Kamikaze Bike has a new home since May 2021 – and what a wonderful new home it is, too! The bicycle shop has been running for an incredible 27 years and is one of the oldest and well established bike shops on the island.

Kamikaze’s New Location
If you are cyclist – you must check it out! The well established bike shop was previously located on the Avda. Alejandro de Castillo, close to the Amurgas IES school. Now is is on a top location, right next to the newly re-opened La Casa Vieja on the way up to Fataga. In a spacious and airy local, ideal for a bike stop after exploring Gran Canaria on a bicycle.
Cycling on Gran Canaria
In recent years cycling in Gran Canaria has become big business. With our excellent climate and especially idyllic temperatures in the winter months, there really is no better place to enjoy this sport. The services of Kamikaze Bike grew with the popularity and outgrew the old local, adding ever more needed offers for all bicycle lovers, from the city cyclist and the mountain biker to the professional racer.
Kamikaze Bike Store
KAMIKAZE BIKE has to be one of the coolest bike stores or showrooms we have ever seen. Well, that is if you can even call it simply a store or showroom. It is more of a wonderful boutique, cafe/bar, repair shop, chill out zone and refreshing pit stop with exceptional attention to detail everywhere you look.
The Bicycle Shop
The shop caters for all styles of cycling from mountain bikes, e-bikes, children bikes, city bikes, racers and right up to the very top class, costing thousands of euros. There is an incredible selection of bikes to purchase including the ever increasingly popular E-Bike. Plus all the high quality brands such as ANIMA, MERAK, SK PININFARINA and CORRATEC.
Bicycle Accessories
Inside the shop you will find every kind of biking accessory you can think of and also an excellent range of cycling clothes, shoes, watches, caps and designer sunglasses. Kamikaze are also very proud to also be one of the distributors for the prestigious Brand GPS GARMIN and have a great selection of models on display.
Bike Repair
You need someone who you can entrust your bike to, and this is the right place! For all your bike repairs you need look no further. With years of experience Roberto is here to help and advise you. You can see from the numerous awards and certificates of qualifications on the wall that you are absolutely in the right place.
Bike Stop & Restaurant
There is a wonderful shady terrace outside the shop where you can grab yourself a healthy breakfast or snack such as their delicious bocadillo’s or homemade tortilla excellent craft beers from GROWL or grab a coffee or a fruit smoothie. You can even order food from the menu from the adjoining restaurant La Casa Vieja.
Even if you are not a cyclist this is a rather cool place to just come and relax in an inviting and chilled out atmosphere.

Situated in San Fernando on the beginning of the road up to Fataga. It is adjacent to the recently refurbished La Casa Vieja Restaurant & Grill. You can not fail to miss it with the red & white cow at the entrance to the spacious tree lined car park. The perfect location to start and finish any bike ride.

Adjacent to the shop is the La Casa Vieja Restaurant & Grill. With new ownership and completely refurbished this is a delightful place to visit for breakfast, lunch or evening meal. They have the healthiest of breakfasts, Canarian Tapas and an excellent selection of meats, fish and vegetarian dishes. Love Gran Canaria recommends you also pay them a visit.

This really got to be the best bycicle shop and pit stop I have ever seen.
Kamikaze Bike has thought of everything: Top selection of bikes: electrobikes, racer, mountain, for kids and all the necessary accessories. Even a bicycle repair area is there.
And a BIKE STOP with healthy food, GROWLS beer, healthy snacks and full lunch or dinner if that is what you need. Honestly, you have got to check it out, and the location cannot be better.
