

I've just come back from 7 days Holiday,Hotel is nice with an amazing view, food also is very nice but they have some big issues :They have cockroaches, is unacceptable for a hotel to have this..They don't change any bed sheets, but they clean the roomPlease don't add any services on your room card and try to pay debt card, they add almost £150 extra for drinks and services, I think staff is not trained enough to use sistem or they do mistakes intentionally 🤔, luckily reception checked for me and realised the mistake.Imagine how many people don't check the bill and just pay🙄At the restaurant is a big issue, they are forcing you to buy water at the dinner €2.5 a bottle. basically you have water and food free all day but in the night they are charging for water 😂. Staff told me to put away my child water, and buy one at the dinner. For all inclusive hotel activities are very poor.Per total Hotel is nice but they have to sort out the issues

We are here on holiday currently and are overall impressed with the hotel. The rooms are massive and very comfortable, we have a fully furnished balcony with direct sea view. In the room we have an enormous double bed that is very comfortable, wardrobe, sofa, chairs and coffee table, writing desk and chair, TV kettle fridge and of course air con. The hotel feels a bit dated in its decor and there are signs that some minor repairs are needed, missing lampshades in the pool toilets, locks broken on toilet doors etc (nothing major). The pool areas are nice, with plenty of space for sunbeds and we never had a problem to get a sunbed. There are 2 main pools, both are infinity, but both are very cold, but refreshing. There is a small kids area with a slide and water cannons etc. if you prefer a bit of tranquility the best pool area is on the top floor, no music, nice pool, plenty of sunbeds, pool bar and snack bar, outside chess board, table tennis.Food is all buffet style and although everyone always seems to enjoy finding fault with food abroad, I personally think they do a decent job. There is always variety, it's decent and plentiful. You are not in England, don't expect danish back bacon and Waitrose sausage, if that's your thing maybe try Blackpool! All joking aside, being realistic the food is good as a buffet catering for the mass and various nationalities.Entertainment is pretty good, believe me we've experienced much worse. Each evening there are 2-3 acts and the usual kids mini disco early on. There are activities during the day if it's your desire to get involved. The evening main bars are all waiter service and we have been impressed with the speed.Hotel location is good, about 15 minutes walk to Puerto Rico and about 20 minutes to playa amadores. One big negative for us was the lifts in our block (block 4) you seriously can wait forever and there are only 2 lifts. We often ended up walking the many flights of stairs. The hotel is built within a cliff so even on the "ground floor" known as floor 7 you are high and a further glass lift can take you down to the promenade.Would we stay here again? Probably yes we would

Everything you need and more, the staff are amazing, and can't do enough to make sure you have an amazing stay. Very family and child-friendly with evening entertainment for kids followed by various acts afterwards daily. If you want something more lively the town is just a two-minute drive away in a taxi from the hotel entrance. Some great high-end shops in the town along with loads of great places to eat out with bars and restaurants and sports bars etc. Amazing location and place to stay.

Having stayed a few times previously as a couple we returned with our daughters age 14 and 8. Yet again we weren’t disappointed. Thanks to all the staff but especially Pablo Margo and her team, having been to Eurodisney earlier in the year our 8 year old Lily-Mae preferred Gloria Palace and cried leaving. Thanks for making her holiday so special.Thank You to Ramon at the pool bar always served with a smile and looked after us all week.Food and drinks on all inclusive were as good as always.A minor thing to be considered is we found the service in the show bar in the evening not to be as efficent as previous visits but acceptable. We’ve booked again for next year and can’t wait to return.

This is a fantastic hotel, friendly staff good food lovely place to stay and located in a good area. But ! I've only given the room 3 stars due to someone's bright idea not to have a door on the toilet in the roomso when the person your with is sat on the toilet you can see and hear themnot bothered how long a couple as be together they don't want to see and hear there partner on the toilet, we had to keep going on to the balcony when the other one was on the toilet, not ideal !!and also when you got up in the middle of the night to go to the toilet you put the bathroom light on and it lit the whole room up disturbing the other person that was still in bed.It did spoil the holiday a bit.

If you want a hotel with a sea view you get that here. Our room was a good size with a very private balcony and sunbeds.. although there were a few cosmetic issues and plug sockets difficult to get to. The floors were back to front. Floor 7 was on the bottom and 1 obviously up top with 3 more floors above that and the lifts weren't always working in our block. Don't rate the waiter table service for drinks in the entertainment hall of an evening because you could be waiting ages. Entertainment was good every night.. Restaurant food was ok nothing special. All inclusive drinks local brands and not the best. We had all inclusive plus didn't mean a thing to this hotel. Enjoyed our stay anyway

Definitely don't recommend this hotelWe arrived for a 5 day break for our anniversary. When we got to the hotel we were given a room below the pool area dispite booking a Seaview room. When we notified the staff at reception they agreed to changed our room the following day. So we had to pack up and "check out" but weren't able to check back into our new room until 2pm. The first room wasn't great at all. There was someones body hair in the bath. The toilet door was dirty with hand marks and what looked like cream. There was a razor what was used but also left in the bathroom. For Gloria Palace I expected better. The second room was better. Initially when we went to the room there was 2 single beds and a cot bed. As mentioned above we were on our anniversary and left our children at home. When we notified staff they did get a mattress topper for the bed and removed the cot bed eventually...3 days into our stay, cash was stolen from our room. Furious, we notified the staff. Staff weren't of any help at all. I know we didn't use the safe but I still expect my room to be safe regardless of using the safe. I am extremely disappointed in the staff of the Gloria Palace.Lastly, on the morning of checkout I assume housekeeping stay out of the room until you've checked out at 12... Not here, at 9.30 while still in bed the housekeeper entered our room. When she heard me say wait a minute she left. I followed her and her response was are you checking out today. I found this extremely odd behavior considering 2 days previous the money was taken from our room. When I notified the reception about the odd behavior they didn't seem concerned or bothered at all.Very poor customer serviceFor the money you'll spend go elsewhere
There is not a lot you can say about this place other than fab. The food plentiful and fresh lo atoon is a dream. The staff are really the key to this hotel and it's lovely stay. Margo along with the team looking after guests throughout the day are tremendous and I can't say good enough things about them other than this hotel is lucky to have then!Muneer was also a member of the team who is excellent at customer service

We had a pleasant stay. The food was wonderful, all staff super nice, rooms cleaned every day, great swimming pool. However what dissapointed us was the location of the room - near the reception, meaning you could hear all the shows happening below sometimes even until 2am. If I didn't have my own ear plugs, I don't know what I would do and still, I could hear the noise even through them! So please, be aware you might get room just like us near the "show room". I mean, if you like to have fun, you will enjoy it, but we traveled a lot around the island so we really wanted to sleep, not party all night. Also, the rooms don't have bathroom doors and even the door to the toilet didn't close in our room.

We have recently stayed with yourselves for 12 nights 15th aug to 27th aug. And we had a very very poor stay to the quality/suitability of the accommodation. We are a family with 3 adults and one child. When we arrived at the hotel having booked a double room with sea view the room we were allocated was not a sea view and had to be relocated. The new room had only 2 single beds and a pull out sofa bed. I can only say we had 12 nights of the worst sleep ever and spoilt our holiday for all of us. Everyday we had to request sheets/towels/water from housekeeping as they would only leave 2 sheets or sometimes no sheets believing that there was only 2 people staying there due to room size. Most of the staff at reception were very disappointing, and did not want to deal with our issues. We had to resort to bringing in the lounger from the balcony to try get some sort of sleep. We paid a lot of money but left extremely disappointed by our stay.It was totally ruined by the hotel and the fact our issues/concerns were dismissed. Also the condition of some of the furniture and walls in our room was dirty/unclean/stained, and also cocktail sticks still on the floor when we got there (which was there for the full stay). It was like room had not been cleaned for us. Based on our experience I would not recommend the hotel and to say we are devastated at the stay having looked forward to our dream holiday for the past year. The response we have received like our stay was disappointing, dismissive and disrespectful. We got offered an upgrade if we were to return, so spend another 3ooo on accommodation plus flights expenses to be upgraded from half to full board with a bit more comfort. Its been a joke from the hotel.

I had a wonderful stay here with my family here in June 2023. Especially for my mom who was the special guest for us seemed to be very satisfied with the food. Their spa is a must(remember the 'Thalasso') - it costs a bit but truly worthy. Totally recommend.

Great place for a holiday. Beautiful location, spacious in all areas (room, bar, pool...), good food choice, top views from lounges, bars, restaurants and pools. Hotel cries for renovation. For luxurious touch it is necessary to refresh the walls, floors, furniture, silicones in bathrooms etc. At first we were a bit disappointed but soon we forgot all the flaws and just enjoyed our stay. Personal is really friendly and allways ready to help.

We recently stayed at Gloria Palace Amadores Thalasso & Hotel for 5 nights, and it was a fantastic experience for our family. My husband, daughter, and I enjoyed every moment of our stay. From the moment we arrived on the 21st, we were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of champagne waiting in our room to celebrate my birthday on the 24th of June.On the 24th of June the hotel staff left a lovely invitation in our room to visit the snack bar for cake and a drink. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made my day even more special. The pools and play areas for kids are amazing and provided endless fun for my family. We spent a lot of time enjoying the water, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The staff at the hotel were kind, very receptive, and always willing to help. Our room was cleaned daily, ensuring we always returned to a tidy and comfortable space. However, I would like to suggest that the cleaning staff also mop the floor as there was a noticeable amount of dust when we first arrived.Overall, our stay at Gloria Palace Amadores Thalasso & Hotel was wonderful. We highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service, fantastic amenities, and thoughtful touches.

had a stay (Room 2505 block -2) with check in date - 14/06 and check out date 19/06.I liked the stay overall and it was a good experience in almost every aspect.Although there is something that I would like to raise about restaurant. We opted for half board so had breakfast and dinner at the resort. We are vegetarian but many times the chefs were careless and we foundA piece of ham in vegetable omlette and also in vegetable pizza. This wasn’t good since it’s against our religion to eat ham. This was raised with restaurant floor manager but no action was taken. He noted our room number bur didn’t do anything. In fact most of the dishes that we were using were not properly washed. Overall, restaurant doesn’t take much care to ensure food for vegetarians is clean and separate from meat. The staff doesn’t understand English at all and it’s so hard to make them understand our concern.

It's the best resort hotel that I've ever visited and the only one where I would love to come back!- RoomWe stayed in a spacious room that featured very comfortable beds with a special thanks to the two separate beds being connected by one large mattress, so they did not move apart. The room also had a well-equipped bathroom, a safe, a mini fridge, and a huge balcony with two sunbeds. There were plenty of sockets available, the air conditioning worked efficiently, and the excellent plumbing in the bathroom made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a pleasure to relax in the room.- CleaningThe hotel was exceptionally clean overall, and the room cleaning was consistently good. We always had fresh towels, a few bottles of water, clean dishes, and tea replenished during each cleaning. Impressively, we didn't see a single cockroach in the hotel area during our week-long stay, which is a great achievement.- FoodThe breakfasts at the hotel are better than usual for hotels. I particularly enjoyed the custom-made omelets and the option to have fried eggs cooked on both sides. There is a good variety of meat- and dairy-based products, fruits, and sweets. However, the coffee was a huge disappointment. On the other hand, dinners were absolutely great! There was always a good selection of meat, poultry, and fish, along with plenty of salads, tasty canned food, and very nice snacks. I have to give a special mention to the very delicious pizza! We opted for the half-board plan, but we once switched dinner to lunch (thanks for offering this flexibility), and while it was fine, it’s not worth including as part of the stay. We also purchased snacks separately at the snack bar next to the pool, which were absolutely great!- PoolsThe hotel features two really big swimming pools and one for kids. There were always plenty of sunbeds available at any time — a HUGE respect for that! The pools offer a very nice sea view, and the area around them is clean. One pool is often busy with activities, while the other is a quiet, relaxing spot.- StaffWe really liked the friendly staff at the restaurant and snack bar; they truly went above and beyond for the guests. The cooks were also very helpful, working quickly and maintaining high quality. It was fascinating to see how well-organized their processes were in the kitchen — there were almost no queues! The animation teams were generally good. There was an incredibly energetic guy who compensated for the two calmer girls working with him. Additionally, the team of Dutch girls was fantastic, especially with kids! The reception was a disappointment. There were frequent queues, and it took an incredibly long time to check in guests. I’ve never experienced such a lengthy and tedious check-in process.- Hotel areaThe gym is well-equipped and spacious, although the ventilation could be better. It’s very easy to reach the beach thanks to a separate hotel exit with a special elevator just for guests. When you leave the hotel area, there is another great bar offering smoothies, drinks, and ice cream — a nice option for a treat while walking to the beach. We also liked the entertainment room with air hockey, bowling, billiards and other entertainment equipment. All this costs from 1 to 2 euros, and there is also a machine for exchanging large bills into coins.

To relax is good . It depends on what everyone is looking for .The hotel and the rooms are good, very clean, everything is okAt the reception, everything possible is done to solve your problemThe Spa It was wonderful, really worth itIf you are to play different activities, they have different activities and I really liked thatIf you are planning to stay there for more than a week, it is very important to take the food into account... that is, if you don't go elsewhere, you will have almost the same food every day.And this is the last thing. Very nice staff at the reception and at the spa and cleaning. Not all the waiters serve you nicely, there are about 3 maximum who always smiled and served us with love and with everything we needed .

We have just returned from our stay in Gloria place and few days ago and we cannot recommend more we had the most amazing stay! From when we arrived we were greeted with a glass of champagne, which was lovely. The rooms and the whole hotel is very clean the staff are all so friendly not just at reception but in the restaurants and bars and all over the hotel which makes your stay even better. The entertainment was great in the evenings and they tend to have a few acts (singers, dancers) etc so when one had finished that isn’t it for the night. The food was amazing breakfast lunch and dinner there was different things and we didn’t have the same food twice and there’s a lot to choose from. Perfect location about a 15 min walk to amadores beach and 10 the other way to commercial centre.

AMAZING HOTEL. Infinity pool is out of this world, views amazing, staff brilliant, food far better than any other hotel buffet we have experienced before (other than one or two high end places) - looking forward to our next stay here!

The good +Very nice hotel in a very good location.great food.wonderful cleaning staffThe bad -the reception needs to up their level to match the rest of the hotel.- I asked 2 times via email if there was a possibility that our room could have a mattress topper so me and my partner don't fall through the crack between the beds.reply: "We have taken note already of your request and we will do our best to fulfil it, however it cannot be guaranteed until your arrival day." it was not done so we had to request it a 3rd time after checking in.- As for the bar by the "grown-up swimming pool" the staff was wonderful, but the machine they use to make drinks needs to get fired and replaced with an actual bartender if the intention is to serve good drinks. (did not try any of the other bars)- I asked the reception about 30 hours before leaving for the airport about transportation to the airport.I was told to just come down when checking out and they would order one. What I was trying to order was a shuttle bus as this is a cheaper option by about 20+ euros than a regular taxi.I was told at checkout that it was too short of a time to order a shuttlebus, and that "misunderstanding" cost me 20+ euros. All in all, none of the things mention will deter me from coming and enjoying myself at your hotel a 3rd or a 10th time.will definitely recommend to friends

A*+++! Love this hotel!Everything you could think of from a luxury hotel is exactly what you'll get here. All staff are amazing with guests AND children. My anxious 9 year old was so much at ease that he named staff members and told them he couldn't wait to come back!Service, staff, entertainment, food-everything was amazing and can not wait to come back myself!

This hotel needs updating. Our bedroom was basic, teak wood that looked old, there was what we thought a fridge with a teak wood door that was hanging off, this didn't seem to work so we mentioned at reception to be told it was not a fridge but it was a container to maintain temperature of anything put in it that was cold, NO it was hotter in there than our room. When you've booked all inclusive you would expect a stocked fridge in your room. The shower door plastic rim at the bottom was filthy, disgusting. The reception area, which is were there is a bar to enjoy a drink, was horrible, old fashioned, terrible lighting, no atmosphere, certainly nowhere to sit and relax with a drink. The entertainment at night was awful, there were a couple that sang very well but other than them it was what you would see on TV in Benidorm in the 1980's, it was embarrassing at times. Most of the staff were really pleasant and helpful, some of the receptionist were not the best, plus there were always queues there. We were all inclusive, but they charged for some food at the pool bar which I think is unreasonable, don't understand that when we could have gone in the restaurant at lunch and eaten, what's the difference!! The food was ok, staff were really nice in the restaurant. This hotel is ok, but been to other hotels for this price and this definitely needs to improve to 2024 standards

Generally, the staff are very friendly, especially the waiters and waiters and waitresses at the breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The view is amazing, and the pools are a lovely temperature. There is also a very fun pool for the kids to play in plus a ball court. The breakfast buffet was good, proper bacon and sausages on the grill and plenty of choice. The buffet lunch and dinner OK but some food lacked flavour. The hotel is clean and tidy and a 10 minute walk to the beaches. The reason for 3 stars is are;• There was no door to the bathroom in our room and then only a CLEAR glass door into the toilet, and the toilet can be seen from the bed. Therefore, when my wife or I were in bed, you could SEE the person on the TOILET, so we had to use the public toilets. Very stupid design.• My second issue is what they call "all inclusive."" When we left, they charged us €1 each day to change pool towels. This is not all inclusive, and I would expect at least 1 free towel for the pool per day. I'm happy to pay if i use more than 1 a day.• The "all inclusive" cocktails are from a machine, and they are all very, very sugary and with low alcohol and not nice at all.• Had a weird situation where I asked for an iced coffee and was told it was not included and I had to pay. So it's OK if you want to drink cava, wine, beer, and cocktails all day, but you can not have an iced coffee. So i asked for a coffee and a cup with ice, and they said OK. Very strange.• Some of the lunch snacks were also not included. For example, we had to pay €6 for some pasta bolegnaise at lunch even though they had troughs of it at the buffet.• Also, you have to pay for all the ice cream except for these horrible cheap pots of "ice cream," which tasted super cheap. It basically leaves you with a feeling that even though you have paid for "all inclusive", you still have to pay for quite a few basic things, which leaves me feeling like it is not good value.

Just returned from 8 nights at the Gloria Palace. I'll deal with the negatives first. The rooms have dated decor and furniture and the hallways leading to the rooms greatly need a refresh and a lick of paint. Now the positives. The staff are amazing with special mentions to Felix and Cornelio who are waiters and were both superb and excellent at their jobs. Also special mention to Bryan on reception who sorted out an issue for us and was very professional. The food and dining areas are great but sort out the pigeons!! Would definitely stay there again.

We spent a week all inclusive in March this year. Overall the hotel was lovely, with spacious rooms and good facilities. The food was high quality and there was lots of choice. With a roast or grill most nights. We only had one problem in that when we were out all day, we came back an odour of drains in our room. We opened the patio doors and aired the room, which seemed to work quite well. And house keeping kept the room very clean. All rooms have a sea view due to the design of the hotel.Would definitely stay there again.

Adrian in the restaurant is rude, ignores you and smacks glasses down.Hire car got reversed into in the car park and at first they denied they had CCTV then said Spanish law prohibits them viewing the footage. Only wanted a reg number to put on the claim form! Thanks for that - I'll look forward to paying that excess to save you 5 minutes of time.Location is nice, and the hotel itself is nice, but would not recommend the reception staff who couldn't be any less helpful if they tried, ask for late checkout and immediate "no", ask any query whatsoever and if it can't be a no then they'll suddenly get worse at English until you give up. Useless. Really let's the hotel down.Edit: "We would also appreciate it you could try not to convince our employees to break the law because of a car damage." This is the kind of rude attitude that let's the hotel down. I asked a simple question for a couple of minutes and you try and blame me for convincing employees to break the law?

Lovely hotel at a great location with incredible views. Enjoyed our family stay here in a room with incredible uninterrupted sea views. They have two big pools and a kids splash play area. Plenty of sunbeds and beach towels are provided as well. They have a kids club and mini disco in evening. Though we thought it lacked a bit of energy this time, but still overall positive.Plenty of food choices in the main restaurant but it's hard to find allergens information as this is not directly displayed in the dishes name tags. Would have liked to have a few more veg/vegan options and clearly marked allergen information.Overall a positive experience, and hope to see some of the above mentioned improvements in future.

Had a wonderful time staying for a week at the end of Jan-24, our room was functional and comfy, good shower, amazing view from the balcony. The infinity pool is really something special. Good selection of food at breakfast and dinner. Location is great, the private entrance to the promenade was great for walking to the beach or into Puerto Rico. Would definitely recommend staying here if traveling to the area.

We love the Gloria Palace Amadores so much, that we keep coming back, and have visited the hotel about 8 times in total in all seasons, including spending a Christmas family holiday there. We travel as a couple, sometimes with friends or with family including children. Gloria Palace is our go to haven. We like the scenic location, the great service, the airy rooms, the spacious pool areas and the great selection of foods in the large buffet restaurant. We always stay all-inclusive, since it makes the stay extremely comfortable and effortless. We like making a day trip to Las Palmas, and it could not be easier, car rental is available in the reception, and pick up and return are in the hotel garage. This is our favourite hotel on Gran Canaria, and we look forward to our next stay here, as soon as we have left. We will be back for easter, and cannot wait.

On arrival front desk didn't have a notion of hospitality nor manners. Extremely rude. The cocktails on the all inclusive menu have little to none alcohol in them. Very poor quality. The menu itself is lacking alot of the price. The restaurant is very repetitive, complemts too the staff it's clearly a budgeting issue with management. Same again very over priced for food quality. Alot of items were not correctly labelled. For instance potatoe with ham on the labelle yet contained fish when ate. That could be very dangerous too someone with food allergies....Then on check out we were handed a bill with an extra 80 euros charge. For items that were ALL INCLUSIVE... had to get a manger up to resolve the issue as staff at front desk don't have the first notion of hospitality or customer service skills. The manager on the front desk was extremely rude very blunt. Not someone you want representing your front desk greeting people...Very disappointed with the hidden charges for Christmas an new years dinners for wine or champagne. Very sneaky...Entertainment was very bland some night very good but I noticed if the music is good it tended to end early 11 ish then boring music or singers would come out to get people off to bed it seemed. As we noticed a few nights this would happen music would go slow about 11 room would clear out fast. Clearly saving the hotel alot of money with most people on all inclusive. The daily entertainment outside with conor was very good 👍 ie bingo etc very good. The spiral straight case that goes from the top level down to level 4 in block 4. I'm 6 foot 5 so I see eye level walking down is filthy dirty thick with dust. Needs cleaning. The hotel itself is starting to show its age.The spa pool was so dirty the pool itself had sand on the floor for the hole time we were there didn't seemed to be cleaned daily like the outside pools which people see so is it all for show to make the hotel seem clean... unhygienic to be fair. The room shower had mould an yellow bacteria around the glass screen an base of the wall. (Memtiomed this to staff while there an told these not alot we can do.)All in all in my opinion the hotel has truly gone down hill in comparison too previous years. Most likely to source other options for next Christmas 24.So far the RUI have quoted us alot cheaper for Dec 24 than what we paid this year. Which says alot that a brand new hotel can quote cheaper than a hotel that has been in business for many years now. Gloria didn't offer any return discounts for next year. Which we received last year.

Nice hotel and the spa is great ! Staff is friendly, kudos to « Paul » (spa massage) the only annoying thing is the customers at the pool, no control so you get a lot of old brits drunk at 3pm, loud, listening to their phone music at max volume… not hotel fault but they could control this as it annoyed most of the customers,if you want a calm stay, it might be tricky in december…avoid the high season. Location is ok.

Hotel itself is absolutely beautiful but service and everything beyond that is poor.Booked a double room with a sea view only to get given a room without a sea view, asked to switch rooms and got a room higher up with a view. Went to get a few drinks and in the process of changing the room the all inclusive card was deactivated so had to go to reception again to get it reactivated with no apologies or sympathy. It was my partner’s birthday the day after we arrived so there were cards etc all over the room so a no room service card was put on the door however we returned to the room with the beds made and the room cleaned and we had all of our passports etc out due to having just arrived and leaving the no clean sign on.Lovely hotel, lovely location but service poor and mould in the bathrooms.

We came to this hotel in Gran Canaria Puerto Rico for my Birthday, and for some early winter sun. My wife’s & I primary focus was spending a lazy week enjoying lazing by the pool & enjoying the hotel, strictly no tourist style boat trips or days out.We were not disappointed. The service here is first class, genuinely warm & friendly people, from the cleaning staff, to receptionists, entertainers & waiting staff-all first class. The hotel itself is scrupulously clean with great facilities including a Spa, sauna & steam room & gym, an infinity pool a gorgeous restaurant with gorgeous food & multiple snacking areas. The views across the Amadores beach extending into the Amadores bay & North Atlantic are fantastic, particularly from your balcony..There are numerous small market type shopping areas & restaurants on the Playa de Amadores beach front that are also well worth a visit. The only small gripes I have of this lovely hotel concern the ambiguity when queuing & dressing for meals at the restaurant. Sometimes there is a lengthy wait to be seated-some people just walk on straight through to a table-which is frustrating, sometimes a stand seems to instruct people to wait- sometimes it’s pushed to one side ?. In a guide to meal times (issued by the hotel) it also stipulates that trousers should be worn, but again, many people were wearing shorts instead. The other gripe concerns the single lift from the entrance to the various floors & reception area, which during peak season would surely be chaotic ?(It must be said an area of the hotel-presumably the main entrance- was closed during our stay, so this undoubtedly impacted entry arrangements)We flew with Jet2, also superb from start to finish.A final blessing we had was the Weather- late November and in the high 20’s all week.Highly recommended. Please visit.

Nice localisation, most of rooms have great view towards ocean. There are two outside pools, each has own bar so there were no major queues even when many peoples were at the pool.Service in restaurant was quite good, however You cannot get any drinks by Yourself and need to wait for a service, Which was annoying because many time service 'didn't notice You are waiting'. That's the only one cons of service in this hotel, rest was very good !There is a good parking lot with 2 levels.

3 adults with mobility issues although reception staff very helpful rented scooter but not many taxis can actually transport so stayed in the hotel much more than we would normally the staff very helpful rooms excellent food excellent choiceAll inclusive good but the AI band is not sufficient need to show room key to have the service which is quite annoying . Apparently it is possible to have selective AI so staff have to check every time I think even if it's a change of band colour for fully AI or temporary AI 🤔All in all had a lovely time big thanks pool bar lady with blonde pony tail very attentive looking after 90 year old mum who loves a vanilla ice cream 🍦 thank you 😊

Heard great things but didn’t live up to expectation. 45 minutes to check in, the sea view room we initially booked wasn’t available and were were to check into a different room with no view. Forced us to pay an additional €200 to upgrade to another sea view room. Was late checking in to the hotel & restaurant closes at 9.30 pm and after that ordeal of a checkin, we were told if we hurried we could get dinner before it closed. €30 pp for a plate of chicken and rice (because that’s all that was left. We didn’t know the price until checkout).Aircon in the room couldn’t be lowered below 15degrees Celsius. Shower leaked water into the bedroom all week but was never fixed despite raising it with house keeping - had to have squidgy towels on the ground at all times. We opted to have lunch in the restaurant one day -€25 pp for a truly awful buffet. Cheap and poor quality food. Only a benefit if you were half/full board. Cocktails at the bar are premade in plastic jugs and are generally warm. Oh and if you want an airport shuttle you need to book it in advance - not on the morning of your flight like the checkin staff told me at checkin. A joke of a hotel.

Stayed her for 1 week. Pool area is great with a stunning view, infinity pool was great & cool. Always beds available no matter the time of day. Reception staff friendly & helpful. Our cleaner was great always top job. Overall we were satisfied with our stay. There is a point of attention. The supervision in the pool should be much better. Make sure that people do not put towels in the pool and are then absent for a large part of the day. In addition, the quality of the parasols may be improved, so that they do not blow away.

Friendly staff and always willing to help. The evening entertainment was nice and the location of the hotel was great in walking distance to the two beaches. It was also nice that the receptionist calls the room phone to check in and see if we are satisfied. But it would be great if this is not done daily. However, the quality and variety of everyday food could be much better. It’s not worth the all inclusive I paid for. The food quality is poor. Everyday the buffet is more or less similar. Same fish, pasta, salad, potato combination. Although I paid for all inclusive I ended up eating outside the hotel for half of my stay because after a few days I just got tired of eating same thing everyday. I was put in a joint hotel room while I didn’t request for this. The bed was uncomfortable to sleep on since the two beds next to each other kept moving further apart with every turn you make. Airco is not cold enough, poor internet connection in the room and some cockroaches. Everyday the room was cleaned which was great. However, the cleaners constantly kept opening my room door although it was locked from inside and with a “do not disturb tag” put on the door handle outside. The cleaners don’t respect privacy. There were moments the cleaners would come inside the room while I was showering or dressing up.

Beautiful hotel, we booked directly with the hotel B&B and found we had slightly different service/rooms to those booking through agents. We were allocated a room at first looking out onto a walkway, but asked to move and was moved straight away. Rooms cleaned everyday, staff lovely, some more helpful than others but overall would definitely return. Just wish they would stop people reserving sunbeds! Some putting towels out the night before and staff not removing them, really annoying when you see sunbeds being reserved and not used until late afternoon the following day. Overall though lovely hotel.
Amazing hotel!I was in block 3 and the 6th floor and the view to the ocean was the best part of the room. The room itself was perfect and spacious. Paqui the lady who took care of the cleaning was simply amazing! I cherish our daily conversations very much. Also everyone has been very kind both at reception ( Jose the bald guy in particular ) and in the restaurants and bars. The swimming pool on top of block 3 is just amazing, no words for it.Food was all right, it is not Michelin star but suitable for such a huge hotel. There are many many people but because the hotel so huge is it is not bothering.I surely will be back!

Great service, good rooms, and friendly housekeeping. Nice pools and plenty of activities for children. It would have been helpful to know in advance about the option to leave kids with the animation team, like a mini daycare center. One nearby beach was great, but the other had muddy water. Overall, a fantastic stay for families and those looking for a relaxing getaway.

10 night stay. 3 adults and 2 children. Really enjoyed the hotel being busy and vibrant again after previously being here when Covid locked down Spain. Kids experience much better as the team have activities during the day and evening, from feeding lizards to mini disco and face painting, my girls loved it. Connor is a great addition to the entertainment team and you really notice when he's off shift! Cynthia and Geiler were very friendly at bars / waiter service.Only issue was the lifts. It is a real issue if the promenade lift is out of action as, frankly, the path down from reception is not safe in high temperatures. The pavements in GC are made of a tile like material which becomes very slippery when hot. No joke when I say I nearly lost control of the buggy on an aborted walk out. Otherwise, great location and all staff from reception to cleaning were superb. We shall, hopefully, return in the future for our 4th visit.

7 nights in GPA - Pros & ConsPros:- Beautifully decorated rooms & clean private pools- Immaculately clean, cannot fault the cleaning staff!- Generally speaking, nice breakfast- Pools are great- Air conditioning is perfect- Rooftop snack bar & pool is the best!- Staff were happy to help when we were faced with neighbouring rooms playingloud music on speakers.Cons:- Standards seemed to slip in the breakfast buffet after about an hour of being open (8-9), dirty dishes which remained water stained/contaminated with old food for several days, chipped crockery, old lipstick stains on mugs. I also had an experience of finding several stale pieces of bread at this time, and a rotting peach within the fruit. Could be worth checking over quality of food frequently & ensuring cleanliness is maintained here, rather than focusing on just clearing old dishes from tables.- Private pool rooms are an experience. We unfortunately were at the end of the glass balcony, right by the steps that led onto the promenade. This felt unsafe & we felt as though the locks on the patio door were not secure enough. Also, could be worth investing in anti-reflective glass. You can unfortunately see into many balconies of neighbouring rooms, some of which felt an invasion of privacy and was extremely uncomfortable. This also goes for the end room on this floor, as anyone can access your pool very easily!- Strange smell of sewage coming and going at times from bathroom/in corridors- Lift was broken for 4 days out of our week long trip, which was really not ideal.- Awkward location - everywhere is at least a 10 minute walk away. Some minor tweaks may be worth making to ensure guests have a good stay & feel secure, however overall the stay was wonderful & we thank GPA for a lovely trip.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in for a while, the food was brilliant a great range and high quality and the waiting staff were extremely helpfulThe rooms were big and clean with a large balcony BUT an open bathroom without a door which could be romantic but not ideal with a 15 daughter and dad!House keeping were extremely friendly and cleaned to a high standardThe hotel is between Amadores and Puerto Rico with a walkway to both, so a good location and the lift takes you straight down to the walkway, the lifts can be slow at timesThe only negatives was that the staff on reception were not very friendly or helpful. The hotel layout is a bit complicated to begin with but you soon get the hang of it

We had such a wonderful All Invlusive stay at Gloria Palace. The staff are so accommodating and friendly, and absolutely wonderful with our daughter. The sea views along with infinity pools are breath taking.A highlight of our stay was the outstanding food and meal service - the hotel have thought if everything! The most magnificent range of food and chefs cooking in front of you.The drinks are amazing from cocktails to branded soft drinks, wine, beer, sangria. We loved the snack bar by the adult pool for some fast hot food, and the kids splash pool and infinity pool are fantastic for little ones. The entertainment for kids is great, each night there is a disco, amusements area and they have various things on on the daytime for kids and adults. Each evening there is live music from around 8:30 and unlimited drinks all day long till 1am. I must say the clientelle at this hotel were absolutely wonderful, such lovely families and couples here making it a friendly and safe atmosphere. There's a beach 13min walk away with a few shops and we hired a car which was nice to explore a few other areas.Overall this has to be one of my most enjoyable and relaxed holidays with a child, thank you everyone at Gloria Palace.

Great experience with this hotel . We booked directly via the hotel website. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the food was v good. Although I've given 5 stars throughout I can't knock it down because it's worth 5 stars. My only negative thoughts on this hotel is there is no shop Inside for groceries and the only shops are a good walk or taxi. Also the rooms although absolutely beautiful they lack a kitchen or microwave so if your bed and breakfast as we are you have to eat in restaurant or eat out which can be expensive if you are a family. This is our first time here In this hotel would recommend it to anyone

Best Saturday abroad in a long time. Connor the entertainer has been amazing. Taking all of our requests, allowing us to sing along, beautiful weather, fab bar staff. Really great afternoon, the best we have had whilst we have been here. Even got an applause from my terrible singling of a take that song!Well deserved 5 star for a true entertainer. Connor your a diamond. xxx

Large but very well functioning hotel. Very friendly service at the front desk - against request they even arranged us fruit basket in the middle of night upon our arrival even though all places were already closed. Thank you!Large, nice and recently renovated family rooms.Only negative things are old elevators that does not work 100%ly anymore and room cleaning that varied from day to day and from cleaner to cleaner, but these are only minor things.

We loved our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, rooms clean, big and nice. The only negative thing I can say is that there is no door between the bathroom and bedroom, so for example, I wasn't able to shower while my husband slept and the door to the toilet was made off glass, so there was no pooping on private 😅

Absolutely amazing place to visit in Gran Canaria, beautiful hotel with a couple of choices of pools which are cold but, refreshing. Amazing food everyday with different culture of foods every night in the buffet. Amazing pizza and cocktails. The rooms are always cleaned everyday, bedroom is left smelling fresh. Staff are so polite and very friendly. They help you when needed and cater your needs if be. Will definitely be visiting again and can't wait!!!

I was on the holidays with my grandmother and we had the best time. Truly, everything is so nice in here. Accommodation and pool is perfect, food is excellent and staff is very helpful and friendly. Employees go the extra mile for quest´s comfort. Also one of the animators, Conor, was truly wonderful. He entertained us the whole time and I would say he brings joy to this place. I 100 % recommend staying in this hotel.

Enjoyed a fab family holiday at the end of August. Lovely hotel in a great location, close to the beautiful Amadores beach. Super friendly, hardworking staff especially at the Pool bar. Special mention to Connor (the entertainment team) his energy and enthusiasm knows no bounds. Thanks to him we had many a fun filled day from the youngest to the oldest in our group.

An amazing hotel in such an incredible location! This was our second time in Gloria palace hotel and it definitely wasn’t our last. We got all inclusive and stayed for a week.We had such a warm welcome at reception and got our room straight away! We stayed in the presidential suit since there was 4 of us and we wanted to stay together instead of having two separate rooms. The room was a little warm but other than that it was very clean and comfortable. The staff was amazing and working very hard to give us the best experience at the hotel, a very special thanks to Conor who made our experience extra fun with hosting activities such as aquagym, bingo and my personal favorite the pool party and many more! The food was incredible as usual and it was amazing to see the variety of foods we were offered everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The performances in the evening were superb and was such a great end to each night we spent in the salon bar. Overall all we would like to thank you for having us and giving us such amazing experience in your hotel and we hope to see you all soon🥰

The entertainer Conor made the entertainment experience 10/10.Would definitely recommend this hotel and can’t wait to go back 👍🏻😀

The staff is outstanding. From reception to Horeca. Everyone is doing their utmost to make your stay a pleasant stay. We did go there with 4 people (parents and two sons) and booked two rooms. When we arrived they could make it a double room with doors in between - so it was kind of a family room. And no extra charge for this. Also the beds are of good quality and the rooms are clean.

Excellent holiday, would definitely come back and would also recommend all my friends. The staff is working so hard, they are doing great, the entertainment is the best, kids are so happy!Unfortunately I've seen brits leaving rubbish behind them at the pool at the end of a fun day they had and the rubbish bin was just next to them or they are placed everywhere in and around the hotel.Overall I must say that we are really pleased, great value for money! Thanks for making our holiday special ❤️

Superb hotel in a great location.Short walk to Puerto Rico town and beach or slightly longer walk to the Amadores beach.I prefer the Amadores beach walked it each day.Good entertainment each night, food first class as are the friendly staff.Rooms of very high quality.Great choice of drinks on offer.Lots of choice for where to be seated day and night, the snack bar was where we spent most of our time as the service was great.Highly recommended for a stay and will come again.

Just returned from a fabulous two weeks at the Gloria hotel. Rooms are really spacious, clean and modern. We were half board and I’ve gotto say I was really impressed with the food; lots of variety and service was great in the restaurant, staff work their behinds off and make you feel very welcome. The entertainment guys were superb; Connor and Pablo are amazing and make every single child feel special and included-the energy they bring needs to be bottled and sold! Pool is lovely, and the refurbed kiddie section was great. Only criticism here is they need more staff during peak hours in the pool bar as having 1/2 just isn’t enough. Overall it is a great hotel, you won’t be dissatisfied and I’ll definitely be recommending to friends and family.

Spa: A bit surprised with mixed bathrooms and changing rooms, no men or women all together, bathrooms very dirty and stinky, impossible to brush hair next to the bathroom as the smell was really provoking. (By lunch times, cannot imagine by the end of the day) When you get in early you can get som fresh apple or water, by 11 am no plastic cups for water or apple left. The view is the best! Cleaning and sanitizing is something that should definitely be improved as during our stay we saw absolutely nobody from the cleaning team.

This is our 3rd time at this hotel and I doubt it will be our last. The rooms have had a make over since COVID and are even better. The new kid's splash area is brilliant and my 5 year old loves it. The children's entertainer is brilliant with the kids and they all love him. I would recommend this hotel to anyone with or without children.

Reception 🙁 :We asked Jose at the receptionist what the extra charges were that we had to pay for and apparently we were not able to know - this is already ridiculous to hear! So Jose asked David Gonzalez to assist us and his first question to us was "what do you want?" In an aggressive and rude manner like we were the inconvenience. He made us extremely uncomfortable, upset and disappointed with how he was speaking to us.Pool 🙂 :The infinity pool is very beautiful and clean, definitely the highlight of the hotel!!Restaurant service 🙂 :Service was really good from Maria from the restaurant. Thank you Maria for looking after us :)Food :/ :Food was okay, some days were better than ever. Sometimes it seemed a bit repetitive but nothing bad.Extra charges 🙁 :Note that they charge you for extra on some odd things like €0.50 just to change your pool towels (after you have paid €10 as deposit). They charge you to use safety deposit boxes and quite a few drinks are charged extra too so make sure you look at the list of what is included and what is not.

A perfect place for a family holiday.Staff are friendly and helpful and there is plenty to keep the kids amused including a playpark, water slides and daily children's entertainment. There are two lively resort beaches within less than half a mile that can be easily walked to along pedestrian pathways.Onsite facilities are lovely and the plentiful and ever present staff keep the rooms and common areas in tip-top condition. This is our first stay here with our boys (7 & 4) and they want to live here now. Will definitely come again as everything is completely at your fingertips and totally hassle free.

Great location with all rooms having a sea view and facing westwards for sunsets.Room was dated and could do with a lick of paint to cover all the marks on the bedroom wall. There was also a problem with the shower which flooded the bathroom each time we used it due to the shower tray not having a lip on it to keep all the water in.Good service in the bars and restaurants in the hotel, but do you really need to have a daily charge to use the room safes? Should all be part of the service for guests safety and security.Reduced to 2* after standard generic reply which didn't address any of the issues raised.

Really loved this hotel. The location and views are fabulous. Easy walk to Amadores and Puerto Rico beaches. On arrival we looked at the very steel hill to reception and thought we're not going to enjoy that but there is a lift from hotel to promenade so no problem. The restaurant terrace is a delightful place to eat. We were made to feel very welcome by wonderful manager Juan and superstar waiter Eduardo

This area of Gran Canaria has a micro climate so it seems to have a very high percentage of sunshine and decent temperatures all year round.Hotel is excellent value with generally an older clientele staying during the Winter season. Food is hard to better anywhere and given the Covid situation the staff do a great job keeping everyone happy 😊.A must for value for money 💰.

Absolutely loved it here the rooms are gorgeous clean and spacious the food well what can I say but fabulous we never had a bad meal the only down side is the ordering of drinks in the bar its all a bit hit and miss waiters didn't have scanning machines or the wifi didn't work so they would order again so you ended up with two lots of drinks just make it all cash which I personally like anyway other than that keep doing what you're doing

We spent our honeymoon in this hotel and I rate 2 stars only because of the following issus during our stay:-The room service was not good at all and every day we had a problem, for example there were no towel in the room or the tissue were empty or the cops were not clean and we had to go to the reception each time because the telephone in the room did not work!-The elevators were all the time full and busy. there were only three with capacity of 4 or 5 people for thausands of guests! Unbeleivable busy at the time of dining and breackfast.👎-The indoor swimming pool was closed and there were no information on the website before booking the hotel.👎- There were no free water in the restaurant for dinner time. Even for the guests with half board. In total, it was much less than our expevtation of a 4stars hotel!Thi

Positives:Rooms were comfortable and air conditioned with a nice view of the ocean and the housekeeping was nice to give me extra water bottles, plus the Spa had a good massage service.Negatives:Reception was awful, took between 10-30 minutes to speak to anyone as there was always a queue, 5 desks available but only ever 2 members of staff on reception at one time, the service received was also very Bias towards the Spanish, I noticed they had a much better service than myself or anyone else visiting from other countries.Restaurant, The food was not pleasant at all, 95% of the food was pre-heated under lamps and had gone soggy, there was very little choice in terms of edible fresh produce – this was the same for breakfast lunch and dinner service. The shower in the room, was always switching between too hot and too cold, every day no matter the time it was being used, also considering the price was nearly 100 euro a night I would have expected some decent shower shampoo\conditioner be available, had I known it was some cheap stuff I would have packed my own. I mentioned it to reception about the water and they said no maintenance was available and to come back the next day, which would mean another very long queue just to speak to someone.Pool area on roof, you would expect this to be for adults mostly considering it’s a nudist pool area but people insist on bringing their kids up even though there is a designated area on the lower floor for kids with an entire facility for them to be annoying on their own and the Spanish for some reason think that leaving a blue towel on the chair means they can have that sun bed for the entire week, leaving you with not a lot of decent chair options with sun, when I attempted to move a sunbed the Spanish would bicker in Spanish and what would appear there displeased I moved there chairs slightly to get some sunshine. The Lifts, really bad generally but with covid there was families not letting you in the lift and you would sometimes spend 10 minutes waiting for an empty lift or use the stairs. The entertainment at night was awful, just singers but I understand that it may be difficult to provide better entertainment with covid, but the bar price was ridiculous at 11 euro for one drink.I did complain to the relations department at the time and was offered an upgrade to all-inclusive for the last day but unfortunately this did nothing for me as the food was so bad I would not have given it to my dog.I have stayed here before and it was significantly better, unfortunately this time around it was just stressful and on the most part unpleasant and the overall advice I would give to anyone considering staying here is if you are Spanish, go for it. If you are not then I would look elsewhere as you will not have a pleasant stay, also worth noting if you rent a safe while staying here they will sneak a nightly charge in without informing you until you check out.

Beautiful hotel. Rooms very nice. Spa also great experience. Very relaxing. Food only okay very repetitive. Was half board and would not like to all inclusive. Should get best employee at the hotel. Also Carlos at reception was very helpful. Over all a great holiday was had at this hotel . Michelle Ireland.

We just arrived. Now this trip was booked in June. My friend and I came to Spain for a month 2 weeks in Valencia. 1 week in Barcelona and 1 week in Las Palmas Canary Islands. Valencia was awesome very tranquil a lot of excursion . Barcelona was fun vibrant felt like I was back home in NY a lot of sight seeing. We thought Canary Islands would be the icing on the cake. Wrong. I don’t know who wrote these reviews. I am now skeptical of online reviews. For starters no one contacted us regarding the transition from airport to hotel. I emailed got no reply and therefore had to spend $75 to get a taxi to the hotel. 2nd there no testing center on-site it’s 15 min away and it’s not free. Second, there no one to help with luggage. No welcome when you come in. No one happy to see you. It’s just very lackluster and for the amount of money we spent I really was looking forward to this vaca. My family and I have only stayed at 4/5 star resorts and we believed we were staying at one but I will never come back here again. 3rd, no air in the room, perhaps they believe the breeze is enough, not when you’re going through peri-menopause. 4th- The wifi doesn’t work in the rooms 5th The room, outdated small for 4 ppl. They just threw a sliding bed in the middle of the room. Bathrooms have no door shower has no door toilet is see through door. Maybe it’s a European thing but we stayed at 4 different hotels in Spain all 4/5 star and all of them had doors wifi and AC. After lugging our bags to our room and coming out to grab water and a bite to eat, here where I am ready to request my money back. Now we are a family of color and I have seen the waiters by come pass us several times but scurry to a white group who just sat down. We have booked all inclusive and the all inclusive menu is just sandwiches, pizza and burgers. I tried to order salmon as I do not eat meat and they told me no. Room service is NOT included in the all inclusive. We have children and only book all inclusive when we traveling with our kids. I am really not happy we are here dor the remainder of the week. In any event pizza is good.

Fantastic hotel with great accommodations and views, very central albeit on a cliff!, food wouldn’t be to everyone’s taste, we did B&B which was sufficient to be satisfied we didn’t choose full board. One massive issue, why does a hotel that relies on lifts for everything have such a poor service, at least 75% of our time there one if not more of the lifts were out of order, this needs to be sorted out immediately.

Great hotel. Location and pool areas was perfect. Great food and very clean. Only thing dragging down the overall score was the hassle to get pool-towels in the reception. In most hotels this takes about 10 seconds but here it took minutes due to need of signature, roomnr and sometimes (depending on who you meet) a deposit. So please make this smoother, would also cut the line in reception by a lot.
