The breakfast was so luxury, it was a lovely surprise for us! The rooms were big and comfortable, I loved the bed.

The hotel is really old school, needs a complete renovation. The room has old furniture, the lamp was hanging loose, the power outlet was half out of the wall. The bedding was also disgusting. The walls were paper thin, in the morning you wake up to the neighbors alarm or how they shower. The first night after 10pm there was no warm water.Only positive thing was the breakfast.Do NOT recommend!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars – A truly fantastic stay!During our holiday on Gran Canaria, we stayed at Hotel La Aldea Suites, and we could not have wished for a better place. From the moment we arrived — tired after traveling — we were met exactly where we were. The staff welcomed us with genuine warmth, friendly smiles, a cold drink, and the option to order food right away. This kindness continued throughout our entire stay; no matter where we turned, we were met with helpfulness and sincere hospitality.Our room was spacious, spotless, and offered a beautiful view of the mountains. The whole hotel was extremely clean and well-kept, both the common areas and our room, making it the perfect base for our holiday. The location is also ideal for exploring the area on foot, with great hiking opportunities nearby.The town itself is wonderfully authentic and not touristy at all, which added even more charm to our stay.One of the highlights each day was the excellent breakfast buffet. The selection was large and varied, and everything was constantly replenished. The staff made sure the buffet always looked tidy and inviting. Being able to enjoy breakfast out in the garden was an extra bonus.We had an absolutely fantastic stay, and we want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the entire staff for making our holiday so special. Your kindness and warm, welcoming attitude truly made a difference.We would also like to take the opportunity to highlight the restaurant Pasta y Gofio in town, where we had the best dining experience of our trip.Thank you for helping make our stay unforgettable!

The value is great for the price. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very attentive to making sure we had what we wanted. Front desk was extremely welcoming and the views were spectacular. If you’re in this side of the island, it’s a great option.

I can't understand why this hotel has such a high rating. The rooms are very dirty and old, the sockets are broken, the toilet is broken. The view from the balcony is on the fence. On the first floor someone is always smoking and it all stinks up to the second floor. For the money we paid for this room, you can rent an excellent finca with designer renovation. I highly, highly do not recommend it.

De We are a family touring the island. We chose the hotel based on reviews from other travelers. The hotel is decent, spacious rooms and has everything you need. The service is good. It has a pool table and table tennis table, ideal for entertainment with children and family. The cleanliness of the rooms could be greatly improved, especially the floor and carpets, accumulated dust and other people's hair. We were disappointed that it was a room for three and the sofa is not a sofa bed, it is simply an outdoor sofa with a sheet put on top, making it not comfortable to sleep since it is not a mattress and the sofa joint was there. What is not pleasant is the lack of ventilation in the rooms at night and the unpleasant smell in general of the hotel. They put a lot of air freshener but the environment lacks natural ventilation. As for breakfast, there is variety and quantity. The pastries are all industrial from the supermarket, not from a bakery made on the day, and what is hot is made all at once first thing in the morning and they leave it already made covered. The ham and cheese sandwich is already like xicle when you go to eat it... there are some points to improve.

Very nice place. Rooms are big, clean and comfortable. The bed is super large although it made of two seperate mattresses, it's not noticable and feels comfortable, lots of space! The breakfast is plenty to choose from and delicious. The staff is super friendly and makes sure you have everything you would need. The area is a quiet village which we highly appreciate, the closest beach has a brilliant atmosphere, clean and nice. Overall I would definitely return and recommend this place for anyone.

Lovely place, huge choice of good quality food in the included breakfast with lots of fresh fruit, meats, breads, cheese, cereals, pastries etc. Wifi is good. Attractive pool area. Very attentive and polite staff. Lovely spacious room. Very happy. Would recommend to anyone.

Super nice place with a great view! We had so much joy being here. The staff is super nice and helpful, the view is breath taking every day when we woke up. This hotel was even better than some 4star hotels we have been to. Excellent hotel/suites in a small village great for exploring the northern stretch of the island. Probably the best buffet breakfast I’ve ever had included in the cost of a room. Lots of selection of fresh fruit, cheese, meat, eggs, yogurts, cereal, eggs etc. Fantastic. Lots of free parking available. Only downside was the bedroom in our suite didn’t have air conditioning or a TV, though the main living room space did. Small complaint but in the hotter months likely more of an issue. Also the toilet wasn’t level, so every time someone sat on it, it banged around on the floor (woke me up in the middle of the night when one of the kids went to the washroom). And the shower was warm but not hot and ran out of even the slightly warm water fairly quickly. Also not much of a restaurant or night life in the village. These are quite small issues but altogether take one star away from our perspective. I would still highly recommend this hotel overall with those small caveats.

Musty and damp. There was a spongy plastic mat at the side of the bed. It was damp. I put it outside. The floor where the mat had been was damp and sticky. My feet started itching at 3AM. I washed them at 4AM. The room had no ventilation. I could not open the door to the shared terrace as my neighbours were heavy smokers. I paid a three figure sum for one night. Couldn't wait to get away.

I would say 3.5. For old but refurbished hotel I think it's ok. If you are very pedantic and start looking to small details than you probably will have some comments. True, they might consider to put more attentuon to cleaning and changing some elements as there simply rusty. But it has all commodities you need. You probably want aircon to work in summer, but in Dec I haven't used it, so temp. in room was perfect. Breakfast has basic varieties of Spanish food chooses. Papaya seems to be grown local and being in excess in cantine 🙂

Great hotel with friendly staff and excellent extensive breakfast in the morning. Swimming pool and jacuzzi within the premises. An excellent location for exploring this part of the island, on a walking holiday. Situated within the town with shops and restaurant nearby.

Lovely hotel and super friendly, helpful staff. It's in a great location for exploring the west/central side of the island, and if you prefer a less touristy area. It has parking and there's a supermarket just round the corner. Would definitely go back! 😊

This is a hidden gem! Here’s why you should stay here:1. The service is incredible; cleanliness, you’ll find everything you need & want.2. The staff is the most friendly I’ve met.3. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I’ve ever seen; fresh fruit, 10 different breads, 7 different (local delicacy ) cheese, 6 different cakes etc etc.4. The rooms are gorgeous; modern yet rustic in a lovely mix.5. The pool & jacuzzi area is amazing; sun chairs aplenty, pingis table.6. The WiFi is great for working & meetings!7. It’s so close to the most superb hiking Gran Canaria can offer (try Tamadaba! You can rent a taxi to take you there & back).8. Something that surprised me that’ll make me choose this over Maspalomas in the future; this are has the most hours of sun on the whole island! There was sun 13/14 days & perfect temperature in February!It’s perfect for people working digitally, for a relaxing holiday in the sun, hiking or family holiday.I’ve traveled across the world but this lovely hotel is probably my favorite stay. Highly recommend!

Stayed here in March. Nice hotel, good rooms, food, staff & pool. Location not ideal as set in an inland agricultural town. A good base for exploring the island by car maybe.

A gem of a Hotel located on the quiet side of the Island. Very comfortable and clean, excellent customer service, friendly reception and quality throughout. Relaxing outside Pool and Heated Jacuzzi, perfect for a quiet holiday, although our teenage children were not with us, children used to a quieter life would fit in. A lavish breakfast each morning and very good coffee.

The only reason I have not given 5 star rating is that this hotel lacks an in-house restaurant and the town itself is quite disappointing in terms of dining options, also, I felt a bit uncomfortable in the town during the evening and night and would have preferred to have an in-house dining. Rest all is impressive - large and comfortable rooms, onsite parking, amicable staff.

This is a lovely quiet rural part of the island, the hotel serves a buffet style breakfast that caters for everyone and is a great start to the day. The family room was spacious (2 adults/3 children), small balcony with nice views, clean. Pool area clean and modern (pool is a little chilly!) The owners and members of staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, it was the perfect wintersun break, beach is 10 minutes away and was perfect for small children to play. Plenty of places to eat and drink at very cheap prices in the area.
