Yesterday we experienced the beauty of scuba diving. It was one of my old dreams to dive in sea and get some basic concepts and skills to see if I like it or not. Well I guessed a big YES. After I won over my fears I could start to feel freedom, serenity and peace, absolute relaxation and happiness. Also unforgettable moments because of diving together with my daughter and son!Thank you all the instructors who helped us through this journey!🙏❤️Thank you Mark for being so patient with me (despite of kicking you several times😁) and helping me to get more confidence!If you’re a beginner and want to test the water I highly recommend Blue Water Diving Centre in Puerto Rico! Great dive center with a very patient instructors. They understood our concerns and found another solution which war really appreciated and in this case I managed with instructor's help to go beyond my limit. My husband and daugthers 13y, 14y enjoyed the course and had a lot of fun. Thank you for this experience.

I would like to share the most amazing experience with all people at blue water diving. I took my advanced open water here with Kate and her wonderful team of dive masters and instructors, I was a little nervous as I had not been diving for so long, they put me at ease, and supported me to build my confidence back up, I loved every minute I dived with the guys at the centre.The night dive was awesome and a very different experience for those who have the qualifications to do so. The drift dive and deep dive were also amazing.I also went snorkelling with them with a smaller group of people, this was also amazing, very satisfying indeed entering from the beach which was lovely, and a relaxing start to the day, some of the guys on the snorkel experience were not happy however I knew this was a snorkel not a dive so the experience is different from that of a scuba dive. Anyone wanting more, should try the scuba experience for beginners, a promise an amazing experience.I will be coming back here next year, and will be doing more specialities with the guys here, I can’t wait and already looking to book. Thank you guys, you are all very special people. 🤩

I would like to thank you for a amazing snorkelling tour today . The instructor was lovely and really helped me get used to the equipment as I have never been before ! . We saw octopus fighting and she was catching shrimps with her hands and feeding them to the fish . This trip far exceeded my expectations . Unfortunately we had to cut the swim shorter than planed due to one of the other guests complaining that we were not going to be swimming for 3 hours and we were not going by boat ! . Thanks for a amazing time we will defiantly be doing this again hopefully without someone who clearly had unrealistic expectations . X

I qualified as an Advanced Open Water Diver back in 2001 with my wife so we always knew when we had our son as soon as he was old enough we wanted to give him the opportunity. Why is it important to share this?Well when you are trusting a team with your only child it has to be the right choice and a great team.The full team at Blue Water didn’t let us down in anyway they were nothing short of amazing. My son qualified for his Junior open water and we will be back in October when he turns 12 to do his Junior advanced.If you are brand new, fully qualified and really experienced or wanting to get your kids to try a lifelong skill then do not hesitate to contact Kate & Chris at Bluewater their knowledge, the team they have created and the warm welcome they give everyone is exceptional. Having been lucky enough to dive all over the world I have to say this is the best Dive club by far.Special mention to Eileen, Giles and Kate who trained and were buddies with my son. They have given him the bug (have to say I’m delighted) and he wanted me to pass on his thanks he loves you all.Steph who myself and my wife went diving with was superb and an awesome professional.Last mention (this is really bad of me) to the Scottish chap who was on holiday who took us on another dive with the Blue Water team he was excellent. Again the reason for mentioning is that he trained with Blue Water and goes back all the time to spend time with the team which just says everything.So how do I sum up the experience, 5 star you will struggle to find a better team to dive with.Thank you so much for looking after us, see you in October.Andy, Coral and Ethan

I signed up for the beginners discovery course and absolutely loved it! My trainer/guide, Irene was friendly and patient and pointed out some awesome creatures! We saw a spider crab and a cuttle fish!! If you want a great experience, go with blue water diving.

We went as a group of 3. 2 had no problem, I struggled on breathing, and as everybody was waiting on me already on the boat (I've had 5 minutes to learn how to breath) I felt really rushed and called off the day, just couldn't make it on time it was expected. The first part of training took place in the room not with qualified diver but on your phone! Then straight to awful dirty water in the bit where all boats clean their toilets(it looked like that) and like I said I felt rushed as I was last in to the water and whole group was waiting on me on the boat, fair enough everyone before me took 5 minutes to do it but u wouldn't expect that from beginner class that the most important part would take 5 minutes. 2 out of our group went down and again we were miss sold as the guy told us it will be one qualified diver per one beginner(when we were booking I specifically asked for that twice), it's not the game unfortunately. We had 2 fully qualified drivers for whole group rest was still on training, they even talked to each other that they failed on something and have to re take the test... whole overall from 2 who dived from my group the experience was awesome but tbh it would be much better if this was what the company advertised for as they whole group was kept together and justdid whole diving as group not one by one diver. For me as I needed more time than 5 minutes in the water before the dive, anyone who is expecting pure beginner experience-avoide, I've seen classes in Tourito and Amadores where the trainer take u on the shore of the beach and actually spend time with you and only you, until you are ready to do the dive. If you are not sure if you can do it avoid as its only for ppl who can do it after 5 minutes training in the water and be comfortable with 2 qualified ppl for the whole group. They also train newbies in the team while they take u for the dive...very unprofessional experience, not what u would expect from such a serious activity, also I did not dive, I still had to pay for it.The last thing I've had a wee feeling there is some bulling going on in the team, especially from I think the owner- the guy who operates the boat towards young drivers...

A well deserved 5* review. Shout out to Erin and Ireland for their care and attention to what was a particularly needy group of snorkelers! They were on hand to ensure that everyone was safe and had as good a time as possible.I've had the misfortune of going out with a bad dive company before and I'm glad to say that the Blue Water Diving company is in a league of their own.If and when I return to Gran Canaria, I'll definitely be coming back here.

I'm a first-timer and did my PADI Open Water certification here with Chris and Josh. They were very friendly and helpful (but not overly hand-holdy), and patient and reassuring when I got a bit panicky with the mask. Chris is very knowledgeable when it comes to wildlife.However, they did forget to show me how to use the DSMB/signal tube in-water (a skill that is required for the certification). They explained it to me at the dive shop, but I didn't get to practice. Also, there was a bit less time in the water than expected because the confined and open water dives were combined.Great experience overall.

Amazing experience with beautiful diving sites! I took the Open Water course with no diving or snorkeling experience, and I am glad I took the course at Blue Water Diving. Kate and Chris are highly professional, supportive, super friendly, and fun! In the beginning, I had trouble with equalizing my ears, but Kate encouraged me and made me always feel safe and well looked after. Thanks to her and her team I was able to finish the course successfully despite my initial difficulties with equalization. They were kind and patient but also serious and supportive when needed, which made it the perfect learning experience. Both Kate and Chris are incredible teachers, and it was an honor to learn from them. They were able to pay attention to each person's individual needs and make it an amazing diving experience for everyone. The balance between fun and learning was excellent. Even while driving to the diving sites spending time with the Blue Water Diving team was super fun!!! It’s a great bunch of people with highly trained interns who were very attentive and professional. A special thanks to my dive buddy Leonie who is an incredible diver and teacher as well. Her passion for diving was truly inspiring. I spent some more time with the team after diving, and it was so much fun and an absolute pleasure to meet every single one of You! Thank you so much for this incredible time and experience. Anyone thinking about scuba diving should book Blue Water Diving. You’ll be in great hands!

We are certified divers and did two gorgeous dives at Amadores Beach. Despite my certification I still get quite nervous beforehand and my request for a shore dive was accepted by Blue Water Diving without any hesitation. Had an absolutely amazing experience with Blue Water Diving. Did 4 dives over two days at 4 fantastic dive sites. All the dive masters and dive masters in training are top notch. Welcoming, helpful, fun, all with a huge focus on safety. Kate and Chris are doing things the right way and it shows. If you are thinking about diving in Gran Canaria (no matter what your experience level is) Blue Water Diving is the way to go!

First class introduction to scuba diving for our family (ages 13 & 17). Short lecture followed by practice manoeuvres under water then out for a 45 minute dive round the reef, saw an octopus in his garden, lots of colourful fish, absolutely marvellous sense of weightlessness and gliding underwater. The school is run by Kate and Chris, and a handful of interns all of whom have excellent manner and teaching skills. As a Dive Instructor Kate is gentle in manner but appropriately assertive, very reassuring. She taught myself, my wife and the kids competently and safely and we greatly enjoyed the session. Thank you.

Awesome experience with the whole team. Such a nice group of people to make our first experience with diving. We were 8 of us with 2 kids and a baby tagging along and all of us had a great time including 2 of us who didnt know swimming . The guys took the effort to take us to the perfect spot 45 mins away as the regular one they use was affected by bad weather. All of us saw tons of fish including a shark ! All excited for the next experience.

Snorkelled for the first time. Lads have all the gear and set you up. Great entry level snorkel off the beach pier. Plenty to see. Enough area to tire you out as a novice! Great way to spend a couple hours.

Our youngest daughter just completed her dive master course yesterday. All of our children (4) have qualified with Chris and Kate over the years. We have dived in many places with different scuba outlets. I would not trust my children with anyone else. Chris and Kate run a tight ship but with a lot of fun thrown in. I don’t suggest you go anywhere else if you want to dive Safely and enjoy to the max.

Excellent. Best day of our holiday so far. We did the beginner session (family of 5) and all enjoyed it. We saw a seahorse, a massive Ray, some cuttlefish and numerous different species of fish. The instructors were very nice and made us all feel comfortable and relaxed. Well worth the money - highly recommended.

Amazing experience!! Chris is really cool guy, this was my first dive but I felt so comfortable and safe with him. I really wondering to come back next time to do a course with him. There were also two really nice ladies who are bussy with training for dive master. I highly recommend!!! All of you made my day, this was so far my best adventure in a while.

Had a great experience learning to dive with Danny! My friend and I took the DSD course and it was perfect. We got a chance to try out scuba diving and take a dive into a near by reef without the extensive training and high costs of the Padi course, which will definitely be next for us 😉

We spent close to a week diving with Chris and Kate with my partner (she passed her Advanced Open Water certification with them. I would highly recommend diving with Blue Water Diving - great teaching, high level of attention given to the safety (and fun!) of the divers, good 5* equipment and very nice people. I was looking for a dive school in gran canaria to finish off the four dives for my open water course.I was slightly hesitant initially because of one recent bad review, but decided to give it go as I was really impressed at how efficient Kate was with her communication and willingness to accomodate for dates that work best for me ( I didn't want to do the dives on consecutive days as I thought I will be too tired ).I ended up doing all my dives 1:1 with the instructor - Keko. He was absolutely brilliant and fun to dive with. He wasn't baby sitting and was stepping in where necessary which allowed me to gain a lot of experience quickly and become more comfortable. After each dive I received great feedback and points to work on for the next dive.I wanted to do a few more dives but unfortunately I have to leave soon otherwise I would have definitely done them with the same school.Thanks for the great dives team and please keep up the great work!

Can’t say enough good things about Kate, Chris and Co. Everyone at Blue Water Diving is super friendly, knowledgable and professional. My husband and I started out a bit nervous but they put us at ease straight away and made everything simple and easy to pick up on. We began with the open water certification and loved it so much that we moved on to the advanced course right after. Zero to hero in x1 month includes the time equivalent of 60+ dives of varying depths up to 30m. Or just come for a dive and help the divemasters to train alongside the Instructors who will take you out. Boat and shore diving sites available to choose from around the entire island. Prices vary depending on site, depth and gear needed. Instructors Fluent in English. The diving in Gran Canaria is top notch and the training amazing and challenging. 🙂 Love it.

Excellent dive Center run by people who know how to mix fun with safety.Had my first 4 dives with these guys since completing my OWD and never felt safer.We did Tufia from the beach and wreck dive off Mogan.Loads of interesting sea life on both dives including rays , trumpet fish and barracuda ... and a pesky damsel fish protecting his part of the wreck !😁I’ll certainly be back after Covid !!
