We have played here on several occasions, and just loved it. And by we I mean every member of our group from the 8 year old to the middle aged.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-78478 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.grancanariaregional.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Laser-Drome-Joycie-group-photo-600x450-1.jpg\" alt=\"Laser Drome combat Hangar 37\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Prior reservation<\/h3>\n<p>Different than in other places, you book the laserdrome by hour and only by prior reservation, so the guys have the time to prepare the room for you. You can book either an 1-hour or 2-hour session online. For the activity to take place there has to be a minimum of 6 players. Lots of pros, but a few cons that spoiled the experience a little.Pros : friendly staff, fantastic selection of equipment to buy, superb playing arena, great facilities for those just wanting to watch, good face and eye protection equipment provided, friendly local playersCons : as a tourist it felt like being cannon fodder to the locals who are able to bring their own equipment. You\u2019re given a bright coloured vest (see photos) and stand out like a sore thumb. Locals in camoflage gear (see photos) have tiny coloured ribbons on their arm which from a distance make it very hard to work out which team they\u2019re on. Some also have comms gear. When shooting you\u2019re supposed to show yourself, but we were hit numerous times by a \u201csniper\u201d who certainly did not show themselves when shooting.So as a tourist it doesn\u2019t feel like a fair fight, and we\u2019re charged more for the privilege (the same doesn\u2019t happen in our country and all guests charged equally).We went twice during our two week holiday and on the whole enjoyed the experience. My son spent 9 hours here over 3 days recently while on holiday and had an amazing time. Great system of a one off entry fee then a new game every 10 minutes to enter. Superb set up and staff. Very nice friendly atmosphere with other players looking out for him and super clean facilities (toilets, showers etc). Only let down was the hamburger in the canteen! Worst burger I have ever seen! Bread was soaked through in a fake liquid cheese sauce and was inedible. For 30 euro you get +300 balls which is plenty of games. Each game lasts 10 minutes and there's different game modes like capture the flag as well. There's changing room, little bar with refreshments and you can also bring your own ASG weapons. Arena is detailed with many buildings, pipes hiding spots and provides some tactical capability for players. Worth noting to bring some drinks since running in camo  in full sun drains you real quick. It was really nice to experience. Some of the people there playing, have their own outfits and weapons. And they take the game serious. But as a newbie it is fun to do as well.  The crew speaks english and are friendly. You get a gun and outfit at the reception for 25 euros. The ammunition is certainly enough. I played for 3,5 hours and i still had ammo left. The uniforms were clean and big sized (too big for me). Guns a bit heavy for kids or small sized people, but not horrible. If your party isn't big, there are usually other players around  you can play together (against each other or mixed up).Service was nice, installations new and clean, lots of toilets and also 2 showers (per gender, id assume).
